Objective To describe the depression of premature infants′ mothers and discuss the related influence factors. Methods A total of 86 premature infants′ mothers completed Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale at 3-days postpartum in this descriptive study during August 2014 to January 2015 in Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University. Results The prevalence of postpartum depression in premature infants′ mothers was 25.6% (22/86). Educational levels, family support, character, and number of abortion of mothers, pregnancy complication, gestational age, birth weight, Apgar score, length of hospitalization, and birth with abnormalities of premature infants were found significantly associated with postpartum depression (P<0.05). By Logistic regression, family support (OR=3.253, 95% CI=1.180-8.966) and length of hospitalization (OR=2.905, 95% CI=1.418-5.952) were the risk factors of the postpartum depression at 3-days after delivery. Conclusions Premature infants′mothers at 3-days postpartum presented with obvious postpartum depression. Psychological intervention should be focused on its influence factors.

Objective To investigate the safety and efficacy of stent insertion combined with high-intensity focused ultrasound(HIFU) ablation for malignant obstructive jaundice caused by pancreatic carcinoma.Methods From January 2013 to February 2017,a total of 80 patients with malignant obstructive jaundice caused by pancreatic carcinoma underwent biliary stent insertion in our center,who were divided into combined treatment(stent insertion with HIFU ablation) group(n=38) and solitary stent insertion group(n=42).The stent patency time and survival time were compared between the two groups.Results Relief of jaundice were archived in all patients in both groups.Cholangitis was observed in 7 cases in both two groups.Reobstruction of stent was observed in 15 patients in both two groups.The median stent patency time was 179 days in combined treatment group and 119 days in solitary stent insertion group(P<0.01);the median survival time was 209 days in combined treatment group and 145 days in solitary stent insertion group,the differences were significant(P<0.01).Based on the univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses,the predictors of prolonging survival included subsequent HIFU ablation after stent insertion and earlier tumor stage(P<0.05).Conclusion Combined biliary stent insertion and HIFU ablation is a safe and effective method for malignant obstructive jaundice caused by pancreatic carcinoma,and seems to extend stent patency time and survival when compared with biliary stent only.

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of arthroscopic synovectomy for tuberculous synovitis of the knee. Methods Ten patients with tuberculous synovitis received arthroscopic biopsy and synovectomy. Postoperatively, isoniazid was injected into the articular cavity, and systemic antituberculosis drugs were administrated. Results These patients received continuous passive motion (CPM) from the second postoperative day. Objective:To evaluate the application value of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) in guiding the postoperative radiothera-py plan of the gliomas adjacent to the corticospinal tract (CST). Methods:Thirty patients with gliomas adjacent to the CST underwent routine magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast-enhanced scanning and DTI after radiotherapy. Tractography data sets were ac-quired and were fused with the images of corresponding anatomical MRI and computed tomography. The acquired data sets of radio-therapy planning system were imported to assist with the delineation of the target volume, organs at risk, and CST. Two sets of radio-therapy plan, which considered or did not consider the dose protective effect of the CST, were formulated and compared using the treat-ment technique of intensity modulated radiotherapy. Results:The protective radiotherapy and unprotected plans both achieved the thera-peutic dose to the target volume and the protection of the routine organs at risk. In the protective dose (with an optimization program that considered the dose reduction of CST), the maximum and mean radiation doses suffered by the patients' ipsilateral and contra-later-al CSTs were lower compared with the unprotected plan (P<0.05). Conclusion:DTI can identify the location and shape of CSTs, and their relationship with the postoperative radiotherapy target of gliomas. These findings contribute to the formulation of a protective ra-diotherapeutic regimen to keep the CST from the maximum and the mean radiation doses to the largest extent, thereby decreasing the possibility of nerve damage after radiotherapy.

Objective To test and verify the performance of analyzing IgG using nephelometry assay,and discuss reasonable model of performance verification of this system.Methods According to related documents and standards,this study verified the precision,accuracy,assay measurement range(AMR)and reference interval.Results The within-run precision in low level was 2.24%,while it was 2.73% in high level.The overall precision in low level was 2.25%,while it was 2.68%.The relative bias between the results of analyzing the calibrator with a different lot from that used for calibrating and its concen-tration printed was 5.18%.The AMR of the original dilution was 2.44~33.5 g/L.The results of reference interval verifica-tion identified with what the manufactur declares.Conclusion The major performances of analyzing IgG by this system are identifies with the manufactur declares.The reference interval offered by the manufactur is acceptable.The verification and calculation methods are simple and convenient,with strong operability.

Objective To assess the value of susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI)in the diagnosis of different cerebral diseases complicated with cerebral microbleeds (CVBs)and cerebral vascular malformations (CVMs).Methods The MRI data of 76 cases with CMBs and 25 cases with CVMs were retrospectively analyzed and the data were translated as follows:(1 )To compare the counts and detecting sensitivity of CMBs on routine MRI sequences (T1 WI,T2 WI,T2 FLAIR,DWI)with SWI.(2)To assess the difference of SWI,MIP and Phase in detecting the size,counts,intensity and edge features of CMBs.(3)To assess the advantages of SWI in the diagnosis of different CVMs.Results (1)In all 1 524 CMBs detected on SWI,294,87,361,391 CMBs were detected on T1 WI,T2 WI,T2 FLAIR and DWI respectively.The sensitivities were 19.3%,5.7%,23.7% and 5.7% on T1 WI,T2 WI,T2 FLAIR and DWI respectively.It was of statistical significance (P <0.05)in the counts and detecting sensitivity on different MRI sequences.(2) 1 524 and 1 539 CMBs were detected on SWI and MIP respectively.CMBs showed oval,dotted hypointensity or hypointensity domi-nated mixed intensity lesions which were ≤10 mm in size on SWI and MIP.1 521 CMBs were detected on Phase,which appeared as hyperintensity or hyperintensity dominated mixed intensity lesions.MIP and SWI were similar in detecting the size,counts and edge features of CMBs.And Phase was inferior compared with MIP and SWI .(3)12 cases of cerebral venous malformation were detec-ted,which all appeared as the classic Medusa head sign on SWI.6 cases of intracerebral capillary telangiectasia were detected , which were characterized as multiple small rounded even hypointense lesions ortarget signon SWI .2 cases of arteriovenous malformation (AVM)were detected on SWI,in which one case only showed multiple small vessels and gross drainage vein,and the other showed clear nidus and gross drainage veins into the sigmoid sinus.4 cases of cerebral cavernous angioma were detected.Mulberry sign, which was characterized as dotted mixed intensity lesion with hypointense ring,was noted in all the cases on SWI.One case of Sturge-Weber syndrome was detected,which showed gyriform low signal lesion on MIP imaging.And many broadened,tortuous veins in the cerebral hemispheres and near the tentorium were also noted.Conclusion SWI can be used as an important sequence for detecting CMBs.Different CVMs show their specific signs in SWI sequence.Combined with conventional MRI sequences an accurate diagnosis can be achieved most of the time.

Furthermore, the research and progress on protein engineering of feed phytase was reviewed, including phytase over-expression, phytase thermostability, catalytic efficiency and optimum pH.

By taking the course of laboratory hematology in Curtin University in Australia as an ex-ample, this paper introduced the characteristics of its teaching mode, teaching contents, teaching methods, assessment methods and laboratory practice. The advantages and disadvantages of education characteristics between Australia and China were compared and analyzed on the training methods and the training objec-tives, respectively. The education characteristics of laboratory hematology in Curtin University provided an important inspiration for our education reform in the field of medical laboratory in the future.
