Objective To investigate the role of CT three-dimensional reconstruction (3D-CT) in the diagnosis of bronchial foreign body. Methods Thirty-seven suspected pediatric cases of bronchial foreign bodies underwent CT scanning and 3D-CT reconstruction, whose accuracy was defined by bronchoscopical or surgical findings. Results For all the 37 cases, chest X-ray showed 8 cases (group A) had bronchial foreign body, while 29 cases(group B) were negative. In group A,CT findings suggested lung infection in 5 cases, congenital pulmonary dysplasia-lung lobe absence in 2 cases and tracheo-esophageal fistula in 1 case.In group B (29 patients),25 cases with bronchial foreign bodies were suspected by CT scanning and further bronchoscopical examination confirmed the existence of 24 cases of vegetable foreign body, one case of the tracheal tumor. For the four cases with negative result of bronchial foreign bodies after CT scanning, lung infection and laryngitis were confirmed in two cases respectively.Among the 24 surgically-confirmed cases of vegetable foreign bodies,CT scanning showed tracheobronchial foreign body in fourteen positive results, irregular tracheal stenosis in six cases and obstructive atelectasis, emphysema, pneumonia in seven each.Tracheobronchial foreign body and irregular tracheal stenosis were direct signs, accounting for 74%(20/27).Obstructive atelectasis, emphysema and pneumonia were indirect signs, accounting for 26%(7/27).Conclusion 3D-CT plays an important role in diagnosis and differential diagnosis of bronchial foreign body.

Objective According to the level of serum cystatin C (Cys-C)in patients with multiple myeloma (MM),to explore its significance of early assessment to renal damage. Methods To select 42 patients with MM(MM group) and 30 healthy subjects(control group),and measure serum Cys-C,creatinine (SCr) and β2-microglobulin (β2-MG).Results The level of serum Cys-C in MM group was significantly higher than that in control group [(2.34 ± 0.57) mg/L vs.(0.66 ± 0.12) mg/L],which increased with ISS stage[Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ stage was(1.77 ± 0.38),(2.11 ± 0.46),(3.14-± 1.07) mg/L](P< 0.05).Cys-C and β 2-MG,renal function had a positive correlation (r =0.760,0.694,P < 0.05).Conclusion The increasing of Cys-C in MM patients is related to impaired renal function and tumor burden, which can be used as an early assessment indicators.

With the rapid increase of the number of cardiovascular disease patients in China, and the popular trend of cardiovascular disease risk factors is becoming more and more obvious, the control of risk factors for cardiovascular disease has become an important public health problem as well as a great challenge to social and economic development. Recent studies show that resistance training plays a positive impact on the control of risk factors for cardiovascular disease. This article reviewed the related literature in recent years for the resistance training control risk factors of the cardiovascular disease, and stated the precautions and challenges during the process of the implementation of resistance training in order to provide new clues to the research and practice for control the risk factors of cardiovascular disease .

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2015;(3):209-213
Vertebral artery hypoplasia is a congenital vessel variation. Its incidence is from 1. 9 to 26. 5% . In recent years, studies have shown that vertebral artery hypoplasia may be a potential risk factor for posterior circulation infarction, especialy when it coexists with other cerebrovascular risk factors. Vertebral artery hypoplasia may also cause regional hypoperfusion and complex neurovascular regulation, and it also has a certaln link with migralne.

Objective To investigate effect of continuous veno-venous hemofiltration on treatment of children with acute re-spiratory distress syndrome .Methods A total of 84 cases of children with acute respiratory distress syndrome were divided into control group (n= 42) and observation group (n = 42) .Control group was given conventional therapy including etiological treat-ment ,mechanical ventilation ,fluid management and anti-inflammatory treatment .Besides conventional therapy similar to control group ,observation group was administrated continuous veno-venous hemofiltration .Gender ,age ,admission critical illness score (PICS) ,clinical manifestations ,blood gas indexes (PaO2 ,SaO2 ) and oxygenation index (OI = PaO2 /FiO2 ) before and after treat-ment ,duration of mechanical ventilation ,pediatric intensive care unit (ICU) hospitalization days and mortality in above two groups were analyzed retrospectively .Results There were not significant difference in gender ,age and admission critical illness score (PICS) of two groups(P> 0 .05) .PaO2 ,SaO2 and OI of observation group were higher than that of control group in the third and fifth day after treatment (P < 0 .05) .The average ICU hospitalization day of observation group was shorter than that of control group (P< 0 .05) .Mortality of observation group was lowered compared with control group (P< 0 .05) .Conclusion Veno-venous hemofiltration could effectively reduce duration of mechanical ventilation and mortality in treatment of children with acute respirato -ry distress syndrome ,which is worth clinical popularization .

Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2003;46(5):1064-1068
Myasthenia gravis is a autoimmune neuromuscular disorder characterized by weakness and fatigability of skeletal muscles. The underlying defect is a decrease in the number of available acetylcholine receptors at neuromuscular junction due to an antibody-mediated autoimmune attacks. The course of myasthenia gravis during pregnancy is not predictable. We experienced a patient of myasthenia gravis associated with pregnancy who underwent cesarean section and transient neonatal myasthenia gravis of the newborn. We present this case with brief review of the concerned literatures.

Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2003;46(11):2287-2290
Primary ovarian pregnancy is comparatively rare in ectopic pregnancy. Ovarian pregnancy occurs in corpus luteum cyst and is usually accompanied with the rupture of ovary and a massive hemoperitoneum. It presents as a hemorrhagic ovary and frequently misdiagnosed as a ruptured corpus luteum. Spiegelberg's criteria should be fulfilled for the diagnosis of ovarian pregnancy. Two cases of ovarian pregnancy were presented with a brief review of the literatures.

PURPOSE: There has been little research regarding the effectiveness of oseltamivir for influenza B infections. We sought to identify the different clinical manifestations between patients treated with and without oseltamivir. METHODS: We retrospectively studied the medical records of 72 inpatients or outpatients from two medical centers diagnosed with influenza B infections by either a rapid antigen test or multiplex reverse transcriptase PCR between January 2012 and July 2012. We compared gender, age, past medical history, admission period, total fever duration, fever duration after hospitalization, post-oseltamivir medication peak temperature, laboratory test, chest X-ray, antibiotic medication, and the presence of concomitant viral or bacterial infections. RESULTS: The number of subjects in our study was 72 who were diagnosed with influenza B pneumonia, acute bronchitis, acute bronchiolitis, croup, and mean age was 3.6+/-2.8 year old. The demographic characteristics and clinical manifestations of oseltamivir and the non-oseltamivir groups, including hospitalization period (4.18+/-2.10 vs 4.79+/-1.49 days, P=.17) and total fever duration (5.32+/-2.07 vs 6.41+/-3.25 days, P=.09), demonstrated no significant differences. Notably, the oseltamivir group did have significantly reduced usage of antibiotic treatment than the non-oseltamivir group (P=.04). When we limited our patient group to patients under the age of three, similar results were seen. The group prescribed oseltamivir within 48 hours of fever onset had less antibiotic usage, in addition to a shorter fever duration. CONCLUSION: Oseltamivir appeared to have no benefit in improving the clinical course. However, if it is prescribed within the first 48 hours of symptoms, it may be more effective.
