1.Structural Relationship of Variables Regarding Nurse's Preventive Action against Needle Stick Injury.
Journal of Korean Academic Society of Nursing Education 2015;21(2):168-181
PURPOSE: This study was conducted to determine the factors affecting the prevention of needle stick injury. METHODS: Data collection was conducted during the period July 15-31, 2013 by a self-administered questionnaire involving 220 nurses working in 7 hospitals. The data was analyzed by SPSS v18 and AMOS v18. RESULTS: Actions by nurses to prevent needle stick injury were directly and indirectly influenced by perceived benefits, attitude toward the behavior, perceived behavioral control, and intention underlying the behavior. Specially, perceived behavioral control is verified to have not only direct influence but also indirect influence on the performance of preventive action through the intention underlying the behavior. Also, perceived benefits indirectly influence the intention toward the behavior and performance of preventive action through attitude toward the behavior and perceived behavioral control. The predictor variables in this model are 52% explicable in terms of intention of prevention action against needle stick injury, and 66% explicable in terms of performance of preventive action. CONCLUSION: To ensure high performance of preventive action against needle stick injury, constructing not only the solution that inspires the intention toward behavior but also a system that can positively solve and improve obstructive factors in behavioral performance is of primary importance.

The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1998;33(1):24-28
Despite continually improving results of total hip arthroplasty, infection remains the major debilitating complication. The treatments of infected total hip arthroplasty were variable. but initially we removed infected implants and inserted antibiotic containing cemented spacer so called PRSTALAC to prevent scar contracture and disuse osteoporosis. After 6 weeks later, control of infection was clinically and radiologically determined, we inserted new prosthesis with cement. Three weeks postoperatively, patient began touch down standing exercise. We observed infected total hip patient in whom hip had been salvaged successfuily with twostage implantation using so called "" PROSTALAC "" which was made with Moore stem.

5.Affecting Factors of Small and Medium-sized Hospital Nurses’ Intention on Retention: Focused on Resilience and Followership
Journal of Korean Clinical Nursing Research 2022;28(2):177-184
Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships between variables and factors affecting the intention on retention of nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals.
Methods:
The participants of this study were 203 nurses working in six small and medium-sized hospitals, and data was collected from August 15 to August 30, 2019 using a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression using IBM SPSS/WIN 24.0.
Results:
As a result of the study, intention on retention was positively correlated with resilience (r=.40, p<.05) and followership (r=.38, p<.05). Affecting factors of the intention on retention were marital state (married) (β=.21, p=.001), resilience (β=.22, p=.016), and active engagement as a subcartegory of followership (β=.19, p=.034), and the variables explained 20.8% of the nurses’ intention on retention.
Conclusion
In order to increase the intention on retention of small and medium-sized hospitals nurses, it is necessary to provide an environment in which small and medium-sized hospital nurses are able to have active engagement and independent thinking and to develop a program to promote their resilience.
6.Career choice experiences of nursing students
Journal of Korean Academic Society of Nursing Education 2022;28(2):127-136
Purpose:
The purpose of this study was to describe the career choice experiences of nursing students.
Methods:
A phenomenological approach was used for the study. Data were collected from September 1 to October 1, 2021, using open-ended questions in-depth interviews. Ten nursing students who had decided to find a job or complete an application to an employment institution participated in this study.
Results:
The four categories obtained as results were “Preparing myself,” “Chosen after conflict,” “Going through a tough tunnel and settling down,” and “Waiting with anticipation and worry.”
Conclusion
This study explored the meaning and essence of the career choice experiences of nursing students. These results will provide basic data that can help nursing students make career choices.

Korean Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2003;46(7):1445-1452
The prenatal diagnosis of spina bifida includes the combined use of maternal serum alpha-fetoprotein (MSAFP) screening and fetal sonography. On ultrasonogram, spina bifida is characterizd by visualization of the spinal defect and associated cranial abnomalities: the Lemon sign, the Banana sign, ventriculomegaly, small biparietal diameter, and obliteration of the cisterna magna. We should now be able to rely on ultrasound as the main technique for diagnosis of spina bifida when MSAFP is elevated. Recently, we have experienced three cases of spina bifida diagnosed with meningomyelocele, lemon sign, banana sign and ventriculomegaly on ultrasonogram at respectively 18+3, 18, and 18+6 weeks of gestation. We present these cases with a brief review of literatures.

Osteogenesis imperfecta is a heterogeneous group of disorders that are characterized by connective tissue defects resulting in bone fragility, blue sclera, impaired hearing, defective dentition, and hyperlaxibility of the joints. The overall incidence of osteogenesis imperfecta is estimated at 1/25,000. We recently experienced a case of osteogenesis imperfecta type II diagnosed in uterus by ultrasonogram and confirmed after termination of pregnancy and autopsy. We report a case here with a brief review of the literature.

10.The Muscular Branch of the Radial Nerve to the Brachialis Muscle in Korean.
Korean Journal of Physical Anthropology 2002;15(2):127-131
Most textbooks describe the brachialis muscle is innervated by the musculocutaneous and radial nerves. This study was performed to clarify the incidence and morphology of the branch of the radial nerve to the brachialis muscle. Eighty sides of 40 adult Korean cadavers were used in this study. The incidence of the radial nerve to the brachialis muscle was 75% of 80 sides and the radial nerve was innervated bilaterally in 65% (26 sides). The number of the branch arising from the radial nerve was one (65%), two (31.7%) or three (3.3%). The average distance from the lateral epicondyle to the branch arising from the radial nerve was 68.5 mm (range: 4 ~126 mm). The brachialis muscle received a branch from radial nerve, through a descending branch (58.5%), a transverse branch (26.8%) or an ascending branch (14.6%). A branch of the radial nerve was usually divided into one or two branches (79.3%) before piecing the brachialis muscle. The average distance from the lateral epicondyle to the perforating point of the branch was 52.4 mm (range: 3 ~123 mm). The branch of the radial nerve penetrated inferior and middle third of the brachialis muscle in 44.2% and 53.2% respectively.
