4.Assessment of Function of a Single Limb after Injury.
Journal of Forensic Medicine 2015;31(5):356-358
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the method for the objective evaluation of single limb function after in- jury in forensic medical practice.
METHODS:
The score of activities of daily living (ADL) were graded for a single limb function after injury from 47 cases. All cases were simultaneously evaluated using the different methods including Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment (FMA), weighting, look-up table (LUT). The correlation were compared between ADL and the other three methods.
RESULTS:
Injured part and the score using the three methods were correlated with ADL score (P < 0.05). The correlation coeffi- cient (|r| value) showed highest using LUT method, and lowest using FMA method.
CONCLUSION
The loss function of limb is affected by the injuried parts. The methods of FMA, weighting and LUT show a good accuracy for evaluating the limb function after injury and the correlation presents higher using LUT method.

5.Clinical application of solution focused approach in the functional gastrointestinal disorders
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(34):8-11
Objective To application of solution focused approach in the functional gastrointestinal disorders. Methods 64 hospitalized clients with functional gastrointestinal disorders were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 32 cases in each group. We applied the normal nursing intervention to the control group, while applied the solution focused approach to the observation group. The anxiety and depression score, score of coping way and gastrointestinal symptoms were evaluated using t test. Results The scores of anxiety and depression, coping way and gastrointestinal symptoms were better in the observation group than those in the control group. Conclusions Adoption of solution focused approach can relieve FGID sufferers'negative emotion, such as anxiety and depression, increase sufferers' coping capacity and symptoms, which demonstrate pivotal significance for rehabilitation of functional gastrointestinal disorders.
6.Correlating glutathione S-transferase P1-105 genetic polymorphisms to human exercise capacity in the high altitude environment
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(33):6593-6596
BACKGROUND:Glutathione S-transferase can get rid of active oxygen and enhance organism's antioxidative capability.OBJECTIVE:To analyze the association between glutathione S-transferase P1-105 (GSTP1-105)genetic polymorphisms and human exercise capacity in the high altitude environment.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A controlled analysis was performed in the PLA Institute of Physical Education in 2007.PARTICIPANTS:A total of 86 professional mountain climbers who had strong physical performance in the high altitude environment served as experimental subjects. An additional 90 healthy students randomly selected from the PLA Institute of Physical Education served as controls.METHODS:Blood sample was taken from 86 experimental subjects and 90 healthy controls for extraction of genome DNA.GSTP1-105 genetic polymorphisms were detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis.Distribution of GSTP1-105 alleles and genotypes were compared between experimental and control subjects.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Distribution of GSTP1-105 genotype.RESULTS:Totally 3 GSTP1-105 genotypes were detected:homozygous genotype of the A allele (NA,also called wide type genotype),heterozygous genotype (NG),and homozygous genotype of the G allele (G/G).The frequency of the G allele and variant genotype (A/G+G/G)were significantly lower in the experimental than in the control subjects (P<0.01).Variant genotype (A/G+G/G)was taken as an exposure factor, then OR=2.19 and 95% CI=1.16-4.13,indicating that in the high altitude environment, the exercise capacity in individuals with GSTP1-105 variant genotype was decreased by 1.19 times than that in individuals with GSTP1-105 wide type genotype.CONCLUSION:GSTP1-105 genetic polymorphisms correlate to human exercise capacity in the high altitude environment.Subjects with wide type genotype have exercise predominance.

With the development of imaging medicine and various surgical techniques, many new theories and techniques have been developed. Its overall treatment effect is satisfactory, but the serious surgical complications not rare. This article reviews the progress in treatment of cervical spinal canal tumors, in order to provide a reference for the further improvement of cervical spinal canal tumors treatment .
9.Impact of parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility on children's health in the future
Chinese Journal of Health Management 2012;(6):367-370
Objective To assess the impact of parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility on children's mental health so as to provide evidence for improving health equity. Methods Chinese general social survey 2005 (CGSS2005) dataset was used for multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).Results The proportion of children whose father or mother was of lowerclass occupation was 59.0% and 62.9%,respectively.When grew up,this figure dropped to 49.8%.Those whose father was in the higher-class occupational group reported better mental health status (F =1.449,P=0.015).Downward occupational class mobility experience also increased the risk of mental illness (F =3.050,P =0.048).Conclusion This study suggests an independent relationship between mental health and parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility.
