In order to implement the computerization of consumables management in hospital, the consumables management system is developed. The paper introduces the main functions, including treasury management, inventory management, bar,ode utilization, nurse station function intagration, financial reconciliation and management function. It points out that using this system could greatly re-duce the workload and enhance the efficiency.

Objective To investigate the genetic relationship of the Dengue virus strains isolated in Guangdong province in 2006 and 2007, and to find the sources of these virus. Methods Serum samples of the dengue fever patients from 5 cities of Guangdong province in 2006 and 4 cities in 2007 were collected. Three pairs of primers that specific for amplifying the 3 overlap fragments of E gene of Dengue virus type Ⅰ were designed. RNAs were extracted from C6/36 cells treated with patients' serum. E genes were amplified by RT-PCR, purified and then sequenced directly. To obtain the E gene complete sequences, the raw sequences were assembled and edited. Obtained E genes were compared with E genes of other Dengue virus type Ⅰ published in the GenBank, analyzed by MEGA version 4.1 software. Results In 2006, virus circulating in Guaogzhou2006(EF508203) was closest to Vietnam2006(EU482539) with 99.3% nucleotides homology, Chaozhou2006 (EF508206) and Shantou2006 (EF508207) strains were closest to Japan2004 (AB178040) and Singapore2006 (EU081280) with 99.5% nucleotides homology, while Yangjiang2006 (EF508205) and Yangjiang2001 (EF508200) were closest to each other and both with 99.5% nucleotides homology to Thailand2001 (AY732482). All 4 Dengue virus strains circulated in 2007 were closest to Singapore2005(EU081276) with 99.7% nueleotides homology. Conclusion The Dengue viruses prevalent in 2006 were from different sources while those in 2007 came from the same origin. The data also showed that there was an endemic area of Dengue virus in Guangdong province.

Objective To understand antimicrobial resistance and homology of carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP)from an intensive care unit (ICU).Methods 11 CRKP isolates from patients and environment of an ICU in a hospital were performed antimicrobial susceptibility testing,the homology of CRKP was analyzed by randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)method.Results Of 11 CRKP isolates,8 were from patients,and 3 from environment,the main specimen was sputum(n =6,54.55%).Antimicrobial susceptibility testing results re-vealed that 10 (90.91%)CRKP isolates were resistant to ciprofloxacin;11 isolates were susceptible to compound sulfame-thoxazole,intermediate to imipenem,and resistant to other antimicrobial agents(100%).All 11 CRKP isolates had 3 bands,and were divided into two types:(typeⅠ,n=10;type Ⅱ,n=1).Conclusion Antimicrobial resistance of Kleb-siella pneumoniae in ICU is serious,CRKP isolated from ICU patients and environment are of the same clone. Cleaning,disinfection,and monitoring of ICU environment should be strengthened,which is helpful for reducing, timely warning of multidrug-resistant organisms,and reducing healthcare-associated infection.

Objective To compare X-ray,CT,and MRI in detection of abnormal sacroiliac joint changes in patients with early stage of ankylosing spondylitis (AS).Methods Fifty-three patients with clinical suspected early stage of AS underwent X-ray and MRI scan.MR scan sequences for the sacroiliac joints consisted of T1-weighted,T2-weighted,short time inversion recovery (STIR) and three dimensional balance turbo field echo with water selective excitation (3D-BTFE-WATS) in all patients.In 24 of the patients,fat-saturated contrast-enhanced T1-weighted was used.Twenty-five of 53 patients underwent CT scan.The Chi-square test was used to analyse the uniformity of bone erosions detected by X-ray,CT,and MRI.Results Of the 106 sacroiliac joints in 53 patients,16 sacroiliac joints with bone erosions were detected by X-ray and 63 sacroiliac joints by MRI.Of the 50 sacroiliac joints in 25 patients,26 sacroiliac joints with bone erosions were found by CT.With regard to the detection of bone erosions,there was no difference between CT and MRI (x2 =0.16,P ＞0.05 ) and there was significant difference between CT and X-ray or MRI and X-ray ( x2 =14.44 and 17.36,P ＜ 0.05 ).3D-BTFE-WATS was better than other sequences in detection of bone erosions.Acute inflammatory changes were determined by MRI,which included subchondral bone marrow edema in 32 patients,synovitis in 35 patients,fat depositions in 16 patients,enthesitis in 15 patients,capsulitis in 9 patients,and cartilaginous disruption in 31 patients.Conclusions MRI can detect acute inflammatory changes that can not display by X-ray and CT.Compared with radiography and CT,MRI is more useful in detection of abnormal sacroiliac joint changes in patients with early stage of AS.

Objective To study the imaging findings of hip involvement and to compare the sensitivity of radiography,CT,and MRI in the identification of hip involvement in patients with ankylosing spondylitis(AS).MethodsAnteroposterior radiography of the pelvis and MRI of hip were performed in 55 patients with AS.CT scan of hip was performed in 29 of 55 patients.T1-weighted,T2-weighted,short tau inversion recovery (STIR) and three dimensional balanced turbo field echo with water selective excitation (3D-BTFE-WATS) coronal sequences of hips were obtained in all patients,of which fat-saturated contrastenhanced T1-weighted sequence was performed in 24 patients.The imaging data of 55 patients were analyzed.The chi-square test was used to analyze the sensitivity in the identification of hip involvement among radiography,CT,and MRI.ResultsAmong 110 hips in all 55 patients,abnormal changes were detected in 13 hips by radiography,85 hips by MRI.The findings of radiography included bone erosions in 13 hips,joint space narrowing in 4 hips,syndesmophytes in 5 hips.MRI revealed bone erosive destruction in 31 hips,joint space narrowing in 4 hips,joint effusion in 80 hips,subchondral bone marrow edema in 32 hips,fat accumulation of bone marrow in 28 hips,enthesitis in 21 hips.Bilateral synovial enhancement was showed in 19 of 24 patients who underwent fat-saturated contrast-enhanced T1-weighted sequence.Of the 58 hip joints in 29 patients who underwent CT examination,not only did CT show all bone erosions detected by radiography and MRI,but CT revealed bone erosive destruction that were not identified by radiography in 10 hips and by MRI in 1 hip as well.Abnormal changes were detected in 10.3％ (6/58)by radiography,27.6％ (16/58) by CT,and 77.6％ (45/58) by MRI.The sensitivity of MRI in the identification of hip involvement is higher than that of radiography and CT ( x2 =53.22 and 29.08,P ＜ 0.05 ).In addition to chronic bone structural changes,MRI depicted acute inflammatory changes which could not be detected by radiography and CT.ConclusionsMRI can detect early acute inflammatory changes of hip joint that can not be showed by radiography and CT.Effusion of joint and synovial enhancement caused by synovitis are the most common MRI findings of the hip in patients with AS.

Objective To investigate the availability of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT proBNP) in the detection of early ventricular diastolic dysfunction by polymyositis/dermatomyositis (PM/DM).Methods A total of 46 PM/DM patients without symptoms of heart involvement were prospectively studied by standard echocardiography and the longitudinal mitral annular velocities was measured by tissue Doppler echocardiography (TDI).Plasma NT-proBNP was measured in all patients.Multivariate Logistics regression analysis was applied to investigate the risk factors for early cardiac complications.The availability of NTproBNP was evaluated by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis.Results There were 22 patients complicated with early diastolic dysfunction (E/Em ≥ 8) by TDI.The multi-factors Logistic regression analysis showed that the age of onset (OR=1.117,95％CI 1.005-1.243,P=0.040) and plasma NT-proBNP (OR=1.022,95％CI 1.001-1.042,P=0.036) were risk factors for early left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.The level of NT-proBNP was positively correlated with E/Em value(r=0.687,P=0.000).ROC showed NT-proBNP could reliably detectearly ventricular diastolic dysfunction [area under the curve 0.858 (95％ CI 0.735-0.981,P＜0.01)].If PM/DM patients with normal TDI(E/Em＜8) were used as controls,and 120 pg/ml was used as the cut-off concentration,the sensitivity and specificity of NT-proBNP for the early ventricular diastolic dysfunction was 81.8％ and 91.7％ respectively.Conclusion Age at onset and plasma NT-proBNP are risk factors for early left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.The level of NT-proBNP is positively correlated with E/Em value.The plasma NT-proBNP concentration higher than 120 pg/ml maybe a marker for early left ventricular diastolic dysfunction.

Objective To evaluate the relationship between inflammatory responses induced by perioperative infection and surgical stress and postoperative cognitive dysfunction in mice. Methods One hundred forty?four healthy male C57BL∕6 mice, aged 8-12 weeks, weighing 20-25 g, were divided into 4 groups ( n=36 each) using a random number table: control group ( group C) , surgery group ( group S) , infection group ( group I) , and infection+surgery group ( group I+S) . In group S, the open reduction and internal fixation was performed after tibial fracture was induced. Lipopolysaccharide ( LPS) 100 μg∕kg was injected intraperitoneally at the same time every day for 5 consecutive days starting from 1 day before surgery in group I. In group I+S, LPS 100 μg∕kg was injected intraperitoneally at the same time every day for 5 consecutive days starting from 1 day before surgery, and the open reduction and internal fixation was per?formed after tibial fracture was induced at 2 h after LPS injection on the day of surgery. Contextual fear con?ditioning test was performed on 1 and 3 days after surgery, and cognitive function was assessed. The rate of freezing time was calculated. The peripheral venous blood samples were collected for determination of plas?ma interleukin?6 ( IL?6) and IL?1β concentrations by enzyme?linked immunosorbent assay. The animals were then sacrificed, and the hippocampi were isolated for determination of IL?6, IL?1β and prostaglandin E2 ( PGE2 ) contents in hippocampal tissues by enzyme?linked immunosorbent assay. Results Compared with group C, the rate of freezing time was significantly decreased on 1 and 3 days after surgery, and the contents of IL?6, IL?1βand PGE2 in hippocampal tissues were significantly increased on 1 and 3 days after surgery in S and I+S groups, the concentrations of plasma IL?6 and IL?1βwere significantly increased on 1 day after surgery, and the concentration of plasma IL?1βwas significantly increased on 3 days after surgery in group S, the concentrations of plasma IL?6 and IL?1β were significantly increased on 1 and 3 days after surgery in I and I+S groups ( P<0?01) , and no significant change was found in the rate of freezing time on 1 and 3 days after surgery in group I ( P>0?05) . Compared with group S or group I, the rate of freezing time was significantly decreased on 1 and 3 days after surgery, and the concentrations of IL?6 and IL?1βin plasma and contents of IL?6, IL?1β and PGE2 in hippocampal tissues were significantly increased on 1 and 3 days after surgery in group I+S ( P<0?01) . Conclusion Inflammatory responses induced by periopera?tive infection and surgical stress can aggravate postoperative cognitive dysfunction in mice.

Objective To provide scientific evidences for Zika virus detection by clarifying the means by which Zika virus was discharged and the duration of corresponding processes. Methods Various samples of Zika cases were collected at different times and detected by using real-time RT-PCR. The positive samples were inoculated into cells and suckling mice through intracranial injection. The whole genome se-quences of those isolated Zika virus strain were sequenced and the results were further analyzed by comparing with the sequences of Zika virus from GenBank. Results The positive rates of Zika virus in urine, saliva and serum samples were 82. 4% (14/17), 82. 4% (14/17) and 52. 9% (9/17) respectively. The longest period of detected presence of Zika virus was found in urine samples amongst the three types of samples, fol-lowed by saliva and serum samples. Six Zika virus strains were isolated from 9 positive serum samples. Phy-logenetic analysis showed that the six genomes of Zika virus all belonged to Asia lineage, but located in two branches by Samoa and Venezuela strains. Conclusion This study indicated that urine, saliva and serum all could be used as the samples for routine detection of Zika virus. Urine and saliva samples showed higher detection rates of Zika virus RNA in comparison to serum samples, while Zika virus could be easily isolated from positive serum samples. Suckling mice were better for Zika virus isolation than cell lines.

Objective To establish a method for the isolation of Zika virus and to gather experi-ences for viral isolation. Methods Suckling mice at age 1-3 days were inoculated with serum samples posi-tive for Zika virus through intracranial injection. All mice were sacrificed 6 days after the injection. Viral nu-cleic acids were extracted from brain, heart, liver, spleen, lung, kidney, muscle, skin and intestine tissue samples and analyzed by real-time RT-PCR. The supernatants of brain tissues positive for Zika virus were used for subculturing. Nested PCR was performed to amplify the NS5 gene of the isolated virus. The se-quences of NS5 gene were analyzed by using MEGA6. 0 software. Results All of the tissue samples were positive for Zika virus. Higher viral loads were detected in heart and brain tissue samples with cycle thresh-old (Ct) values of 24. 4 and 25. 3, respectively. The second generation of Zika virus was identified in suck-ling mice brain tissues 2 days after infection by using real-time RT-PCR. The amplified product of nested PCR was 972 bp in length. Sequencing analysis showed that the isolated Zika virus ( GDZ16002 strain) be-longed to the Asian lineage. Conclusion A strain of Zika virus was successfully isolated in China by using intracranial injection via a suckling mouse model. The isolated Zika virus belonged to the Asian lineage.

Objective To explore the effect of vaginal pressure feedback combined with pelvic floor muscle resistant training on stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Methods 125 women with SUI in our hospital from February, 2014 to May, 2015 were randomized into control group (n=65) and experimental group (n=60). The control group took Kegel exercise, which asked for patients to contract their pelvic floor muscles, while the experimental group first received biofeedback electrical stimulation for 20 minutes with XFT-2002 pelvic floor stimula-tor, then instructed the patients to contract their pelvic floor muscles and pressed the pneumatic probe which placed in vagina according to the voice navigation of XFT-0010 pelvic floor muscle stimulator after they learnt the contraction skill. Both groups received training with 10 seconds' contraction and 10 seconds' rest 30 minutes per day for 30 days in total. They were assessed by GRRUG and International Consulta-tion Incontinence Questionnaire-UI Short Form (ICIQ-SF). Results After treatment, the muscle strength of the pelvic floor (t=-3.570) and the scores of ICIQ (t=4.198) improved significantly in both groups (P<0.01), and was higher in the experimental group than in the control group (t=6.833, t=-2.445, P<0.01), as well as the therapeutic efficiency (Z=63.954, P<0.001). Conclusion Vaginal pressure feedback com-bined with pelvic floor muscle resistant training can further improve stress urinary incontinence in women.
