Since the HLA system is one of the most complex human genetic polym- orphisms,its application in forensic medicine included disputed paternity and criminal identification,have been fairly recognized. The present paper reported the results of our study about the HLA typing in human blood stain,serum and saliva,it was concluded that:(1).The existed strong anti-complementary activity in human blood stain when the amount of complement used in microlym-phocytotoxicity inhibition test(MLIT) was incresed to 10?l,it was found that the results of HLA-All,-B 5 typing in bloodstains were all correct,and the detectable period was at least 90 days; (2).The soluble HLA-A antigens in human serum could reliable detected with MLIT;(3).The soluble HLA-A antigens were also present in the human siliva.

Objective: To study the preparation and quality control methods of Yuanhu Zhitong HBS Tablet. Methods: the suitable excipients and formulation process of Yuanhu Zhitong HBS Tablet is sieved by means of testing quantity of tetrahydropalmatine through TLC UV. Results: the beginning floating time of HBS Tablet is 3min; relative dissolution of main component tetrahydropalmatine is 32% within 3hr, 86% within 9 hr. Conclusions: the study is found to be effective in the process of Yuanhu Zhitong HBS Tablet.

AIM: To investigate the angiogenesis in the process of sarcoma 180 (S_(180)) tumor transplantation and changes of regulator factors, and explore the possible mechanism. METHODS: The S_(180) transplanted tumor in the Km mouse was used to detect the tumor angiogenesis by immunohistochemical examination of FⅧ. The levels of VEGF (V) and endostatin (E) in serum and the homogenate of tumor tissue were measured by ELISA and EIA, and the correlation between tumor weight and microvessel count (MVC) and morphology in tumor was also analyzed by multiple ANNOVA method. RESULTS: MVC, the relative count of total vessels and relative total vessel area increased with the development of transplanted S_ 180 . VEGF level in tumor tissue were higher at the 10th and 15th day than the 5th day after tumor transplantation. Endostatin in the tumor tissue and serum both reached the highest level at the 15th day, V/E ratio did not changed in this process. Furthermore, MVC, average vessel area and relative total area had a significant correlation with tumor weight. CONCLUSION: MVC increases in the development of S_(180) transplantation tumor and is related with the tumor weight; the positive regulator of angiogenesis in the tumor tissue is up-regulated during tumor growth, and the regulators in the tumor tissue maintains a relative balance.

Sometimes when the surface of denture base and the mucosa of stress-bearing area are not close well,some granules will be found at the surface of the erythema. With the world's gradually stepping into the aging society,the number of people who have to wear removable dentures is increasing,because dentition defect or edentulous affected by any reasons. As a result,how to solve the secondary disease such as denture stomatitis is becoming a hot spot which more and more researchers concern about. Objective To compare the result of T2/T3 transitional cell carcinoma (TCC) of the urinary bladder after segmental cystectomy, treated by postoperative radiation plus intravesical chemotherapy and postoperative intravesical chemotherapy alone.Methods From 1985 to Dec.1995 patients with T2/T3 TCC bladder cancer who had been treated by segmental cystectomy were eligible for this retrospective analysis. Fifty-eight patients received postoperative radiotherapy plus intravesical chemotherapy (RT+IVC) and 35 patients were given postoperative intravesical chemotherapy (IVC) with thio-TEPA or calmette-Gue'rin bacilli (BCG). For radiation,8 or 18 ?MV X-ray was given with total dose of 50-60 ?Gy. Vesicoclysis was performed on 50-60 mg thio-TEPA twice per week and 0.5 mg BCG per week.Results The 3-year local control rates of RT+IVC and IVC groups were 68.6% and 48.2% showing a difference statistically significant (? 2=4.08,P=0.044).The 3- and 5-year survival rates of RT+IVC and IVC groups were 70.7%,49.5% and 59.9%,35.7% ,showing no significant difference (? 2=1.77,P=0.184). Among the 5 year survivors of the RT+IVC patients, 78.6% had their bladder preserved. Though untoward radiation reactions were severer, they were tolerated well.Conclusions Combined radiation therapy plus intravesical chemotherapy is indicated for T2/T3 bladder cancer after segmental cystectomy. Multimodality therapy is more favored to improve both the local control and the possibility of preserving the bladder.

Objective To elucidate the role of insulin receptor and its ?-subunit autophosphorylation in evoking insulin resistance in non-obese type 2 diabetes. Methods 14 patients with non-obese type 2 diabetes and 12 healthy subjects were enrolled in this study. Insulin receptor numbers and its insulin affinity in erythrocytes were measured using radio-labelled ligand binding assay described by Comi et al. Insulin receptor autophosphorylation in erythrocytes membrane was initiated by adding insulin and ?- 32 P ATP. Then the membrane proteins were resolved on 7 5% SDS-PAGE and subjected to autoradiography. Results The numbers of high and low affinity receptors in erythrocytes of type 2 diabetes were 21?13 and 955?427 per cell respectively, and they showed no significant difference as compared with control. Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture decompression operation on the quality of life of patients with mild to moderate essential hypertension. Methods 74 cases of mild to moderate essential hypertension were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table, 4 cases were lost. Finally, a total of 70 patients were included in the data analysis. In the control group, 35 cases were given routine drug taking and health guidance, the experimental group of 35 patients increase the treatment of acupuncture decompression operation points on this basis. The two groups of patients were measured with blood pressure before and after intervention, and World Health Organization Quality of Life (WHOQOL-BREF) was used to evaluate the quality of life, and the data were analyzed. Results The scores of physiological and psychological fields in the experimental group were (15.23 ± 2.66) points and (16.68 ± 2.23) points while the control group were (13.98 ± 2.18) points, (15.25 ± 2.52) points, the difference was statistically significant (t=2.305, 2.522, P<0.05). The experimental group of social relations, environmental score were respectively (1.37 ± 2.24) points, (14.16 ± 1.24) points, while the control group were (13.29 ± 2.30) points, (13.56 ± 1.36) points, 2 groups were not statistically significant (t=0.770, 3.063, P > 0.05). The experimental group systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure were (121.43 ± 6.43) mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa), (71.74 ± 3.88) mmHg, compared with the control group were (128.34±5.72) mmHg, (76.06±4.43) mmHg. The difference was statistically significant (t=-4.753,-4.210, P<0.05).
