To identity the pathogen that causes the mosaic and yellowing symptoms on Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz in Jiangxian, Shanxi province, biological inoculation, sequence-independent amplification (SIA),RT-PCR and other identification methods were used. The results showed that the chlorotic and necrosis symptoms occurred in the indicator plant Chenopodium quinoa after it was infected with the pathogen, and the same symptoms appeared after the reinoculation of healthy Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz; this reflected that the disease was likely to be caused by a virus. The results of SIA and sequencing showed that Broad bean wilt virus 2 (BBWV2) was present in severely mosaic Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz leaves. To further characterize the BBWV2 isolate from Atractylodes macrocephala (BBWV2-Am), the polyprotein partial gene encoded by BBWV2-Am RNA2 was cloned and sequenced. Sequence alignments showed that the nucleotide sequence identity of BBWV2-Am SCP and LCP genes ranged from 79.3% to 87.2% and from 80.1% to 89.2% compared to other BBWV2 strains, respectively; the deduced amino acid sequence similarities of the two gene products ranged from 91.2% to 95.7% and from 89.44 to 95.5%, respectively, compared to those of other BBWV2 strains. Phylogenetic comparisons showed that BBWV2-Am was most likely to be related to BBWV2-Rg,but formed an independent branch. This is the first report of BBWV2 in Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz.

Chinese Journal of Reparative and Reconstructive Surgery 2007;21(2):194-203
Objective To review and summarize the latest development of the therapy for the Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). Methods The recently-published articles related to the therapies for DMD were extensively reviewed and briefly summarized. Results The therapeutic approaches for DMD included the gene therapy, the cell therapy, and the pharmacological therapy. The gene therapy and the cell therapy were focused on the treatment for the cause of DMD by the delivery of the missing gene, the modification of the mutated gene, and the transfer of the normal cells including the stem cells, while the pharmacological therapy dealt with the downstream events caused by the dystrophin gene defect, slowed down the pathologic progress of DMD, and improved the DMD patient's life quality and life span, by medication and other factor treatments. Conclusion There is still no cure for DMD because of various difficulties in replacing or repairing the defected gene and of the multifaceted nature of the severe symptoms. Therefore, it is imperative for us to find out a more effective treatment that can solve these problems.

Objective To study the serum levels of low molecule weight IgM (LMW IgM) in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) patients and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and to evaluate the relationship of LMW IgM levels with the disease activities. Methods The levels of LMW IgM and pentameric IgM in AS patients, RA patients and healthy controls were measured with ELISA after separated using ultrafiltration assay. Differences in the percentage of LMW IgM between subject groups were analysed using Mann-Whitney U test. Results The percentages of LMW IgM increased dramatically in AS patients and RA patients compared with healthy controls (0.194 ± 0123, 0.061 ±0.026, 0.028 ±0.165 separately). The LMW IgM percentages were not correlated with the disease activities. Conclusion The increase of LMW IgM indicates humoral immune function abnormality in AS patients and RA. However, the mechanism needs further study.

Objective To explore the effect of arsenic trioxide maintenance therapy on the long-term recur-rence rate in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia ( APL ) . Methods From December 2011 to December 2013,60 patients with APL in the First People's Hospital of Huzhou were selected and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table, with 30 cases in each group. All patients received the same induction therapy and consolidation therapy. During the maintenance treatment period, all - trans retinoic acid ( ATRA) was given to the control group, and arsenic trioxide was used in the observation group. The serum levels and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were detected and compared after two cycles of the maintenance therapy. Three years of follow - up was conducted after treatment to record and compare the recurrence rate and survival rate in the two groups. Results The levels of TC and TG after 1 and 2 cycles of treatment were higher than those before treatment in both two groups(all P<0. 05),but the levels of lipid indicators in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (t=2. 044,2. 175,all P<0. 05). The incidence rates of retinoic acid syndrome, elevated intracranial pressure and other adverse reactions in the observation group during the treatment were lower than those in the control group(6. 67% vs. 26. 67%,6. 67% vs. 30. 00%,6. 67% vs. 26. 67%),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =0. 043,0. 023,0. 043,all P<0. 05). The survival rates after 2 and 3 years of treatment in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(90. 00% vs. 66. 67%,83. 33% vs. 60. 00%),and the differences were statistically significant(χ2 =4. 812,4. 812,all P<0. 05). The recurrence rate after 3 years of treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(10. 00% vs. 33. 33%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2 =4. 812,P <0. 05). Conclusion For patients with APL, the application of arsenic trioxide in the maintenance therapy can produce no significant effect on their lipid metabolism, and at a certain extent, can help reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and recurrence rate, and improve the survival rate.

Objective:To explore the relationship between psychological capital, career decision-making difficulties, and employment anxiety among undergraduate nursing students, in order to help them improve their employability and mental health. Methods:From December 2022 to January 2023, a cross-sectional survey was conducted on 543 undergraduate nursing students from five medical colleges in Shanxi Province interning at the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, selected through convenience sampling method, using a General Information Questionnaire, Psychological Capital Scale, College Student Career Decision-making Difficulties Scale, and College Student Employment Anxiety Scale. Spearman correlation analysis was used to explore the relationship among them, and hierarchical model was used to explore the predictive ability of undergraduate nursing students ′ psychological capital and career decision-making difficulties on their employment anxiety by stratified regression analysis. Results:The score of College Student Employment Anxiety Scale of 543 undergraduate nursing students was 36(30, 44). The results of correlation analysis showed that employment anxiety was negatively correlated with psychological capital and its four dimensions (self-efficacy, hope, resilience and optimism), while employment anxiety was moderately correlated with career decision-making difficulties and its three dimensions (lack of preparation, difficulty in information exploration and conflict)( r values were -0.291 to 0.564, all P<0.05). The hierarchical model showed that psychological capital and career decision-making difficulties independently explained the 46.1% variation of employment anxiety after controlling the influence of general data. Conclusions:The score of employment anxiety of undergraduate nursing students is in the middle level, and the difficulty of career decision-making has a positive impact, while the psychological capital has a negative impact. College educators can continuously monitor the psychological capital and provide career development counseling for undergraduate nursing students through positive psychological intervention and effective management measures, so as to reduce the degree of employment anxiety of undergraduate nursing students.

Objective:To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of health self-management ability of scientific and technological workers in Shanxi Province. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study. Using the general situation questionnaire and the adult health self-management ability evaluation scale, 467 scientific and technological workers who received physical examination in the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2022 to September 2022 were investigated by questionnaire, and their height, weight, body mass index, fasting blood glucose, blood lipids and blood uric acid were collected on the day of physical examination. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of health self-management ability, and Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between health self-management ability and examination items. Results:The total score of health self-management ability of 467 scientific and technological workers was (153.7±16.5). The results of multiple linear regression showed that the type of medical insurance, self-assessment of health status, staying up late, and sleep quality were independent influencing factors of health self-management ability ( R2=0.141, adjusted R2=0.120, F=6.771; P<0.001). Health self-management ability was positively correlated with high-density lipoprotein ( r=0.114), behavioral subscale was positively correlated with high-density lipoprotein ( r=0.107), environmental subscale was negatively correlated with uric acid ( r=-0.103), triglyceride ( r=-0.118), and positively correlated with high-density lipoprotein ( r=0.129), and cognitive subscale was negatively correlated with triglyceride ( r=-0.125), all of which were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The ability of health self-management of scientific and technological workers in Shanxi Province belongs to the upper middle level, which is affected by the type of medical insurance, the self-assessment of health status, staying up late, and the quality of sleep. It is suggested that the ability of health self-management of scientific and technological workers can be improved by strengthening their health beliefs, providing a more convenient working environment, reducing the frequency of staying up late, and improving their sleep quality.
