1.Effect of scalp acupunction on children with cerebral palsy
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(5):302-303
ObjectiveTo observe the effect of the scalp acupunction on children with cerebral palsy.Methods56 cases with cerebral palsy were divided into two groups: the treating group(scalp acupuncture and modern rehabilitation) and the control group(modern rehabilitation only) with 28 cases each. The ADL and the motion function were compared. ResultsThere is a significant defference between the two groups on the ADL, while no significant defference was observed on motor function between the two groups. Conclusions Scalp acupuncture is effective on improvment of ADL of the children with cerebral palsy.
2.Analysis of picture of the tongue on uroschesis patients after acute spinal cord injury
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2002;8(10):600-601
ObjectiveTo study and find out the mechanism of uroschesis in Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods111 cases's picture of tougue were observed and recorded.ResultsPale tongue with white and yellow coating occurred in common. Conclusions The picture of the tongue plays a role in finding out TCM mechanism of uroschesis.
3.Comparation of gastrointestinal absorption studies of specnuezhenide with salidroside in rats.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(6):1107-1110
The experiment was designed to study the mechanism of increasing efficiency of Ligustrum lucidum steamed with wine. Rats in vivo with gastrointestinal perfusion model were used. The contents of salidroside and specnuezhenide in the fluid of gastrointestinal perfusion of rats were measured by HPLC at different time points after dosing. Then the K(a) and absorption percentage were calculated. Specnuezhenide could be detected in the fluid of gastrointestinal perfusion of specnuezhenide. The K(a) of the specnuezhenide and salidroside in the fetal intestines are 0.055 3 and 0.144 2 h(-1) respectively and the total absorptivity are 24.46% and 60.14% respectively after 4 hours. The K(a) in the stomach are 5.70 and 8.26 h(-1) respectively and the total absorptivity are 34.21% and 47.23% respectively after 4 hours. The experiment proved that specnuezhenide can be metabolized into salidroside which is more beneficial for gastrointestinal absorption. The experiment proved that specnuezhenide can be metabolized into salidroside both in the rat's stomach and the fetal intestine and compared with the specnuezhenide salidroside is more conducive to gastrointestinal absorption. The results suggested that the increasing efficiency on liver and kidney of L. lucidum steamed with wine has business with the fact that Specnuezhe nide is more conducive to the body after it is changed into salidroside.

Objeetive To explore the analgesic and hemostatic effect of lidocaine gelatin fiber used after endoscopic sinus surgery. Methods 86 patients underwent endoscopic sinus surgery were randomly divided into A and B groups. In A group,20% lidocaine gelatin fiber and expansion hemostatic sponge was packed into 43 patients' nasalcavity, while in B group, only expansion hemostatic sponge was packed.Nasal bleeding in patients while packed material within 24 hours and when extracted the material were observed. The analgesic effects were evaluated after packing material 1,6,12,and 24 hours after surgery. Results In A group, the amount of bleeding was (16.30 ± 5.19)ml,while the amount was(32.30 ± 12.09) ml in group B.Statistical analysis showed significant difference(t =7.97,P <0.05).There were no significant differences in nasal bleeding when extracted the stuffing and in analgesic efficiency 1hour after surgery. But the analgesic efficiency of lidocaine gelatin fiber was 20%,which was better than expansion hemostatic sponge 6 ~24 hours after surgery (t =27.163,29.091,16.241,all P < 0.05).Conclusion Lidocaine gelatin fiber not only had better hemostasis, but also had better analgesia than expansion hemostatic sponge after endoscopic sinus surgery.

Objective To explore the effects of 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy stilbene-2-β-D-glycoside(TSG)on the over-expression and aggregation of α-synuclein in vitro. Methods TSG in different concentrations was incubated with α-synuclein transgenic COS-7 cells for 24 h.The cell viability was measured by MTT method. The expression of α-synuclein protein was determined by immunocytochemistry and Western blotting method. Results Incubation of TSG at the range of 12.5~200.0 μmol/L with α-synuclein transgenic COS-7 cells for 24 h did not influence cell viability, but a dose-dependently inhibition for the over-expression of α-synuclein protein could be observed in the tests of immunocytochemistry and Western blotting. Conclusion TSG can inhibit the over-expression of α-synuclein protein in COS-7 cells in vitro.

Aim To observe the effects of the ethyl ace-tate extract from Coreopsis tinctoria on glucose and lipid metabolism and liver, kidney function in diabetic rats. Method By high-sugar, high-fat diet combined with intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin ( streptozoto-cin, STZ ) Type 2 diabetes SD rat model was estab-lished. Model rats were randomly divided into six groups ( control group, model group, three dose groups Coreopsis tinctoria extract:low, middle, high 0. 15 g· kg-1;0. 3 g·kg-1;0. 6 g·kg-1 , positive drug met-formin 0. 16 g · kg-1 group ) . The control group and the model group were given physiological saline and the remaining groups intragastric administration coreofosis tinctoria extrat. Random blood glucose and body weight of rats were measured weekly. After 4 weeks of admin-istration, The rats were killed and rat serum was col-lected to detect serum lipids ( TC/TG/HDL/LDL ) , liver and renal function indicators, serum insulin, and glycated hemoglobin levels. Result Coreopsis tincto-ria ethyl acetate extract effectively reduced the diabetic rats random blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, serum triglycerides, LDL, total serum protein, serum creati-nine and uric acid levels, and increased serum white protein content in diabetic rats. Conclusion Coreop-sis tinctoria ethyl acetate extract can reduce blood glu-cose and lipid in diabetic SD rats and protect their liver and kidney function.
