ObjectiveTo evaluate the effectiveness of treating tuberculous pleurisy with hydrogen peroxide solution washing and povidone iodine solution perfusing topically.MethodsAfter fixing position with B ultrasound or 64 rows spiral computed tomography, the thoracic cavity was firstly inspected with thoracoscope, the effusion was exhausted and the conglutionations was cut with thoracoscope or high frequency electrome, then the thoracic cavity was washed with 200 ml 3% hydrogen peroxide solution, and lastly it was perfused continually with 0.5% povidone iodine solution to control the intracavity infection quickly and to promote cicatrization. After routine antitubercular therapy for one year, the time of pleural effusion disappearing and the state of pleura hypertrophy was observed.ResultsThere were 86 cases in all. After antitubercular therapy and extracting pleural effusion at the same time in 48 cases.Twenty-two cases'effusion didn't increase basically after 4 weeks. They stopped extracting effusion and went on with antitubercular therapy (the first group). The rest 26 patients continued to accept the therapy of hydrogen peroxide solution washing and povidone iodine solution perfusing topically(the second group),and 23cases achieved remedial goal in a week with the effective rate of 88.46% (23/26).The third group had 38 cases who didn't accept thoracocentesis but accepted the therapy of hydrogen peroxide solution washing and povidone iodine solution perfusing directly, and there were 36 cases that achieved remedial goal in a week with effective rate of 94.74% (36/38).The time of pleural effusion disappearing in the third group was obviously shorter than that in the first group (1 week vs.4 weeks )(P < 0.05 ),and there was no significant difference in the efftective rate between the second group and the third group (P > 0.05 ).Half a year after therapy, the thickness of pleura was measured and it was found that in the first group was thickest and in the third group thinnest and even some without hypertrophy. It was the same effect after one year. Conclusions The effectiveness of the method treating tuberculous pleurisy with hydrogen peroxide solution washing and povidone iodine solution perfusing topically is defimite, and the method can shorten the time of pleural effusion disappearing and alleviate the pleural hypertrophy.

Objective To systematically assess the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in treating type 2 diabetes. Methods Related literature was retrieved with a computer. After the data were sifted out from the literature according to the established criteria, they were collected and crossly checked by two researchers independently. The data were input to RevMan5.2 for statistical analysis. Results A total of ten studies were included with a total of 743 patients. The results of Meta analysis showed 1) Post-treatment total efficacy rate was higher in the acupuncture or combined acupuncture and medicine group than in the control group [OR=3.60, 95%CI (2.11,6.13)] and there was a statistically significant difference (Z=4.71,P<0.00001); 2) Post-treatment range of decrease in fasting blood glucose (FBG) was significantly higher in the experiment group than in the control group [WMD=-1.20,95%CI (-1.38,-1.02)] and there was a statistically significant difference (Z=12.88,P<0.00001); 3) Post-treatment range of decrease in 2-h postprandial blood glucose (2hPBG) was significantly higher in the experiment group than in the control group [WMD=-1.27, 95%CI (-1.47,-1.06)] and there was a statistically significant difference (Z=12.02,P<0.00001).Conclusion Clinically acupuncture or combined acupuncture and medicine is more effective than Chinese herbal medicine or Western medication alone in treating T2DM and has no toxic and side effects.

The aim of this study was to identify the characteristics of human excited electroencephalogram and the excited location in brain. The subjects were excited by taking a fixed quantity of caffeine. Electroencephalographic signals were collected using with 128 channels Phoenix Digital EEG and compared before and after the subjects drank coffee. The results showed obvious differences and compared with the ones before being excited electroencephalogram. After being excited we found that the lower frequency composition was restrained in the region below 10 Hz, the high frequency composition was increased significantly, and a wave crest of 38 Hz was produced in every acquisition point with the height around 200. Then the excited region was located in brain with the software of ASA 3 Course (designed by ANT company of Germany) and found that the excited location was focused on the area of the middle abdomen in the pons' side near bulbar when a person was exciting.
