Korean Journal of Dermatology 1995;33(2):396-400
A 58-year-old male presented with a pruritic, erythematous hread-like eruption on the right chest, which appeared as a small papule since 6 months prior to his visit. Histopathologic examination showed a burrow containing numerous eosinophiles and a few mononuclear cells in the epidermis. There was focal spongiosis unde the burrow. In the dermis, there was a diffuse and occasionally dense perivascular and periadnx 1 inflammatory cell infiltration consisting of eosinophiles and some lymphocytes. Multiple histologic sections were made without success in deizo strating parasitic tissue in the epidermis, however, the clinical and histopathologic features we onsistent with cutaneous larva migrans.

5.Diabetic Neuroarthropathy: 2 cases report
Jae Yoon CHUNG ; Jang Won KIM ; Hong Joo LEE
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1977;12(1):71-74
Neuroarthropathy has infrequently been associated with diabetic patients. The initial presenting symptoms are in most cases the peripheral neuropathy involving chiefly the sensory components of peripheral nerves, leading to numbness, hyper-or paresthesia, and coldness of the extremity affected. The diabetic arthropathy, once occurred, is apt to show progressive deterioration of the function with destruction of both skeletal and supporting soft tissues Two cases of such arthropathy were presented here, the one was observed in a 29-year-old man with involvement of the left fourth and fifth tarsometatarsal joints and a large ulcer on the dorsal skin of the lesion, and the other in a 35-year-old man with destruction of the right ankle joint. Both of them showed remarkable remission of the symptoms with conservative measures such as arch support, cast immobilization and skin graft.

Annals of Dermatology 2000;12(4):280-282
Dermoid cysts develop from sequestration of epithelium along lines of embryonic fusion. The most common locations are the lateral third of the eyebrows, nose, and scalp. These cysts are located in the subcutis; they are often adherent to periosteum, and may invade or erode underlying bane. A 34-year-old female presented with a solitary, skin colored, dome-shaped, child fistsized, subcutaneous mass on her right occiput. At operation, keratinous material was discharged and tufts of hair projected from opening of the cyst wall. The base of the cyst was firmly adherent to periosteum and diffuse depression with focal deep erosions of the outer table of skull was found.
