Korean Journal of Dermatology 1972;10(3):191-195
Hodgkin's disease, as a poly-morphous group of lymphoma, is a disease of reticuloendothelial system, skin and usually affects the lymph node and so primarily, predominantly by proliferation of lymphocyte and histiocyte. This patient is a 42 years old Housewife who was suffered from severe itching sensation on the entire body since she had illed with exfoliative decmatitis, 7 years ago. Skin lesion showed brownish colored hyperpigmentation on entire body, scattered or grouped lichenified patch with scale on extremities and hypertrophy on the palms and soles. On physical examination, she had a egg-sized, right cervical lymph node swelling and chestnut sized, left cervical lymph node swelling without pain. On laboratory findings showed within normal limits. Sternal bone marrow aspiration revealed nonspecifie findings. A chest X-Ray revealed mass shadow on right upper mediastinum. Histologically finding of the skin revealed nonspecific dermatitis picture. On diagnostic excisional biopsy of left cervical lymph node showed numerous Hodgkin's cell Liver scanning didn't show space occeuying lesion. Above as a result, by clinical manifestation, X-ray findings and histological findings of cervical lymph-node, the diagnosis of Hodgkins disease with nonspecific dermatitis was confirmed. Literature was briefly reviewed for the discussion of clinical and histological findings of this dlsease.

Annals of Dermatology 2000;12(3):218-221
Postoperative (pressure) alopecia is the temporary or permanent loss of hair that occurs following a prolonged immobilization during and/or after general anesthesia and intubation. The cause is considered to be pressure-induced ischemia. Although not an uncommon condition, it is frequently overlooked as a minor complication relative to a causative surgical procedure. We report a 22-year-old woman who was presented with focal hair loss of two weeks' duration after a 9-hour operation for a left brachial plexus injury. Histopathologic examination showed that nearly all terminal follicles were in catagen phase with marked atrophic change of subcutaneous fat.

Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1990;10(2):321-330
Peptic ulcer can occur anywhere in the gastrointestinal tract that contact with acid and pepsin. But usually peptic ulcer occurs at the stomach and duodenum and the location of peptic ulcer are localized to specific area within the stomach and duodenum. So I think that predilection of peptic ulcer to localized area may have clue for releaving the pathogenesis of peptic ulcer. So I studied the location of peptic ulcer for the basic reserch of ulcer pathogenesis by means of dividing stomach into antrum, angle, lower body, middle body, upper body and lesser curvature, anterior wall, greater curvature, posterior wall and duodenum into anterior wall, lesser curvature, posterior wall, and greater curvature. The results obtained were as follows: 1) The chronic gastric ulcer was most common in the angle of lesser curvature (22.9%) and second common in the antrum of lesser curvature (22.3%). 2) The location of chronic and acute gastric ulcer was similar. 3) The proximal migration of ulcer site according to increasing age was not observed. 4) Chronic duodenal ulcer was occurred commonly in the lesser curvature (41.8%) and anterior wall (38.3%). 5) As the age increase, the incidence of chronic duodenal ulcer in the lesser curvature was increased and that of chronic duodemal ulcer in the anterior wall was decreased. 6) Acute ulcer of stomach and duodenum has no predilection site.
