2.IHE ITI-ATNA profile-based solution for the security of regional healthcare information sharing.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2008;32(5):332-336
In designing and implementing regional healthcare information sharing systems, the security problem is a very important issue. According to the Audit Trail and Node Authentication (ATNA) Profile of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) and the practical experiences in several hospitals in Shanghai, a Proxy/Server based security solution for the integration of regional healthcare information sharing systems is proposed, which can solve the cross-platform security problems of integration, providing some security measures such as Central User Authentication, Audit Trail and Node Authentication.

4.Lexical gap and translation of traditional Chinese medical terms.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2007;27(3):272-273
The phenomenon of lexical gap, a commonly encountered problem in cross-cultural communication, often causes trouble to translation in cross-cultural communication. The author analyzes the phenomenon of lexical gap in the English translation of traditional Chinese medical terms from the viewpoint of TCM culture, and puts forward the principles for their translation, that is, equivalence translation, equivalence in meaning translation and transliteration.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2019;43(4):310-312
JCI standard is the most professional and authoritative certification standard of medical quality and safety system in the world. HRP information system is a systematic hospital resource management platform which integrates the existing hospital information resources and establishes a set of unified, efficient, interconnected and information sharing operation and management of the hospital. In order to meet the requirements of closed-loop management of implantable medical devices in the JCI standard, our hospital has established a set of standards which based on the HRP system platform, including access permission, purchase application, entering and leaving the warehouse, bookkeeping charge, cost accounting and postoperative traceability of implanted medical device management system. HRP system improves the management level of implantable medical devices, and realizes the closed-loop management of the whole process of implantable medical devices.

7.Effects of Reminiscence Therapy on Depressive Symptoms in Older Adults with Dementia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Journal of Korean Academy of Nursing 2019;49(3):225-240
PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of reminiscence therapy on depressive symptoms in older adults with dementia using a systematic review and meta-analysis. METHODS: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from January 2000 to January 2018 were searched through Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS), Korean Medical Database (KMbase), KoreaMed, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), and Ovid MEDLINE. Two researchers independently performed the search, selection, and coding. Comprehensive Meta-Analysis 3.0 was used for meta-analysis, and Review Manager program 5.3 was used for quality assessment. RESULTS: Out of the 1,250 retrieved articles, 22 RCTs were selected for analysis. The overall effect size of reminiscence therapy for mitigating depressive symptoms in older adults with dementia was −0.62 (95% Cl: −0.92 to −0.31). The effect size was greater in older adults under 80, those with less disease severity, and those for whom the therapy session lasted less than 40 minutes. CONCLUSION: Reminiscence therapy is an effective non-pharmacological therapy to improve depressive symptoms in older adults with dementia. Because its effectiveness is also influenced by age, disease severity, and application method, it is necessary to consider treatment designs based on individual characteristics as well as methodological approaches.

8.Editing, Publishing and Aggregating Video Articles: Do We Need a Scholarly Approach?.
Reza ASSADI ; Armen Yuri GASPARYAN
Journal of Korean Medical Science 2015;30(9):1211-1212
The article supports the idea of providing infrastructure and training for preparing and publishing quality video articles. Properly edited, formatted, and verified video items can present graphic contents of interest to the global scientific community. It is suggested to apply traditional attributes of scholarly articles to video items and aggregate them on a specifically designed editing, publishing, and indexing platform, called PubTube. As a mega platform, PubTube may provide space for a variety of open-access sources of information, ranging from short audio-video presentations to research protocols and educational lectures. Video articles on the platform have to pass quality checks by skilled reviewers. Global editorial associations should be prepared to improving the whole process of publishing and aggregating video articles.

9.Ten Tips for Authors of Scientific Articles.
Journal of Korean Medical Science 2014;29(8):1035-1037
Writing a good quality scientific article takes experience and skill. I propose 'Ten Tips' that may help to improve the quality of manuscripts for scholarly journals. It is advisable to draft first version of manuscript and revise it repeatedly for consistency and accuracy of the writing. During the drafting and revising the following tips can be considered: 1) focus on design to have proper content, conclusion, points compliant with scope of the target journal, appropriate authors and contributors list, and relevant references from widely visible sources; 2) format the manuscript in accordance with instructions to authors of the target journal; 3) ensure consistency and logical flow of ideas and scientific facts; 4) provide scientific confidence; 5) make your story interesting for your readers; 6) write up short, simple and attractive sentences; 7) bear in mind that properly composed and reflective titles increase chances of attracting more readers; 8) do not forget that well-structured and readable abstracts improve citability of your publications; 9) when revising adhere to the rule of 'First and Last' - open your text with topic paragraph and close it with resolution paragraph; 10) use connecting words linking sentences within a paragraph by repeating relevant keywords.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(4):788-792
The hospital information structure, which is made up of various medical business systems, is suffering from the problems of the "information isolated island". Medical business systems in the hospital are mutually isomerous and difficult to become a whole. How to realize the internal barrier-free interaction of the patients effective medical information in the hospital and further to complete the area sharing of patients longitudinal diagnosis and treatment information has become a question having to be solved urgently in the process of healthcare informatization. Based on the HL7 standard, this paper refers to the IHE technical framework, expounds the overall structure of the interaction in the hospital internal and area sharing of medical information with the medical information exchange platform. The paper also gives the details of the whole process of the complete display of the discrete patient health information using Portal technology, which is saved in the business systems in different hospitals. It interacts internally through the information exchange platform and at last stores the information in the regional clinical data repository (CDR).
