4.Transabdominal Ultrasonography of Seminal Vesicles with Combined Use of Electronic Linear Probe and Mechanical Sector Scanner.
Korean Journal of Urology 1987;28(1):19-26
Transabdominal scan of seminal vesicles with combined use of electronic linear probe and mechanical sector scanner was performed on normal adults and patients with seminal vesicular disease. The images of seminal vesicles were demonstrated easily through the multidirectional and multirotational handling of the scanners on the lower abdomen. The Ultrasonographic interpretation of the size, shape and contour of seminal vesicles together with the display of the internal structures within seminal vesicles was proved to be useful in the diagnosis of seminal vesicular diseases, particularly in the screening of underlying lesions of patients with hematospermia. The method is simple, atraumatic, and requires no special apparatus. It is concluded that the method is useful for the screening examination of seminal vesicular diseases.

5.The Use of the Longitudinal Traction and Anterior Spinal Fusion in A Patient with the Tuberculous Kyphosis
Moon Sang CHUNG ; Moon Sik HAHN
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1978;13(3):479-482
The beneficial effect of the longitudinal traction-either halo-femoral or halo-pelvic and the anterior spinal fusion in some spinal disorders is well documented. This paper is a report of a patient who is suffering from spine tuberculosis with severe kyphosis and incomplete paraplegia. He was treated satisfactorily by applying a Crutchfield tong-femoral traction for four weeks followed by anterior spinal fusion. It is authors concept that the early cases of the active spine tuber-culosis with advancing kyphosis can be effectively treated by using the above mentioned method without introducing more complicated combination of the spinal osteotomy, halo-pelvic distraction and spinal fusion.

10.Herpes zoster Ophthalmicus Complicated by Acute Glaucoma.
Journal of the Korean Ophthalmological Society 1972;13(2):83-85
We reported the case of Mr. M.H. Lee aged 46 years, who was first seen March. 4, 1972. The Chief complaint was pain on the left forehead and nausea for one day. Tension with the Schiotz tonometer was 45mmHg. The skin of left side of the forehead, inside of the eyebrow, left side of the radix nasi and nostril showed irregular papule formation in small circumscribed areas 2 days after admission. Acute iritis finding was occurred 6 days after the onset. The clinical course was one month. Sensitivity of the cornea was recovered and vision was improved to normal without posterior synechia or corneal ulcer.
