The aim of this study is to develop the Tripterygium glycosides nanoemulsion gels and investigate its pharmacodynamics. Oleic acid was used as oil phase, polyoxyethylene castor oil as surfaetant, and 1,2-propanediol as cosurfactant to screen the formula of Tripterygium glycoside nanoemulsion using the pseudo-temary phase diagrams. Then the nanoemulsion gels was prepared. The ICR mouse ears were sensitazated by 7% DNCB, and then were excited by 0.3% DNCB to stimulate the model of mouse chronic dermatitis and eczema. The concentrations of IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-8 in mouse blood were determined by ELISA. The results showed that Tripterygium glycosides nanoemulsion gels could significantly inhibit the swelling of mouse ears(P < 0.01) and ameliorate the edama and erythema of model mouse ears skin. Also it could significantly decrease the expression of IFN-γ and IL-4 in model mouse blood. Tripterygium glycosides nanoemulsion gels had a good therapeutic effect on mouse model of dermatitis and eczema. It was expected to provide a new and long-acting exterernal preparation for the treatment of dermatitis and eczema.

OBJECTIVETo analyze and summarize the clinical and pathological characteristics of intracranial haemangioblastoma and to improve surgery effect.
METHODSeventy-two patients with intracranial haemangioblastoma who were proven by operation and pathology from 1970 to 1988 were analyzed retrospectively.
RESULTSIntracranial haemangioblastoma tends to occur in the hemisphere of cerebellum (83 tumours, 87%) and the age of them ranged from 20 to 40 years (47 cases, 58.3%) mostly. The ratio of men (46 cases) was higher than women (26 cases). The diagnosis of the disease depends on CT and MR substantive haemangioblastoma. The most effective and reliable treatment of intracranial haemangioblastoma is surgical resection.
CONCLUSIONIntracranial haemangioblastoma is benign tumour which can be, cured by total surgical resection. The key recurrence factors include the young age of initial onset, mistaken exploration and incomplete extirpation of tumour.

OBJECTIVETo study the related proteins of apoptosis initiation induced by homoharringtonine (HHT) in HL-60 cells.
METHODSAfter establishment of an apoptosis initiation model induced by HHT in HL-60 cells, proteins of untreated and HHT treated HL-60 cells were extracted, and the two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (2-DE) maps of the extracted proteins were established by using the immobilized pH gradient (IPG) two-dimensional electrophoresis respectively. The alteration protein spots were identified with assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-MS) and database searching.
RESULTSProteomics analysis showed that proteins including MHC class I antigen, calbindin D-28K, chloride channel protein 6, oncoprotein 18, zinc finger protein Helios and apoptosis inhibitor like protein 2 were involved in apoptosis initiation induced by HHT.
CONCLUSIONThe present study might conduce to the researches of HL-60 cells carcinogenesis and pave the way to exploit drug precursor related to HHT and initiation of apoptosis in HL-60 cells.

OBJECTIVETo observe the images of early lesions of condylar cartilage of osteoarthritic rats in synchrotron radiation diffraction enhanced imaging (DEI).
METHODSThe animal model of temporomandibular joint osteoarthrosis was established in rat following the method of partial resection of the joint disc. The changes of osteoarthritic condylar cartilage in different pathological stages were observed by DEI and compared with those in situ histopathological sections.
RESULTSWith DEI, straight and orbicular lines were detected in condylar cartilage 45 to 60 days after discs resection. The lines were confirmed by histopathology to be collagen degradation and tiny fissure formation inside the cartilage.
CONCLUSIONSDEI is capable of imaging the early stages of pathological changes of excised condylar cartilage such as collagen degradation and tiny fissure formation, and this technique is of potential value to clinical application.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the CT image features of pneumonic-type lung cancer and to reduce misdiagnosis.
METHODSThe CT findings of 46 patients with pneumonic-type lung cancer were retrospectively reviewed, and CT image in the differential diagnosis of this special kind of disease was evaluated.
RESULTSAccording to the extent of lesion, these cases were divided into two groups: multi-lobe consolidation group and single lobe consolidation group. The lesions in the latter group located in the upper, middle or lower lobe, respectively. Twenty-nine cases had homogeneous consolidation lesion, 14 cases showed single or multiple cysts and cavities in the lesions, 3 cases exhibited localized low density in the lesion. Forty-one cases shown the sign of air bronchogram with presentation of narrow air bronchogram in 25 of those. Forty cases showed well or ill defined ground-glass opacitiy surrounding the consolidation lesion. Fifteen cases had multi-nodules or opacities distributed in centrilobular or centric bronchiolar location. Of the 30 patients who received contrast medium, 23 showed distinct enhancement, and 7 showed indistinct enhancement with a positive CT angiogram.
CONCLUSIONCT findings including lower lobe distribution, homogeneous consolidation, narrow air bronchogram, well defined ground-glass and CT angiogram are helpful in differentiating pneumonic-type lung cancer from various kinds of infection. However, most of CT manifestations of pneumonic-type lung cancer are not specific. Therefore, it's necessary to combine CT findings with other clinical data when making diagnosis.
