Objective To explore the application of hysteroscopy in assisted reproduction. Methods A retrospective analysis was made on results of routine hysteroscopy in 150 cases of infertile women scheduled for assisted reproduction.Results Among the 150 cases,abnormal hysteroscopic findings were identified in 47 cases(31%),including endometrial polyps in 18 cases(12%),endometrial hyperplasia in 17 cases(11%),uterine deformity in 7 cases(5%),uterine adhesion and stenosis in 3 cases(2%),endometrial tuberculosis in 1 case(0.7%),and submucous myoma or adenomyoma in 1 case(0.7%).To think of hysteroscopic findings as the standard,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predicted rate,negative predicted rate,and accuracy were 66%(31/47),98%(101/103),94%(31/33),86%(101/117),and 88%(132/150) for transvaginal ultrasonography,respectively,and were 26%(12/47),100%(95/95),100%(12/12),73%(95/130),and 75%(107/142) for uterophotography,respectively.Conclusions Hysteroscopy is a simple and reliable way to explore the uterine cavity.It may be selected as a routine examination before assisted reproduction.

Objective To investigate the effect of mifepristone on the activity of proliferation and the apoptosis, the expression of estrogen receptor (ER),progesterone receptor (PR) protein and morphology changes of human ovarian carcinoma cell line 3AO and SKOV3 in vitro. Methods The proliferative activity of 3AO and SKOV3, which were cultured in vitro, was measured by tetrazolium-based colorimetric assay (MTT assay). Flow cytormetry (FCM) was used to measure the expressive rate of ER, PR , p53 protein, bcl-2 protein, cell apoptotic rate and cell proliferative cycle of 3AO cells, which were cultured with different concentration and duration of mifepristone. The morphologic and ultrastructure changes of apoptotic 3AO cells was observed by the light and electron microscopy. Results Mifepristone inhibited significantly the proliferation of 3AO cells in dose-time dependent manner in vitro. The inhibitory rate of 3AO cells growth, which were cultured with different concentration of mifepristone( 5,10,20,40,80 ?mol/L) and duration (24,48,72 h) was from 1.7% to 75.0%(P0.05). 3AO cells apoptosis activity appeared the positive correlation with the dose of mifepristone and cultured duration (P

Objective To observe the efficacy of Complex Oral Motor Scoring (COMS) and diadochokinetic rate (DR) on evaluation of oral motor dysfunction and speech disorders in children with cerebral palsy. Methods 107 children with cerebral palsy were tested with Chinese-version Articulation Test, Simple Oral Motor Scoring (SOMS), COMS and DR. The correlation among SOMS, COMS and DR was analysesd. Results 85 children were abnormal in SOMS and 94 in COMS. Oral dyskinesia was found in all the children with spastic quadriplegia, dyskinetic, ataxia and mixed type of cerebral palsy, and less in the type of spastic diplegia and hemiplegia. DR was the least in spastic quadriplegia, dyskinetic, mixed type of cerebral palsy, more in the type of ataxia and spastic diplegia, and the most in hemiplegia. The coefficient of correlation among the SOMS, COMS, the longest pronunciation and DR were more than 0.8 (P<0.01). Conclusion The incidence and severity of oral dyskinesia and dysarthria are associated with the types of cerebral palsy. There is good correlation among SOMS, COMS, longest pronunciation and DR.

Purpose To study NF-κB gene expression level in mouse hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines with differently lymphatic metastasis potentials and to discuss its roles in lymphatic metastasis.Methods Using real-time quantitative PCR, NF-κB gene expression level was detected in mouse hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines, including Hca-P with low lymphatic metastasis potential and Hca-F with high lymphatic metastasis potential.Results NF-κB mRNA expression in Hca-P and Hca-F cell lines were (1.41±0.48)×10~(-3),and (2.95±0.22)×10~(-3) (P<0.01),respectively.NF-κB mRNA expression levels were increased with metastasis potential.Conclusion NF-κB gene may play an important role in lymphatic metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Objective To discuss the effective measures for skin allergy caused by hyaline mem-brane after deep venous catheterization. Methods Patients (102 eases) were divided into the control group(50 cases) and the test group(52 cases).3M hyaline membrane was patched on the skin directly to fix the catheter after successful puncture in the control group.While in the test group 3M hyaline membrane was patched on the skin after 3M painless protective membrane was sprayed on the skin. Results The incidence of skin allergy in the test group was lower than that of the control group. Conclusions Spray of 3M painless protective membrane before usage of hyaline membrane to fix the catheter could prevent the incidence of skin allergy after deep venous catheterization.

Objective To investigate the distribution of characteristics,clinical manifestations,laboratory parameters and activity index of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and to determine their role in helping to make correct clinical diagnosis and disease the activity evaluation of SLE.Methods Collect the data of 1037 SLE patients of Ningxia Medical University Affiliated Hospital from January 2006 to June 2010.Data were analyzed with t test and Chi-square test.Results Over the past three years,there were more and more patients were admitted year by year.Among the 1037 cases of SLE patients,most of them 20-40 year-old woman,accounting for 67.5％ of the whole patient population,with a male to female ratio was 1:8.26.Joint pain was the most common initial symptom,accounting for 54.3％,followed by skin rash,accounting for 48.2％.Decreased complement C3 level and platelets counts, proteinuria,and positive anti-dsDNA antibody could be used as indicators for early diagnosis of SLE.SLEDAI activity score higher than 9 were presented in 26.0％ of patients.Factors that could impact the final score of SLEADI were fever,arthritis,skin rash,proteinuria,low complement levels,high titers of anti-dsDNA antibody,pleurisy,alopecia,mucosal ulcers,pericarditis,mental illness and decreased platelets count.Patients with active disease had a higher accidence of fever,arthritis,skin rash,lung damage,alopecia,mucosal ulcers,heart damage,mental illness and renal damaged,low complement levels,high level of anti-dsDNA antibody titers and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate.Conclusion SLE is a multi-system disease with multiple organ involvement,with characteristic clinical symptoms and immunological abnormalities,thus early diagnosis is very important.Understanding the characteristics of the diseases,correct judgement of the disease activity,reasonable and effective treatment all can delay the development of organ damage and improve the prognosis.

Objective To explore the clinical features and endoscopic manifestations of eosinophilic gastroente-ritis(EG)in children.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted of the clinical manifestation,laboratory examination,endoscopy(upper and/or colonoscopy)performance,diagnosis and treatment of 49 cases of patients who were diagnosed as EG in Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from July 2013 to July 2015.Results The common clinical manifestations of EG in children were hematochezia(23 cases),diarrhea(20 cases),vomiting(18 cases)and abdominal pain(15 cases).The ages of children admitted to hospital for the first time ranged from 1 month and 7 days old to 13 years and 7 months old,and the mean age was 59.4 months old,in which most patients were younger than 1 year old,accounting for 38.77％(19 cases)of all.Peripheral blood eosinophilia was present in 20 cases(40.82％)of the patients,and only 6/18 cases(33.33％)of the patients had elevated serum IgE.Upon endoscopic analysis,the lesions involved esophagus(4 cases),stomach(14 cases),duodenum(20 cases),small intestine(15 cases),colon(28 cases)and rectum(6 cases),and the most common manifestation under gastroscopy was mucosal hyperemia edema(27 cases)and erosion(9 cases),while the most common manifestation under colonoscopy was mucosal hyperemia edema(25 cases)and nodular hyperplasia(24 cases).All patients improved with food restriction,in which 8 cases were treated with glucocorticoid while 9 cases with oral Singulair and 9 cases with oral Loratadine.All children with symptoms were alleviated somewhat,but 5 cases of them relapsed after drug withdrawal.Conclusions The clinical manifestations of EG in children varied and were mainly hematochezia,vomiting,diarrhea and abdominal pain.Some patients had the elevated peripheral blood eosinophilia and serum IgE.The most common manifestations under gastroscopy were mucosal hyperemia edema and erosion while the most common manifestations under colonoscopy were mucosal hyperemia edema and nodular hyperplasia.

Objective To provide anatomical basis for the free saphenous branch of descending genicular artery flap and evaluate its clinical outcomes for the hand soft-tissue defects. Methods Fifteen fresh cadavers injected with lead oxide-gelatin mixture for three-dimensional visualization reconstruction using a spiral computed tomography scanner. The origin, course and distribution of the perforators of descending genicular artery were observed.From January 2005 to October 2011,seven patients with skin defect on the distant limbs were treated.The flap size was 5 cm × 6 cm-11 cm × 14 cm,vascular pedicle length 5.4 (4-7)cm. ResultsThe saphenous branch was consistent. It arised from the descending genicular artery (68％) or femoral artery(32％).The diameter of the saphenous branch was 1.5(1.1-1.7)mm at its origin above 9.0(4.0-16.0)cm from the medial epicondylar.Seven cases of flaps all survived,the average followup of 28 months,close to hand flap of skin texture,some sensory recovery,two-point discrimination 8-12mm. Conclusion Free saphenous branch of descending genicular artery flap is a reliable option for the treatment of soft tissue defect in hands. The pedicles were invariable of anatomy, thickness of the flaps is comparable,and procedure is simple and time saving.
