2.Study on the drying method of the luminal machine
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2016;32(3):194-195
Objective To investigate the method of the operation of the tube type, improve the drying efficiency, and control the occurrence of infection in hospital, reduce the energy consumption. Methods Devices with full automatic washing machine washing out the lumen of 600 pieces were divided into control group and two experimental group by random digital table method each group was 200 pieces, respectively, and using dumped water before drying, luminal devices placed in different position and different container among the three groups in 90 ℃ drying 30 minutes after lumen devices to compare the drying effect. Results At the dry temperature 90℃,the same drying time of 30 minutes, the rate of drying qualified of the experimental group 2 was 100.0% (200/200),which was higher than 82.5% (165/200) of the experimental group 1,the difference was statistically significant (x2=38.356,P < 0.05);and also higher than 21% (42/200) of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (x2=261.157,P < 0.05).Conclusions The new drying operation method can improve the drying efficiency of the tube type, and control the risk of inffection in the hospital.
3.Effect of streptozotoxin-induced diabetes on cAMP-mediated dilation in rat small coronary arteries
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
AIM: To study the effect of streptozotoxin-induced diabetes on cAMP-mediated dilation of rat small coronary arteries (RSCA). METHODS: The diabetes models were induced by injection of streptozotoxin (STZ) to tail vein. The dilation of RSCA was examined by videomicroscopy measurement. RESULTS: (1) STZ diabetes reduced dilation induced by isoproterenol (ISO), operating through cAMP mechanism, in RSCA. This response was in a dose-dependent manner and endothelium-independent relation. (2) STZ diabetes reduced response of RSCA to adenylyl cyclase agonist forskolin and to adenylyl cyclase inhibitor SQ 22536. (3) The 4-aminopyridine, a Kv channel blocker of vascular smooth muscle, suppressed the dilation induced by ISO and forskolin in RSCA of STZ diabetes. (4) The NaF, a G-protein stimulator, reduced the response in RSCA of STZ diabetes. CONCLUSIONS: Although it is known that diabetes impairs endothelium-dependent vasodilation, the effect of diabetes on dilation mechanism independent of endothelium is not well understood. In the present study, it is demonstrated that dilation is reduced in STZ rat small coronary arteries via cAMP signal mechanism and Kv channel of vascular smooth muscle. The G-protein is able to influence this dilation mechanism.
4.Clinical value of rapid detection method in pathogens of respiratory tract infection
International Journal of Laboratory Medicine 2017;38(2):179-181
Objective To explore the clinical application value of rapid detection method for respiratory tract influenza virus and mycoplasma pneumonia(MP).Methods 386 cases were selected from patients with respiratory infections in our hospital from Janu-ary 2011 to December 2015 in the study, nasopharyngeal secretions A,B influenza virus were detected by gold immunchromato-graphic assay, the Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)was detected by rapid culture, and pathogens-IgM were detected by immunofluo-rescence assay. In the end,the two rapid detection detection method were compared with immunofluorescence assay. Results 386 cases of respiratory tract infections patients were detected by immunofluorescence assay,54 cases were found influenza A virus in-fection,the positive rate was 13.59%,37 cases were found influenza B virus infection, the positive rate was 9.59%,61 cases were found MP infection, the positive rate was 15.80%.In detections of influenza A virus infection and influenza B virus infection,im-munchromatographic assay sensitivity were 20.37%,18.92% and specificity were 93.41%,92.77%.In detection of MP infection, rapid culture sensitivity was 37.70% and specificity was 89.85%.Conclusion Rapid detection of respiratory influenza virus,MP infection sensitivity is low, only as a supplementary means of indirect immunofluorescence assay clinically.
5.A systematic review on the management of osseous defects during dental implant placement
Annals of Dentistry 2009;16(1):24-30
This systematic review focuses on the management of
two types of osseous defects, i.e. dehiscence and
fenestration that arise during the placement of dental
implant in the edentulous area (delayed implant
placement). A systematic online search of main
database from 1975 to 2009 was made. Five
randomised controlled trials have been identified based
on the inclusion criteria. Different management
procedures were identified, in which guided bone
regeneration procedure was most commonly advocated.
Resorbable and non-resorbable m'embranes were
compared, in which resorbable membrane was
preferred as it caused less complicatiQn of membrane
exposure or risk of infection. The benefit of using bone
substitute along with membrane in rypairing bony
defects cannot be concluded.
6.Research progress in the mechanism of selenium supplement therapy for thyroid associated ophthalmopathy
Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2017;35(9):857-861
Thyroid associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) is an organ-specific autoimmune-inflammatory disorder, ranking top among the orbital diseases with highest incidences.TAO is characterized by a complex pathogenesis, including glycosaminoglycan and hyaluronic acid deposition, fibrosis of extraocular muscle and adipose degeneration of ocular tissue. The physical manifestations of the disease include periorbital edema, double vision, ophthalmoptosis, ocular dryness, eyelid retraction and on occasion vision loss secondary to optic nerve compression.Selenium evolves in the diversified pathogenesis of TAO.Although the therapeutic effects for TAO of selenium have already been proven, some problems appear to be no clear among the clinicians, such as its optimum dose, duration of the treatment, and safety to date, etc.Nowadays, the mechanism of selenium supplementation in TAO treatment includes neutralization of reactive oxygen, inhibition of HLA-DR expression, inhibition of secretion of TSHR-Ab and TPO-Ab.The aim of the review was to summarize the studies of selenium supplementation theray for TAO.
