Study on 36 patients were examined and tested for serum urea and creatinin level before hemodialysis. Doppler ultrasound was performed for kidney arteries of 21 men and 15 women aged from 25 to 75 years old and 22 age-matched healthy people without kidney disease and hypertension. The result showed that blood flow decreased significantly in patient group. Both RI and PI increased comparision with healthy people. Both RI and PI closely correlated with glomerular infiltration, FV, and blood creatinin level. Blood creatinin level can be used for monitoring the process of renal failure.
