Korean Journal of Pathology 1986;20(4):427-434
An immunohistochemistry for S-100 protein by biotin avidin system technique was done to evaluate the existence and distribution pattern of S-100 protein positive cells in various obtained were as follows. 1) Positive immunostaining for S-100 protein was observed in myoepithelial cell, serous acinar cell and nervous bundle in normal salivary gland. 2) Strong immunoreactivity for S-100 protein was shown in plemorphic adenoma, which was localized not only in myoepithelial cord or sheets of epithelial portion but also in chondrocytes, stellate cells of myxoid stroma and in squamous keratin pearl of mesenchymal metaplastic foci. 3) The S-100 protein was demonstrated in the tumor cells of tubular adenoma, acinic cell tumors and in epidermoid area of mucoepidermoid tumors. 4) Immunoreactivity for S-100 protein, however, was not found in the tumor cells of adenoid cystic carcinoma and adenolymphoma except for stroma reticulum cells. 5) Intensity of positive reaction for S-100 protein varied from cell to cell: Some had intense immunoreactivity, whreas others were only weakly positive or completely negative, even in myoepithelial cell nest of the same pleomorphic adenoma.

We report one case of aseptic necrosis of both talus which has developed without any evidence of previous trauma. Aseptic necrosis of the talus is known to occur after any trauma which result in iterruption the blood supply to talus. Atraumatic aseptic necrosis of talus is extremely rarre condition. Some cases of atraumatic aseptic necrosis of talus were repoted by some authers, in whom Garcia described the first case in 1928. Most of the reported atraumatic aseptic necrosis were due to long term steroid therapy for unrelated medical problems and others were related to Alcoholism, Sepsis and Tuber culosis. ln this case we think for it may be caused or contributed by steroid therapy.

9.A Study on Model for Decreasing an Outpatient Waiting Time.
Journal of Korean Society of Medical Informatics 1996;2(1):27-39
This study is tried to suggest the new model to shorten the patient's waiting time from counting department to receiving drugs from pharmacy after doctor's diagnosis. The method of this study is designed to simulate from counting time to finishing time of dispensing drugs for internal medicine outpatients. The results are as follows : First, the increasing the numbers of server at pharmacy and counting department in present model don't effect on shortening outpatient's waiting time. Second, in the case of application of OCS, the outpatient's waiting time for receiving dispensed drugs from pharmacy is rather delayed because of no waiting time for counting. Third, in the case of application OCS and ATC simultaneously, the outpatient's waiting time for receiving dispensed drugs is shortened, and in this case, the increasing the numbers of server at pharmacy effect more greatly on the changes of patient's waiting time for receiving dispensed drugs from pharmacy. From the results of this study, it is noted that the best optimal for shortening outpatient's waiting time in general hospital is to introduce the OCS and ATC simultaneously in the process between the counting department and pharmacy, and increasing the numbers of server at pharmacy.

We experience a case of plexiform neurofibroma in a 10-year-old girl who had unusual giant pigmentation and multiple skcletal abnormalities including pectus cariimtum. Histologic examination of the lesion taken from right upper arm permitted a diagnosis of plexiform neurofibroma.
