Objective To compare the clinical outcomes of different drains in total knee arthroplasty. Methods Fifty-five patients, who had accepted primary unilateral total knee arthroplasty from October 2010 to November 2012,were included in the comparative study.Based on different drainage ways,25 patients were arranged into autotransfusion drain group,18 into routine drain group, and 12 into delayed drain group.Same operative procedure and postoperative care were provided to all patients. The total amount of postoperative drainage (including intraoperative blood loss),information of allogenic blood transfusion, body temperatures of patients on postoperative 1st,3rd,7th day,pre-and post-operative hemoglobin level, and postoperative swelling, wound healing quality and range of motion were recorded and compared. Results The amount of drainage was significantly more in autotransfusion drain group (799.2±196.7ml)than those in other two groups (381.7±129.2 ml in delayed drain group and 666.1±155.0ml in routine drain group). The postoperative hemoglobin level in delayed drain group (91.50±7.92 g/L)was similar to that in autotransfusion group (91.96±9.57 g/L),while significantly higher than that in routine drain group (81.33±9.86 g/L).The highest body temperature of patients in autotransfusion drain group was higher than those in other two groups.Allogenic blood transfusion was performed in 8 patients (44.4%) in routine drain group,4 patients (16.0%) in autotransfusion drain group and 2 patients (16.7%) in delayed drain group. There were no differences between groups in swelling, wound healing quality, and range of motion. Conclusion Delayed release of drain in total knee arthroplasty could reduce blood loss, chances of allogenic blood transfusion and postoperative fever, and extra cost, which can bring more benefits to patients.

Objective To explore distally-based the interal ankle perforator saphenou neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap has been universally adopted for the repairment of the foot and the ankle soft-tissue defects. Methods Lay a foundation of anatomic studying, using the interal ankle perforator saphenous neuro-venofasciocutaneous flap 10 cases, the flap axis point was 1-3 cm above the pink of the interal ankle, average 2 cm. The scope of the flap were 4.0 cm× 3.0 cm-8.0 cm× 6.0 cm. Results All the perforator saphenous neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap were lively. About all, 2 cases had the small distant part necrosis, 1 case accompanying with subcutaneous tissue heels after change dressings, another heels after skin grating. All case can walk as usual, the flap had wear-resisting and keenly feel. Conclusion Distally-based the interal ankle perforator saphenous neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap, near ankle, donner area exiting fine, utlizing scope large, skin nice, grating easy, no hurting important blood vessle, alive rate high, it is an good donner area in repairing the foot and the ankle soft-tissue defects.

Objective:To investigate the effect of metformin and arsenic trioxide on KG1a cells proliferation of acute myeloid leukemia and its possible mechanism.Methods:CCK-8 method was used to detect the killing effect of metformin, arsenic trioxide and combined application on KG1a cells.Annexin V-FITC/P1 Dual Stain Flow Cytometry was used to detect the effect of combined application on apoptosis of KG1 a cells.Western blot was used to detect the expression of intracellular apoptosis-,autophagy-related protein. Results:Metformin and arsenic trioxide alone or in combination could inhibit the proliferation of KG1 a cells and induce apoptosis of KG1 a cells, and the proliferation inhibition rate and apoptosis rate in the combined drug group were higher than those in the drug group alone(P<0.05).The combination of drugs induced upregulation of Caspase 8 protein and P62 protein expression and was higher than that in the drug group alone(P<0.05).Conclusion:Metformin can synergize with arsenic trioxide to kill KG1a cells, and its mechanism of action may be related to inducing apoptosis and enhancing autophagy.

Objective To study the detection rate of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) with different perfusion methods on rabbit VX2 small hepatocellular carcinoma less than 10.0 mm. Methods VX2 tumor cells were inoculated into the subcutaneous tissue of New Zealand rabbit′s thigh. Then the plant tumor were cut into small blocks under sterile conditions and transplanted into hepatic parenchyma in 30 New Zealand rabbits. The contrast media was injected through peripheral vein by single and double perfusion methods. The detection rate of two methods were compared. Results There were 41 hepatocellular carcinoma lesions in the 30 rabbits. There were 15 lesions with size between 3.0 mm and 5.0 mm, and 26 lesions between 5.0 mm and 10.0 mm in diameter. On CEUS, the VX2 tumor presented fast-in and fast-out pattern. In arterial phase, the lesion was enhanced rapidly. In portal venous phase, contrast began to wash out from the carcinoma. In delay phase, the enhancement of lesion was signiifcantly lower than the surrounding normal liver parenchyma. A total of 32 lesions were detected by single perfusion method, including 7 lesions ranging 3.0-5.0 mm and 25 lesions ranging 5.0-10.0 mm. A total of 39 lesions were detected by double perfusion method, including 13 lesions ranging 3.0-5.0 mm and 26 lesions ranging 5.0-10.0 mm. The detection rate of micro-hepatocellular carcinoma by single and double perfusion method was 78% and 95% respectively. The difference was statistically signiifcant (χ2=5.150, P=0.023). The detection rate of 3.0-5.0 mm lesions by single and double perfusion method was 47%and 87%, respectively. The difference was statistically signiifcant ( χ2=5.400, P=0.025). The detection rate of 5.0-10.0 mm lesions by single and double perfusion method was 96% and 100%, respectively. There was no statistically signiifcant difference (χ2=1.020, P=0.500). Conclusion The double perfusion method greatly promotes the detection of micro hepatocellular carcinoma, especially for the lesions less than 5.0 mm in diameter.

This paper describes the design of the printing output function for a multi-parameter patient monitor by using the graphic plot function of a Laser Printer. The ECG data are preprocessed with a notch filter and interpolation algorithm. A logical page is constructed in the extended memory for virtual page printing. This monitor is able to output a satisfied printing with ECG waveforms of high quality.
