Objective: To itvestigate the effect of Antidepressant on refractory irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods: A self-control study of subclincal dosage of antidepressants therapy(fluoxetine 10mg/d or paroxetine 10mg/d) for 12 weeks in 46 patients with refractory IBS was performed. The clinical outcomes were evaluated by indexs of symptom severity and symptom frequency and the score of Hamiton depession scale(HAMD) and Hamiton anxiety(HAMA).Results: All 46 cases completed the therapy. After the course of treatment, indexes of symptom severity and symptom frequency and the scores of HAMD and HAMA were significantly lower than those before treatment(P

Objective To observe the expression and distribution of IL 10 in local vessel after balloon injury in rat and study its significance in the response of artery injury Methods RT PCR and Western Blot as well as immunohistochemical method were used to assay the changes of IL 10′s mRNA as well as expression and distribution of protein Results There is no expression of IL 10 in vascular wall of normal rat After Balloon injury, the level of IL 10 mRNA and product of IL 10 was up regulated, and immunohistochemiscal staining showed immunoreactive IL 10 mainly in smooth muscle cells Conclusion IL 10 is expressed in balloon injured aorta and may contribute to the modulation of the local inflammatory response

Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(4):377-383
OBJECTIVEBy using questionnaire method to understand the evaluation regarding cost-effectiveness of acupuncture for migraine in both doctors and patients.
METHODSBy using questionnaire method, questionnaires for doctors and patients were made respectively; by using network platform, two sets of questionnaires were publicly released, which were filled in online. The results were real-time background collected and then analyzed.
RESULTSTotally 696 effective questionnaires for patients and 114 questionnaires for doctors were collected. The results indicated that (1)the direct cost (including treatment fee and material fee) for preventive treatment of migraine was 109 yuan per time in regular acupuncture, 152 yuan per time in regular acupuncture + electroacupuncture (EA) and 238 yuan per time in acupoint catgut embedding. The travelling expense was 42 yuan per time within the city and 193 yuan per time between cities. The indirect cost included cost for loss of working time (208 yuan per time), cost for treatment time (acupoint catgut embedding: 10 to 30 min per time, once one to three weeks; the remaining two treatments: 20 to 50 min per time, once to 5 times every week), time cost for arriving and departing hospital (1 to 3 hours per time within the city and 4 hours per time between cities). From the angle of treatment course, acupoint catgut embedding reduced the treatment frequency, leading to a lower total cost. (2)A mong the reasons to select different acupuncture methods to treat migraine, the results of patient questionnaire indicated that the focus in the patients who selected acupoint catgut embedding was different from that in the patients who selected two other treatments. The main advantage of acupoint catgut embedding was superior and lasting efficacy with low cost. The results of doctor questionnaire indicated the main reason to select acupoint catgut embedding was "lasting efficacy after single treatment" (87. 5%) and "lower frequency of treatment" (75. 0%). (3) The main reason to obstruct the popularization of acupoint catgut embedding was this method was not widely known.
CONCLUSIONThe acupoint catgut embedding is one ideal preventive treatment for migraine, which has higher cost-effectiveness, however, currently it is not widely applied. In future advertisement and training program should be strengthened to perform targeted popularization of acupoint catgut embedding for migraine.

Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2014;30(6):460-463
Objective To investigate the relationship of parity and other reproduction-associated factors with metabolic syndrome(MS) in middle-aged and elderly women in Nanchang community. Methods Female permanent residents over 40 years old were sampled for a routine examination and a questionnaire survey covering basic information,5 894 subjects were enrolled and identified as effective cases.MS was diagnosed according to the standard of China Diabetes Society in 2004.Factors including age, education, profession, marital status,parity,child-bearing history of macrosomia, breastfeeding, menarche age,and menopausal age were analyzed in order to find their relationship with MS.The univariate logistic analysis was followed by binary logistic regression analysis if P<0.05,and OR value and confidence interval were calculated. Results Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, education, profession, parity, breastfeeding, and menopausal age were influencing factors of MS (all P < 0.05).There was no correlation to marital status, miscarriage history,child-bearing history of macrosomia, menarche age with MS(all P>0.05).Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk of MS increased with age:OR =1.51 (95 % CI 0.98-2.32) during 50-59 years,OR =2.10 (95 % CI 1.34-3.30) during 60-69 years, and OR =2.63 (95 % CI 1.61-4.31) in cases aged over 70 years,as compared to the group aged 40-49 years. The risk in non-manual workers increased about 34 percent OR =1.33 (95 % CI 1.04-1.70),compared with manual workers. The risk of MS increased with parity, being OR =1.46 (95% CI 1.14-1.88),OR =1.78 (95% CI 1.30-2.43),and OR =1.84 (95% CI 1.24-2.72),with 2,3,and 4 child-bearings respectively as compared to cases with only one childbearing. The risk of MS was reduced with advancing menopausal age being about 6 percent reduction with each increased year of menopausal age(OR =0.94,95% CI 0.90-0.99).There was no difference between education, breastfeeding and MS(P>005).Conclusion Multiple parity, earlier menopausal age, less manual work, and aging seem to be the risk factors of MS in women.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
Objective To study protein variation between PtenL/LMEFs and Pten△/△MEFs cells. Methods Two-dimensional electrophoresis(2-DE) was employed to compare the differential expression proteins between PtenL/LMEFs and Pten△/△MEFs cells.Six differential expression proteins were digested in gel by enzyme and the mass of generated peptides was measured by matrix assisted laser desorption ionization time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF-MS).The data obtained from peptide mass fingerprinting(PMF) were searched using the Internet available database and five proteins were identified. Results Compared with that of PtenL/LMEFs,expression level of proteins including phosphoglycerate mutase 1(PGAM1) and peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase C(PPIC) was up-regulated,whereas expression level of Transgelin 2 was down-regulated in Pten△/△MEFs cells.B and F proteins were both identified to be peroxiredoxin-6.They had similar molecular weight but different PI which might be caused by post-translation modification.B protein was only expressed in Pten△/△MEFs cells. Conclusion The protein profile of Pten△/△MEFs cells displayed obvious difference compared to that of PtenL/LMEFs cells. The results implied that various distinct different proteins might lead to cancer.
