Objective To explore the effect and lung function of the budesonide combined with montelukast for treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and the effect on serum IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-α.Methods 120 patients with COPD in our hospital from April 2012 to December 2013 were randomly divided into observation group and control group (n =60 ).Observation group was given budesonide combined with montelukast on the basis of general routine treatment and control group was given budesonide on the basis of general routine treatment. The lung function and the level of IL-6、IL-8 and TNF-αin serum were detected berore and after treatment. Results The efficacy in observation group was significantly better than that in control group(P<0.05).The forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),maximal mid expiratory flow(MMEF),and peak expiratory flow(PEF)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05 ).In addition, after treatment the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and TNF-αexpression in serum of the observation group and control group were significantly lower than before treatment, but the levels of the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than the control group, the difference were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of the budesonide combined with montelukast for treatment of COPD is exact by reducing cytokine release, controling airway inflammation to improve the lung function. It is worthy to be popularized.

Objective To compare the hemostatic efficacies of radial artery balloon and spinning hemostat in elderly patients after radial artery intervention. Methods Eighty elderly patients undergoing transradial coronary intervention were randomly divided into balloon and spinning hemostat groups, with 40 cases in each group. After operation, balloons and spinning hemostats were used for hemostasis, respectively. The two groups were compared in terms of hemostatic effect, comfort degree and incidence of complications. Results These was no difference in hemostatic effect between the two groups(P>0.05).The balloon hemostat group was better than the spinning hemostat in respect of comfort degree. The incidences of ischemia and vagal reflex in the balloon hemostat group were significantly lower than the spinning hemostat group(P<0.05).Conclusion The balloon hemostat for radial artery intervention is more suitable for elderly patients undergoing oral treatment.

Objective To investigate the current formaldehyde pollution levels in the decoration materials in Beijing. Methods Some of the detecting samples were collectted selectively by sampling and some were provided by the manufacturers voluntarily. The contents of formaldehyde in the samples were determined according to the National Standard Detecting Method for the threshold of harmful substances in decoration materials. Results The emission levels of formaldehyde in 15 of 27 man-made board samples were higher than 1.5 mg/L and the rate exceeding the national standard was 56%. The formaldehyde emission level from 1 of the 4 wall-dope samples was higher than the national standard. In 7 gooey samples, the content of formaldehyde in 1 sample was higher than the national standard. The detecting results of 3 wallpaper samples were all accorded with the national hygienic standard. Conclusion The results of this investigation indicated that some problems did exist in the current decoration materials made in our country. The relatively serious problem among them was that the emission level of formaldehyde from the man-made boards and its related products was much higher than the national standard.

Objective To research the optimal test condition for determining TVOC in air based on GB 50325-2001 Code for Indoor Environmental Pollution Control of Civil Building Engineering. Methods Seven kinds of standard gas (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, p-dimethylbenzene, m-dimethylbenzene, ethenylbenzene and o-dimethylbenzene) were injected into Tenax-TA sampling tube, then heated for different time and pyrolyzed for different time. Results Tenax-TA sampling tube was heated for 30 seconds and pyrolyzed for 90 seconds. The recovery rate of seven kinds of compounds was more than 90%. Relative standard deviation was less than 10%. Conclusion The optimal test condition for determining TVOC in air has been presented in this paper. The precision and sample recovery rate will meet the requirement of indoor air quality standard annex A Indoor Air Monitoring Technology.

In this study, the effect of heparin-derived oligosaccharide (HDO) on platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) induced vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) proliferation and the related signal transduction mechanisms were investigated. MTT assays were used to measure VSMCs proliferation. Cell cycle distribution was analyzed by flow cytometry. The level of key regulatory proteins in PKC, MAPK and Akt/PI3K pathways were determined by RT-PCR, Western blot and immunocytochemical methods. Meanwhile, mRNA expressions of some proto-oncogenes were assayed by RT-PCR method. Our data showed that HDO (0.01, 0.1 and 1 μmol · L(-1)) inhibited 30 ng · mL(-1) PDGF-induced VSMCs proliferation in a dose-dependent manner, blocked the G1/S transition and inhibited the level of key regulatory proteins and some proto-oncogenes (P < 0.05). The results showed that HDO may decrease the key regulatory proteins expression, hence suppress the transcription of proto-oncogene and G1/S transition, finally inhibiting VSMCs proliferation.

Objective To explore the MSCT manifestations of pulmonary focal ground-glass opacity (GGO)nodules with differ-ent pathological types. Methods The thin-layer CT images of 87 patients with GGO nodules were retrospectively reviewed.Of them, 57 cases were confirmed by surgery and pathology, including 8 inflammations,2 benign tumors,1 1 adenomatous hyperplasias (AAH),1 9 carcinomas in situ (AIS),and 1 7 adenocarcinomas. The other 30 cases were followed up without surgery. Results Blur edge was found in 6 of the 8 inflammations (75.0%).However,the organized pneumonias showed large irregular shape with clear edge.Of 30 pre-infiltrating lesions (AAH or AIS),28 (93.3%)were ranged from 0.8 cm to 2.0 cm,26 (86.7%)were round or nearly round,25 (83.8%)showed clear edge, and 25 (83.8%)had blood vessels penetrated signs.Of 17 adenocarcinomas,15 (88.2%) were larger than 2.0 cm,13 (76.5%)showed irregular or lobular shape,8 (47.0%)showed coarse edge, and 10 (58.8%)had pleural indentation signs.Of 36 AISs and adenocarcinomas,9 were solid components (specificity of 95.2%),5 had vacuole signs (specificity of 95.2%),and 13 had penetrated and enlarged blood vessels (specificity of 100%).Conclusion There are characteristic MSCT appearances for different pathological types of GGOs.

Objective To investigate the expression of transcription factor Oct 4 in gastric carcinoma and its effects on gastric cancer cell proliferation and apoptosis after Oct 4 gene interfered by lentivirus vector. Methods Real time PCR and Western blot were used to observe the expression of Oct 4 in different differentiated gastric cancer cell lines.Gastric cancer cell lines with high expression of Oct 4 was cultured and infected by siRNA-Oct 4-lentivirus vector.Cell proliferation and apoptosis were observed after Oct 4 gene was interfered. Results Oct 4 was highly expressed in poorly and moderately differentiated gastric cancer cells.Gene interfered with siRNA inhibits the expression of Oct 4 in gastric cancer cells and show significant effects on cell proliferation and mobility as well as apoptosis after down-regulation of Oct 4.Condusions Oct 4 expression is in close relationship with gastric cancer cell proliferation and invasive ability.
