Objective To study the hydrogen sulfide productivity by mononuclear cells in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods Mononuclear cells were extracted from peripherial blood of 60 AF patients and 30 healthy controls. Modified methylene blue method was used to evaluate the hydrogen sulfide productivity of mononuclear cells. Results Hydrogen sulfide productivity of mononuclear cells from AF patients was 92.5%higher than that from control [10.63 (8.21~14.37) μmol/(min.g protein) vs 5.52 (4.42~8.50) μmol/(min.g protein)]. Hydrogen sulfide productivity of mononuclear cells was correlated with the left atrial transverse diameter (r = 0.276,P < 0.01), while no significant correlation was found between hydrogen sulfide and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter , left atrial anterior posterior diameter , C-reaction protein etc. Conclusion Hydrogen sulfide productivity of mononuclear cells from AF patients is promoted.

Metabotropie glutamate receptor (mGluR) 2/3 plays an important role on the nociceptive transmission from periphery to spinal cord. The previous studies demonstrated that mGluR2 can contribute to mechanical hypersensitivity and thermal hypersensitivity in rat. Therefore,in the present study,by using the immunofluorescenee histochemical technique,we try to explore that whether mGluR2 is colocalized with acid-sensing ion channel 3 (ASIC3),a muhi-modulator of mechanosensation,or transient receptor potential/vanilloid receptor subtype-1 (TRPV1),which responses for thermosensation in dorsal root ganglion (DRG).Morphological observations showed that mGluR2-immunoreactivity was mainly distributed in cellular plasma of neurons in DRG.The counting number results indicated that 35.84% of DRG neurons were mGluR2-immunoreactive (ir).On the other hand,82.61% of mGluR2-ir cells were the small-diameter neurons (diameter:<30 μm),5.79% of which were the medium-diameter neurons (diameter:30-50μm) and 11.59% of which was the large-diameter neurons (diameter:>50 tun).Furthermore,42.45% and 79.78% of mGiuR2-ir cells was individually co-localized with ASIC3-or TRPVI-ir in small-diameter neurons in the double-labeled immunofluorescence sections. The present results suggest that mGhiR2 mainly exists in small neurons of the DRG,which are regarded as nociceptors consisting of AS-and C-fibers.While mGluR2 is highly co-localized with ASIC3 and TRPV1,implying their potential relationship in DRG may be involved in mechanical hypersensitivity and thermal hypersensitivity.

Objective This study was aimed to characterize the swine leukocyte antigen( SLA) class I genes of GGTA1 -/ - Wuzhishan minipigs and compare their similarity to human leukocyte antigen( HLA) . It has important implica?tions for understanding the cellular rejection in xenotransplantation. Methods Specimens of ear tissue from six founding GGTA1 -/ - Wuzhishan minipigs were collected, and the SLA class I genes (SLA?1, SLA?3, SLA?2) were amplified by RT?PCR. Purified products were cloned into pEASY?T1 vectors and sequenced, followed by BLAST alignment and using bioin? formatc analysis to characterize the SLA class I genes and compare with the similarity to HLA. Results A total of six al?leles were detected, among them alleles were previously reported (SLA?1?0703,SLA?2?1102, SLA?3?0401, SLA?3?0403), and the other were novel (SLA?1?0401wz01, SLA?2?11wz01). The homology between alleles of SLA class I genes in Wuzhishan minipigs and HLA was from 70?5% to 72?1%. The homology analysis of critical amino acid residues on HLA binding with human CD8 + molecules showed that SLA?1?0401wz01, SLA?1?0703, SLA?2?11wz01, SLA?2?1102 and SLA?3?0401 occurred mutant at amino acid positions 225 and 228 ( T→S,T→M) , whereas the other loci were highly conserved. There was a high homology at amino acid level between SLA?2?11wz01, SLA?2?1102 and HLA class I genes which are NK cell KIRs binding sites. Conclusions The amino acid sequences of SLA class I genes of GGTA1 -/ -Wuzhishan minipigs have a high homology to HLA. From the point of view of cell?mediated xenograft rejection, the amino acid sequences of SLA class I genes of GGTA1 -/ - Wuzhishan minipigs have a high homology to HLA, therefore, Wzhishan minipigs may become a good potential donor for pig?human xenotransplantation.

Anesthesiology rotation is an important part in resident standardization training of surgery. However, there are many problems in the teaching process. For example, the key points of teaching is not clear, the process of teaching is not coherent, and teachers and students lack interaction. The Rotation Record is introduced in order to solve those problems. The Rotation Record effectively reflects the fundamental process and major learning point of anesthesiology department which contains three items: the usage and recording of instrument; the communication and the basic knowledge and operating skills of anesthesia. The Rotation Record can initiate learning activity, emphasize important contents, supervise and urge teaching and improve the learning effect. By introducing Rotation Record, the assessment results in the surgical residency in anesthesiology has greatly improved compared to the previous ones, and has effectively improved the teaching quality of anesthesia.
7.Effect of systematic nursing interventions on the mistake aspiration and reflux in patients with cervical vertebral fracture combined with high amputation
Journal of Clinical Medicine in Practice 2014;(22):61-63
ABSTRACT:Objective To explore the influence of systematic nursing interventions on the mistake aspiration and reflux in patients with cervical vertebral fracture combined with high amputa-tion.Methods A total of 50 patients with cervical vertebral fracture combined with high amputa-tion were randomly divided into control group treated with routine treatment and observation group added with systematic nursing,29 cases for each. The differences of reflux, mistake aspiration and aspiration pneumonia in both groups were observed. Results The rates of reflux, mistake aspira-tion and aspiration pneumonia were evidently lower in observation group than in control group (P <0.05).15 patients in observation group and 17 in control group were given nasal feeding, during which time the observation group was apparently lower in respiratory frequency (P <0.01)and ob-viously higher in oxyhemoglobin saturation (P <0.01).Conclusion Systematic nursing can effec-tively reduce the risks of mistake aspiration and reflux in patients with cervical vertebral fracture combined with high amputation, which serves to be referred.

Objective To investigate the association of serum interleukin-6 and interleukin-18 concentration in patients with meta-bolic syndrome (MS), and explore the role of inflammtory markers in these patients. Methods 83 patients with MS were enrolled into study group, among of them, 47 were male and 36 were female, their average was 48.95±10. 17 years. The control group was made of 85 normal volunteers. The levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG), fasting insulin, plasma lipids, interleukin-6 and interleukin-18 were meas-ured in all the patients and normal subjects. The insulin sensitive index was calculated. The levels of the fasting blood inflammatory markers were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the HOMA-βof the MS group was significantly de-creased, but the levels of IL-18 and IL-6 were significantly increased. The serum IL-18 levels were positive correlated with FPG, FINS, TG, HOMA-IR, IL-6. Conclusion There are IR and abnormal serum level of IL-18 and IL-6 in patients with MS. It has an intimate association between abnormal serum IL-18 and IR. The inflammatory reaction may play an important role in the development of IR in patients with MS.
