Renal agenesis is a relatively rare congenital anomaly. The frequent difficulty in establishing a definite diagnosis of renal agenesis is emphasized. Recently we experienced 2 cases of renal agenesis in 24-year-old male patients, so we report these 2 cases of renal agenesis with review of literatures.

Korean Journal of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy 1994;14(4):425-429
Trminal ileum and cecum are the most frequently involved portions of the gastrointestinal tract in Behqet's disease. Esophageal involvement in Behqet's disease is very uncommon and only a few cases have previously been reported. We have observed a case with this disease. A 25-year-old female patient who was diagnosed as having Behqet's disease 7 years before had dysphagia and weight loss of about 10 kg for 4 months. Esophagogastroduodenoscopic examination revealed diffuse ulceration and mucosal nodularities in esophagus which suspected esophageal cancer. But repeated biopsies showed lymphocytic infiltration around vessels in ulcerative lesions. She was treated with conservative managements.

Cleidocranial dysostosis is a rare congenital developmental disorder in which membranous bones fail to ossify sufficiently, particularily in the calvarium and the clavicles where fibrous tissue replaces the bone. Authors report two cases of cleidocranial dysostosis occurred in a 44-year-old woman and her 19-year-old son.

Psychiatry Investigation 2015;12(1):23-28
OBJECTIVE: The aim was to establish an optimal cut-off score of the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) for detecting depression and rating severity in Korean adolescents. METHODS: A total of 468 students aged 12-16 years from 8 middle schools in Busan, Korea participated in this study. The Korean version of the CDI and Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia Present and Lifetime Version were used to evaluate depressive symptoms. Receiver-operating characteristics (ROC) analyses were conducted to evaluate case-finding performance and set the cut-off scores. RESULTS: ROC analyses demonstrated that the overall discrimination power of the CDI is good enough to evaluate adolescent depression. The CDI sum score of 20 was identified as the optimal screening cut-off score, where sensitivity was 0.83 and specificity was 0.89. This cut-off score could apply regardless of subjects' gender. The cut-off scores were examined in order of the depression severity: 15 for mild, 20 for moderate, and 25 for severe depression with high sensitivity and specificity. CONCLUSION: The CDI cut-off scores of our study can be recommended for screening depressed youth and rating the severity of depressive symptoms. The high negative predictive value suggested that the cut-off score of 20 would result in a small number of missed cases. Further studies are needed to ascertain these CDI cut-off scores for different age groups.

When teeth are extracted, patient face social, psychological and aesthetic problems which can be minimized by fabricating a interim immediate denture. Interim immediate denture manufactured using digital technology can be completed with reduced number of patients’ visits and simple laboratory process. Implant-supported removable partial denture (ISRPD) has been suggested as alternative treatment option when fixed implant prosthesis is not feasible. In this case, interim immediate dentures were fabricated using digital technology for patient after teeth extraction and treatment using ISRPD by installing implants and surveyed crowns is found to be successful with better support, stability and maintenance of removable partial dentures.
