1.A Clinical and Pathological Observation of Microinvasive Carcinoma of Cervix.
Korean Journal of Gynecologic Oncology and Colposcopy 1993;4(4):20-31
The transition from preinvasive to invasive disease is a crucial juncture in the development of cervical cancer. The clinical experience that microvasive lesions carry a better prognosis justifies a sepetate diagnostic category. Besides clinical and cliagmostic problerns, the rnicroinvasive cervical cancer presents morphological peculiarities. To investigate the clinieal and pethological aspects of micrenvasive eervical carcinornn, a retrospective study was made on 40 cases, histologically reconfirrned surgical specimens, which had been treated during the period from March, 198I3 to March, 1992 at, Departrnent of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pusan Paik Hospital, Inje University. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. Mean age of 40 patents was 44.6 year old, all were rnultipatous. Nineteen cases helonged to I s, and 21 cases to I a2. 2. Main presenting symptoms were leukorr hea and/or genital bleeding and the majority of patients showed cervical erosion on groas finding, 3. The corresponding rate of Pap, smear to histologic diagnosis was approximately 67.5%, However, corresponding rate within one histologie grade was about 85%. 4, Aecording to the eolpuacapie examination, less than half of the examined cases revealed suspected abnormal findings suggeeting invasive lesion. 5. As to the reports of punch biopsy, 64.8% of cases showed microinvasive and/or inuasive lesian. With additional diagnostic conization of cervix, the preoperative diagnosis were correct in 82.5%. 6. Histopathological reevaluatin ef surgiral specimens revealed positive correlation between depth of stromal invasion and width of leaior, confluent growth pattern, numher of invasive foci, and invasion of capillary-like spaee, respectively.

Journal of the Korean Radiological Society 1992;28(4):527-530
Measurement of various portions of the corpus callosum was performed on magnetic resonance(MR) images of 114 subjects with no known or suspected corpus callosal disorders. Midsagittal T1-weighted images used for measurements and mean diameters of various portions in each age and sex group were obtained. Measures of five portions were made : (A) the anterio-posterior length, (B) the diameter of genu portion, (C) the diameter of splenium, (D) the diameter of and mid-body portion, (E) the diameter of narrow portion at the body of corpus callosum. The mean diameter in each gender group for A, B, C, D, and E were 68.8mm, 12.1mm, 12.3mm, 6.9mm, 4.1mm in male and 69.9mm, 12.0mm, 12.1mm, 6.4mm, 4.1mm in female, respectively. The groups of 0-9 years of both genders showed the minimum mean value in each portion.

4.An Experimental Study on Comedogenic effect of Various Korean Cosmetocs.
Korean Journal of Dermatology 1978;16(4):273-279
Varioua articles have been reported that extemal contactants were the cause Acne venenata. The daily use of cosmetics are tbe cause of Acne minor in adult wamen. To distinguish this from other type of Acne venenata due to extemal contactants Kligman had coined the term Acne cosmetica, which is a low grade persistant acneiform eruption with occasional papulopustulea in adult women. The authors have tested a wide range of available cosmetics(Total twenty including four kinds of cold cream species, two of cleansing cream species, three of nutrient cream species, six of lotion species, three of foundation make up species and two of foreign cosmetics) using the rabbit ear assay recently popularized by Kligman in order to evaluate comedogenic effects of various Korean ccsmetics. The results a.re as follows. 1. Among these twenty facial cosmetics, We observed no comedogenccicy in two facial cosmetics, mildly comcdogenecity in twelve facial cosmetics, moderately comedo- genecity in four facial cosmetics and severe comedogenecity in two facial cosmetics. 2. Histologic gradings were paralleled the findings of tbe naked eye in up to 65% 3. There were significant differences on comedogenecity between Korean cosmetics and foreign cosmetics which used by Kligman. 4. There were no significant diffrences between cold cream species, cleansing cream species. nutrient, cream species, lotion species and foundation make up species. 5, There were various differences among twenty kinds of every cosmetic specie.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1978;16(2):143-147
Subungual exostosis is a solitary fibrus nodule on the inner border of the terminal phalanx of the great toe. Rarely, the terminal phalanges of other toes, particularly the little toe, or even the fingers are involved. The first appearance is a small pinkish growth projecting slightly beyond the inner free edge of the nail, which pushes upward and backward. A case of Subungual exostosis affecting 20 year old man, who has been suffering from bean sized nolule on subungual area of terminal phalanx of left 5th toe. The skin iesion developed 1 year ago, and increased size insidiously and tendemess on pressure or tight shoes was noted. Diagnosis was confirmed by histopathologic and radiologic studies, and treated witb complete excision of tumor mass.

Korean Journal of Dermatology 1976;14(3):227-231
Recently, a benign variant of scleroderma, called the C.R.S. T, syndrome, has ben ibed by Winterbauer. Patients with this disorder have skin changes such as Cermal and subr, utaneous calcinosis, Raynauds phenomenon, sclerodactyly, and te1angiectasia. With the passible exception. of the gastroirgestinal syaterh, involvernent of other organs is uncommon, and affected. individuals have a Iong clinical cgurse. A case of C.R.S.T. syndrome in 25-year-old femala in reported with brief reviev of literatures. The patient showed miultiple pea sized nodular depoaits on dermal and subcuta.neous layers of both elbow and. knee joints, Rayaauds phenamenon, sclerrodactyly with acroselerosis and sclerodermatous change on both hands and forearm and telangiectasia on face and both palms On eeophagogram, slight disturhance of passage at the cardioesophageal junetion area was noted.

Hyun Kyeong JUNG ; Myung Hee KIM
Korean Journal of Rehabilitation Nursing 2004;7(2):213-219
PURPOSE: This study was designed to explore the attitudes of physicians and nurses. METHOD: Attitudes were measured by using the korean version of the SADP(Scale of Attitudes toward the Disabled Persons : Choi, G. H., & Lam, C. S., 2000). A korean version SADP consist of 24-item, six-point Likert-type scale(the points are -3, -2, -1, +1, +2, +3, where -3 is disagree very much and +3 is Agree very much), measuring general attitudes toward people with disabilities. The sample included 90 physicians, 114 nurses at a university hospital in Busan. The data were collected using questionnaires, and were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean score, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. RESULT: When studying the physicians group by itself, SADP scores tended to increase with women physicians, old age, married, higher educational level, more years of experience, medical unit. When studying the nurses group by itself, SADP scores tended to increase with the age of thirty, single, educational level, more years of experience, surgical unit. But not to a statistically significant degree. CONCLUSION: Findings suggest that the nurses had significantly higher score than the physicians(t=-4.63, p<.001). When studying the physicians group and the nurses group by itself, not to a statistically significant degree.

Myung Chul YOU ; Suck Hyun LEE ; Hyun Soo KIM
The Journal of the Korean Orthopaedic Association 1977;12(2):247-250
The giant cell tumor is a primary. neoplasm of bone characterized histollogically by a vascularized network of plumpish or ovoid stromal cells heavily interposed with multinucleated giant cells. The majority of cases occur in patients between 20 and 40 years old and in the long tubular bones, particuarly in proximity to the epiphysis. A rare case of giant cell tumor involving the patella was recently experienced by authors. Case summary with brief review of reference is presented.
