OBJECTIVE:To strength pharmacy management,improve pharmacy stocktaking efficiency and lower the error rate of the stocktaking in outpatient pharmacy.METHODS:Based on "Army No.1" inventory management system,the data were retrieved and adjusted using Excel spreadsheet,and the inter-district small-scale inventory table of the outpatient pharmacy was designed in which certain individuals should be responsible for certain drugs and the order of drugs in the inventory table were in line with the arrangement order of drugs.RESULTS:The new drug stocktaking model reduced the error rate of traditional monthly drug stocktaking by 3%.CONCLUSION:The established drug stocktaking method reduces human and material resources,facilitates a more flexible,convenient and rapid stocktaking,and greatly enhances the conformity rate between drugs and accounts.

Aim To evaluate the influence of asthma and the effect of anti-inflammation therapy on the quality of life (QOL) in allergic asthma patients. Methods The QOL of 45 patients with asthma were investigated by collecting questionnaire before and after three months anti-inflammation treatment , at the same time the serum eosinophil cationic protein(ECP) level was detected in 20 patients. The QOL questionnaire included 4 domains, they were respiratory symptoms, physical activity limitation, emotional function and environmental stimuli. Results The factors which influenced the QOL in asthma patients ranging from high to low were environmental stimuli, respiratory symptom and emotion function and physical activity limitation. Objective To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of immunosuppression regimens,postoperative complications,dead causes and risk factors of lung transplantation (LTx).Methods The immunosuppression regimens and clinical data of 100 patients with end-stage lung diseases receiving LTx in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed between Sept.2002 to Dec.2010.There were 72 patients subject to single LTx and 28 patients to bilateral LTx,amongst them 61 patients received LTx under circulation support,including 5 cases of cardopulmonary bypass (CPB) support and 56 cases of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support.The immunosuppression regimens including Cyclosporin,mycophemolate Mofeil and corticosteroids were utilized in 53 recipients before the year of 2007,and Cyclosporin was switched to Tacrolimus in 47 patients after 2007.All the patients received Daclizumab or Basiliximab as immunosuppression induction regimens.Results The 1-,2-,3-and 5-year survival rate after LTx was 73.3％,61.6％,53.5％ and 40.7％ respectively.The mean survival time post-transplant in the patients who received Cyclosporin-based regimens and Tacrolimus-based regimens were (36.57 ± 3.44) months and (35.00 ± 2.33) months,repectively,with no significant differences (P＞0.05).The main causes of mortality included primary graft dysfunction (PGD),acute rejection (AR),bronchiolitis obliterans (BOS) and sepsis.The incidence of AR and BOS in Tacrolimus group was significantly lower than that in Cyclosporin grou (P ＜0.05),but the incidence of diabetes mellitus was significantly higher in Tacrolimus group.Analysis of Spearman rank correlation revealed that there was a direct correlation between the incidence of AR and BOS (r =0.340,P＜0.01).The use of circulation support,diagnosis of IPF,postoperative complications such as AR,BOS and infection were associated with decreased survival time postoperatively,in both univariate and multivariate proportional hazards regression models (P＜0.05).Conclusion Cyclosporin-and Tacrolimus-based regimens were both effective immunosuppression strategies postoperatively,Consummate follow-up surveillance and prompt treatment of complications were the key points in prolongation of survival time and improving quality of life after LTx.

BACKGROUND: Most patients who underwent liver transplantation would suffer acute rejection or transplanted liver failure resulted by chronic rejection, therefore, inducing specific immune tolerance via varied pathways is the ideal method to solve this problem. OBJECTIVE: To treat rat transplanted liver by injecting transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β_1) plasmid, and to analyze the relationship between TGF-β1 and allograft rejection from gene level. METHODS: A total of 30 male, Wistar rats were served as allogenic liver donors, and 10 male, SD rats served as syngeneic donors Totally 40 male SD rats were served as liver recipients, and divided into 4 groups by order number table: ailogenic transplantation, syngeneic transplantation, ciclosporin, and ciclosporin plus TGF--β_1 groups. In each group, rat orthotopic liver transplantation model was established by modified Kamada and improved two-cuff technique. After modeling, rats were received cyclosporine 1-5 days in the cyclosporine group, or intraperitoneal injected ciclosporin for 1-5 days, combined with TGF-β_1 plasmid 0-2 days in the cyclosporine plus TGF-β_1 group. No intervention was performed in the other groups. The survival time of rats were recorded, and the pathological changes was detected at days 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 after transplantation, then the mixed lymphocyte culture was performed. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The survival time of rats in syngeneic transplantation group and cyclosporine plus TGF-1,β_1 group was more than 60 days, which was obviously greater than that of allogenic transplantation and cyclosporine groups (P< 0.05). The histopathologic slide showed that there was moderate and severe acute rejection, with evident intrahepatic inflammatory cell infiltration in the allogenic transplantation and cyclosporine groups. Few rejections were observed in the syngeneic transplantatior group, which was close to the normal lever tissues. Mixed lymphocyte culture of the cyclosporine plus TGF-β_1 group was superior to the syngeneic transplantation group or cyclosporine group (P < 0.05). The results demonstrated that cyclosporine combined with local injection of TGF-β_1 plasmid can relieve post-transplant immune rejection.

BACKGROUND: A small number of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) present in bone marrow, which would gradually drop with age. OBJECTIVE: To verify the effect of adherent method on culture of bone marrow-derived MSCs. METHODS: Under anaesthesia, bone marrow cells were obtained from femur and tibia of rats, cultured by DMEM containing calf serum, placed in an incubator containing 5% CO_2 at 37 ℃. The culture medium was renewed after 24 hours, and remained periodical medium change with once per week. The weakly adherent cells were passaged. The cell morphology, growth curve, and the expression of cell-surface markers were identified by flow cytometry and immunocytochemical staining. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: After 24 hours of culture, the cells could adhere to the walls with fusiform or triangle shapes, proliferated faster after 2-3 days, and presented whirlpool-like or clustering. The cells reached a logarithmic growth phase after 2 days, and into the late stationary phase after 12 days, which covered the bottle after 15 days. The cultured cells were positive to CD90 and CD54. The results verified that bone marrow-derived MSCs can be isolated by adherent method. This method is easy operation, and can maintain cell activity preferably.

BACKGROUND: During xenogenic liver transplantation, major histocompatibility antigen can induce immunological rejection, and immunosuppressant can cause adverse effect on organism. Recently, treatment prior to transplantation induces immune tolerance, which is perspective for organ transplantation.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between thymus induction and immunological rejection during liver transplantation. METHODS: A total of 40 male SD rats of clean grade were selected as donors. Moreover, 30 male Wistar rats of clean grade and 10 male SD rats of clean grade were selected as recipients. The donor rats were divided into allogeneic gene transplantation, allotransplantation, cyclosporine, and thymus induction groups, with 10 rats in each group. The modified Kamada and improved two-cuff technique was used to establish a stable rat orthotopic liver transplantation model. The cyclosporine group was given cyclosporine (50 mg/kg) for 5 successive days. Thymus induction group was injected with major histocompatibility antigens (50 pL) for 5 successive days. Other groups were not given any interventions. Survival time of rats was recorded in each group. Pathological observation and mixed lymphocyte cultured were performed at days 3, 7, 14, 21, and 28 after transplantation. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Survival time was longer in the thymus induced group compared with other groups (> 60 days), damaged level was mild, local immunological rejection was reduced, and lymphocytes were decreased. The effect after liver transplantation was similar to allogeneic gene transplantation but superior to cyclosporine intervention (P < 0.05). This suggested that thymus induction relieved immunological rejection following liver transplantation.

There are three major ways of for the treatments of post-stroke cognitive impairment.Medicine,acupuncture and the cognitive training is the most popular.Both clinical reports and experimental studies proved positive effect of acupuncture to post-stroke cognitive function impairment.There are more clinical reports and comprehensive mechanism studies on the Brain-activating and Orifice-opening Acupuncture than the other two popular treatments of acupuncture for cognitive function impairment.Acupuncture show positive effect on post-stroke cognitive function impairment.Further studies are required to validate whether acupuncture has better curative effect than cognitive training.

Objective To analyze the colonization of Candida, Rhodotorula, Penicillium and Aspergillus in skin surfaces of patients with atopic dermatitis, and to assess the relationship between the four common fungal allergens and severity of atopic dermatitis. Methods Fifty patients with atopic dermatitis and 20 healthy controls were enrolled. Scales were scraped from lesional and non?lesional skin of flexural extremities of the patients, as well as from normal skin of the flexural elbow of healthy controls, then were subjected to microscopic examination and culture. Scale specimens were inoculated onto Sabouraud dextrose agar medium and cultured at 25 ℃ in a constant temperature incubator. Subsequently, suspected fungal or yeast?like colonies were collected for pure culture. Finally, fungal strains were identified according to colony morphology, color, growth speed, as well as microscopic features of spores and hyphae. Results No hyphae or pseudohyphae were found in any case by microscopic examination. Candida albicans and Rhodotorula were detected in 29(58%)and 17(34%)out of the 50 patients, respectively, and in 5(25%)and 2 (10%) out of the 20 healthy controls, respectively. The detection rates of Candida albicans and Rhodotorula were significantly higher in the patients than in the controls(χ2=6.23, 4.10, respectively, both P<0.05). Of 25 patients with severe lesions, 19(76%)and 12(48%)were colonized by Candida albicans and Rhodotorula respectively;among 25 patients with moderate lesions, 10 (40%) and 5 (20%) were colonized by Candida albicans and Rhodotorula respectively. An increase was observed in the detection rates of Candida albicans and Rhodotorula in the patients with severe lesions compared with those with moderate lesions(χ2=6.65, 4.37, respectively, both P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the detection rate of Penicillium or Aspergillus between the patients and health controls. Conclusion The colonization rates of Candida albicans and Rhodotorula on skin surfaces were higher in patients with atopic dermatitis than in healthy controls, and higher in patients with severe lesions than in patients with moderate lesions, indicating that the types of colonizing fungi are associated with the health status of skin and severity of symptoms in patients with atopic dermatitis.
