Objective:Spectrophotometer is a device to be verified obligatory in hospital. This article introduced some techniques to avoid ordinary mistakes in measurement. Methods:We introduced principle and verification regulation of spectrophotometer. Such methods as parameter configuration, proper maintenance can reduce our mistakes. Results: This article analyzed some common problems in measurement and also offered solutions. Conclusion: In the measurements of spectrophotometers, because the operators have less spectrophotometer operation experience, they often get inaccurate data which lead to an error. Conclusion: To avoid these mistakes, strictly regulate operations in spectrophotometer’s verification and proper routine maintenance are necessary.

Journal of Environment and Health 1993;0(01):-
Objective To develop a remover of formaldehyde in indoor air. Methods Activated carbon was used as the raw materials, potassium hydroxide as the activator. The activated carbon was modified through activation and impregnation. The influence factors for the formaldehyde adsorption property of activated carbons were evaluated, such as the size, activation temperature, activation time and impregnation time. Results The optimum technics conditions for developing the formaldehyde remover and the optimum conditions to absorb formaldehyde were confirmed. The mass adsorption capacity of the adsorbent was 49.6%, the BET surface area was about 1 591 m2/g and the total pore volume was 1.01 cm3/g. Conclusion The mass adsorption capacity of formaldehyde and the BET surface area of the modified activated carbon in the present paper are better than those of unmodified activated carbon.

Objective:In the clinical mechanical ventilation practice, the medical workers often set the ventilator parameters only depend on their own experience. In order to change that,we design a Closed-Loop Automatic Mechanical Ventilation Controller. Methods: Design two closed-loop control subsystems to meet the requirements of closed-loop control system. PETCO2 control subsystem used to keep the concentration of PETCO2, and another subsystem design to regulate the respiratory elasticity called PEEP control subsystem. PETCO2 control subsystem can work on its own or work with PEEP control subsystem. Results: Using this closed-loop controller, the partial CO2 pressure and respiratory elasticity of patient was regulated in real time. Conclusion:By using this closed-loop automatic mechanical ventilation controller, the respiratory elasticity was largely reduced with the adequate gas exchange. Therefore, the ventilator using this closed-loop automatic mechanical ventilation controller can improve the ventilation quality and also reduce the risk of lung injury.

Objectives To track bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs) labeled by enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) and superparamagnetic iron oxide ( SPIO ) -poly-L-lysine (PLL) compound by MRI in vitro for autotransplantation into pancreas of type 1 diabetes miniature pigs. Methods The BMSCs were isolated by density gradient centrifugation and attachment culture from type 1 diabetes minipigs' bone marrow. Expressional intensity of EGFP in BMSCs transfected lentivirus-EGFP with a multiplicity of infection Different magnetic resonance scanning protocols were carried out on various density BMSCs labeled by different concentration of SPIO in various time-point in vitro. Results When SPIO concentration was 25mg/L (count in Fe3 + ), the positive Fe3+ -labeling rate of BMSCs was 93. 1%. Most of SPIO particles in BMSCs' cytoplasm were observed in secondary lysosomes, but they were not detected in important organelle as cell nucleus. Comparing with gelatin the MRI of BMSCs labeled with SPIO in the condition with 1 ×104/ml cells density and 25 mg/L Fe3+ concentration in vitro, the signal intensity changes (△SI) after BMSCs labeled with SPIO 3 weeks and 6 weeks in TSE T1WI, TSE T2WI and FLASH T2 * WI sequences were 12%, 41%, 63% and 7%, 28%, 46% respectively (P < 0.01 and P < 0.05, respectively). Conclusions The data showed that the porcine BMSCs labeled with SPIO and EGFP could be traced successfully in vitro by MRI in the suitable sequences.

Aim Toclarifytheeffectofacteosideon proliferation of neural stem cells (NSCs ) from adult mice,as well as the involved signaling pathway.Meth-ods NSCswereisolatedfromthesubventricularzone (SVZ)of adult C57BL/6 mice, then identified by im-munofluorescence staining with Nestin, the marker of NSCs.NSCs were exposed to acteoside (5,10,20,40μmol·L-1 )in absence of mitogen(EGF/bFGF)for 24 h.We employed CCK8 assay to detect NSCs viability and BrdU staining to identify NSCs proliferation. We performed Western blot to quantify the expression level ofp-AktinducedbyacteosideonNSCs.Results With-out mitogen, acteoside increased NSCs proliferation by activating p-Akt,which can be blocked by LY294002, the inhibitor of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway.Conclu-sion ActeosidepromotestheproliferationofNSCsfrom adult mice by activating PI3K/AKT pathway.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2019;40(5):712-715
Objective:
To explore the related factors and working way of adolescent injury, and to provide a basis for the effective prevention and intervention of adolescent injury.
Methods:
The framework of the questionnaire in this study was developed based on the Social Ecology Model. A cross-sectional survey was conducted on a valid sample of 4 309 students from 8 junior high schools and 8 senior high schools in Beijing and Zhongshan city respectively, using stratified random cluster sampling method. Students from grade 7 to grade 12 were invited to participate and investigated with injury prevalence.
Results:
The incidence of adolescent injury by person and by person-time was 15.53% and 22.49% respectively, and there were differences by sex, age and regions(χ2=15.92,11.45,20.33,P<0.05). The occurrence of adolescent injury was affected by adolescent psychological behavior and social environment through different underlying pathways. The intrapersonal factors and perception of environmental safety showed direct effects on the adolescents’ injuries (effect size was 0.29 and 0.05 respectively, P<0.05).
Conclusion
Adolescent injury is associated with diverse factors and pathways in a synergistic and complex manner, suggesting that a three-dimensional and diverse strategy should be taken to intervene the injures.

Obj ective To explore the significance of serum lipoprotein and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)level for the patients with type 2 diabetic nephropathy. Methods 174 patients with type 2 diabetic mellitus were divided into diabetic mellitus group, early diabetic nephropathy group and clinical diabetic nephropathy group, according to the urinary albumin excre-tion rate (UAER).60 healthy individuals were chosen as control group.Lipoprotein (α)[Lp(α)], high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)and hs-CRP were detected, and the results were analyzed statistically. Results The level of Lp (α), hs-CRP were significantly higher in patients with diabetic mellitus than those in control group (P<0.05).Among the three groups with diabetic mellitus, the level of Lp(α)and hs-CRP got progres-sively significant higher with the increase of UAER (P<0 .05 )whereas the level of HDL-C and LDL-C did not find significant difference(P>0 .05 ).There were linear positive correlation between Lp(α),hs-CRP and UAER levels(r= 0.8069,0.8989).Conclusion Lp(α),hs-CRP levels may be related to the progression of diabetic nephropathy, and their detection had important clinical sig-nificance in early diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of type 2 diabetic nephropathy.
