2.Optimization of the database of the hospital information system and improvement of its performance.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2008;32(1):58-61
Optimization of the hospital information system (HIS) and its improvement method have been discussed in this paper. Our method is to divide the whole database into two separate sub-databases, one is for daily operation, and another is for query. We keep the daily-operation-database in a fixed size by deleting the historical data within a fixed time. So the hospital information system can run quickly, having a higher efficiency and a better safety.

4.The optimal design of the interface system between the hospital & the medical insurance institution.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2005;29(3):222-224
This paper tells you how to build a faster and more reliable interface system between the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) in the hospital and the Medical Insurance Information System (MIIS) in the Medical Insurance Affairs Management Center (MIAMC). The data standards of the hospital and MIAMC should be integrated in order to reduce the unnecessary real-time transmission, so as to establish and perfect the operation mode in offline status, and to improve the performance of the communication servers. Thus, it would be a more efficient software interface system with a higher bandwidth between HMIS and MIIS. The working efficiency of the interface system and the accuracy of the balance data in the MIAMC are increased while the dependence on the inter-network communication is decreased with an improvement of the reliability and suitability of the interface system.

OBJECTIVETo meet the needs of clinical practice of rescuing critical illness and develop the information management system of the emergency medicine.
METHODSMicrosoft Visual FoxPro, which is one of Microsoft's visual programming tool, is used to develop computer-aided system included the information management system of the emergency medicine.
RESULTSThe system mainly consists of the module of statistic analysis, the module of quality control of emergency rescue, the module of flow path of emergency rescue, the module of nursing care in emergency rescue, and the module of rescue training. It can realize the system management of emergency medicine and, process and analyze the emergency statistical data.
CONCLUSIONSThis system is practical. It can optimize emergency clinical pathway, and meet the needs of clinical rescue.

9.How to establish the hospital information system security policies.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2008;32(2):124-130
It is important to establish the hospital information system security policies. While these security policies are being established, a comprehensive consideration should be given to the acceptable levels of users, IT supporters and hospital managers. We should have a formal policy designing process that is consistently followed by all security policies. Reasons for establishing the security policies and their coverage and applicable objects should be stated clearly. Besides, each policy should define user's responsibilities and penalties of violation. Every organization will need some key policies, such as of information sources usage, remote access, information protection, perimeter security, and baseline host/device security. Security managing procedures are the mechanisms to enforce the policies. An incident-handling procedure is the most important security managing procedure for all organizations.

10.The Effect of Hospital SCM on Logistics Performance.
Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing Administration 2011;17(3):284-292
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationships among quality of hospital SCM (system quality, information quality, service quality), perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and logistics performance by hospital staff. METHODS: A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 276 hospital staff. Analysis of the data was with both SPSS Win 18.0 for descriptive statistics and AMOS 8.0 for the structural equation model. RESULTS: The hypothetical model yielded Chi-square=8.121 (p=.087), df=4, chi2/df=2.030. GFI=.989, AGFI=.942, RMSEA=.066, NFI=.995, CFI=.997 TLI=.990 and showed good fit indices. Three dimensions of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on perceived usefulness. System and service of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. Perceived usefulness had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. User satisfaction had significant direct effects on logistics performance. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that logistics performance can be enhanced by user satisfaction, user satisfaction can be enhanced by perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness can be enhanced by quality of hospital SCM. Further study with various hospitals and various variables is necessary.
