Objective To investigate the clinical pathologic features and treatment scheme of primary bronchial carcinoid tumor. Methods Twenty-one cases with primary bronchial carcinoid tumors were selected as our subjects.Clinical information was recorded.Of 21 patients,17 cases were undergone surgery including 12 cases for lobectomy,2 cases for pneumonectomyin,1 case for pulmonary wedge resection and 1 case for egmental resection;Three cases were received adjuvant chemotherapy,1 case for adjuvant and radiation therapy and chemotherapy and 1 case for chemotherapy only. Results Histological classification showed that 7 cases were typical carcinoid, and other 14 cases were atypical carcinoid.Nine cases were TNM stage I,8 cases at stage Ⅱ,1 case at stage Ⅲ,3 cases at stage Ⅳ.All cases were performed follow-up for 5 years.Nineteen cases survived at 1st year and 10 cases survived at 3rd years survival.5 years survival rate was 23.8% (5/21).Conclusion Surgical operation is proved to be the main method for treating bronchopulmonary carcinoid tumors, and surgical radical operation was recommended.

Radiotherapy can improve the local control rate of the tumors by destructing the tumor cells within the radiation field, can reduce the distant spread by activating the body 's anti-tumor immune response through various mechanisms, and also can exert systemic anti-tumor effect synergistically assisted by immunotherapy. As a new combination therapy, a large number of studies have found that local radiotherapy combined with different immunotherapy can benefit the survival of cancer patients. The optimal efficacy is closely related to the appropriate radiotherapy dose, segmentation model and combined timing. This paper discusses the effects of radiotherapy on the immune system, the related basic and clinical researches of radiotherapy and immunotherapy, and the better way to make the combination effectively.

ObjectiveTo elucidate the association of immune response to hepatitis B vaccination with HLA-DRB1 * 12 allele as well as the level of IL-4 and IFN-γ.MethodsSeventy-four healthy college students from Guangxi province who had non- or hypor -response to recombinant hepatitis B vaccination and 64 medium- or hyper-responders with the conditions of similar were selected randomly and involved in this study.HLA-DRB1 * 12 was detected by PCR-SSP,the level of IFN-γ and IL-4 cytokines were examined by ELISA.Results(1)The allelic frequencies of HLA-DRB1 * 12 was lower in the non- or hypor-responders than that in the medium- or hyper-responders ( 10.8% vs 32.8%,P=0.002) ; (2)The expression level of IFN-γ in the non- or hypor-responders ( 7.21±7.92 ) ng/ml was much less than that of the medium- or hyper- responders ( 16.36± 11.00) ng/ml ( P=0.000).(3) The expression level of IL-4 in the non- or hyporresponders (3.18±4.45) ng/ml was much less than that of the medium- or hyper- responders (7.76±5.71 ) ng/ml(P=0.000).(4)No significant differences was seen between the expression level of IFN-γ in the HLA-DRB1 * 12 positive ( 13.18± 11.24) ng/ml and the negative ( 11.00± 10.29 ) ng/ml ( P =0.349 ).(5)No significant differences was seen between the expression level of IL-4 in the HLA-DRB1 * 12 positive (5.947±4.530) ng/ml and the negative (5.132±5.800) ng/ml (P=0.423).ConclusionHLA-DRB1 * 12 might be the allele enhanced immune response to hepatitis B vaccination. The expression levels of IFN-γand IL-4 correlating to Thl/Th2 cells might affect on the immune response to hepatitis B vaccination.

Objective:To detect the proportion of lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of the ad-vanced breast cancer patients before and after chemotherapy with docetaxel and thiotepa,as well as the association between the proportion of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets with the response rate and prog-nosis.Methods:The proportions of lymphocyte subsets (CD3 +T cell,CD3 +/CD4 +T cell,CD3 +/CD8 +T cell,CD3 -/CD16 +56 +NK cell,CD3 +/CD16 +56 +T cell,CD19 +B cell,CD4 +/CD25 +T cell,CD8 +/CD28 -T cell,CD8 +/CD28 +T cell)in the peripheral blood of 86 patients were analyzed with flowcytometry before and after chemotherapy. The result was analyzed in combination with clinico-pathological data. Results:The proportion of regulatory T cells (Treg)after chemotherapy in the disease control patients decreased significantly compared with that of the progressive patients (P=0.034).The difference of the proportions of Treg before and after chemotherapy affected significantly the overall survi-val (OS).The OS of the patients with decreased proportion of Treg was significantly longer than that of the patients with increased proportion of Treg, which was 23.5 and 9.4 months respectively (P<0.05). Conclusion:The patients with decreased proportion of Treg after chemotherapy had higher response rate and better survival benefit.

Objective:
To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of CT-guided percutaneous lung puncture biopsy versus ultrasound-guided percutaneous lung puncture biopsy.
Methods:
Relevant domestic and foreign related databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, OVID, China Biology Medicine, VIP, Wanfang and CNKI databases were searched, the randomized controlled trial about the applications of CT-guided and ultrasound-guided percutaneous lung puncture biopsy were collected. After extracting the relevant data, a Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.2 and Stata softwares.
Results:
Ten studies met the inclusion criteria, with a total sample size of 1 158 cases, of which 635 were CT-guided puncture biopsy and 523 were ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy. Meta-analysis showed that the difference of the success rate between the CT-guided group and the ultrasound-guided group was not statistically significant [97.48% (619/635) vs. 96.56% (505/523),

With the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic across the world, numerous variants have emerged. As a high-risk group for COVID-19, the elderly are prone to acute kidney injury(AKI), with atypical clinical features and high proportions of patients with critical illness. Its pathogenesis mainly includes direct damage to the kidney via the angiotensin-converting enzyme 2(ACE2)pathway, the extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer(CD147)pathway, and age-related renal dysfunction, inflammatory aging, immune aging and other non-specific mechanisms, which significantly increase the risk of adverse prognosis. Therefore, the establishment of an early warning system for AKI, increasing vaccination coverage, nutritional support, treatment of primary diseases, extracorporeal supportive therapy and other control measures are particularly important to prognosis improvement. This review summarized the pathogenesis, early prevention and treatment of AKI in elderly patients with COVID-19.

Objective:
To investigate the clinical significance of tumor associated macrophages (TAM) in multiple myeloma (MM) and the relationship with angiogenesis and immunosuppression.
Methods:
Seventy cases of MM patients diagnosed from August 2015 to June 2017 were enrolled in the study as experimental group, 20 cases of benign hematological diseases (13 with iron deficiency anemia and 7 with megaloblastic anemia) patients as control group. Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of CD163, CD34 and VEGF in bone marrow samples, and flow cytometry was used to detect the proportion of regulatory T cell (Treg cells), ELISA was used to detect the level of IL-10, and the clinical features were analyzed.
Results:
①Among the 70 patients, there were 31 males and 39 females with a median age of 65 (50~78) years old. TAM infiltration density, microvascular density (MVD), VEGF expression level, Treg ratio and IL-10 level in bone marrow samples of 70 MM patients were significantly higher than those of benign hematological diseases (
