1.Attach importance to rational application of drugs after metabolic surgery
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2015;14(7):528-530
Metabolic surgery have the ideal weight loss effect, can maintain the long-term ideal weight, and its effects on blood glucose control is better than the simple medical treatment. Therefore, metabolic surgery received widespread attention in China.More and more patients undergo metabolic surgery, but the surgeons often pay attention to the operation, neglecting the use of drugs after surgery. The patients are always complicated with a lack of vitamin and metabolic syndrome, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, polycystic ovary, sleep apnea, cardiovascular disease.Patients have taken drugs before surgery can cause esophageal reflux, ulcer, anemia, loss of calcium and other complications, patients need to be supplied with vitamins and minerals after surgery. So more attention should be paid to the rational application of drugs after surgery,to prevent adverse reactions from improper use of drugs, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.

China Oncology 2001;0(03):-
Background and purpose:Glut functioning as a vehicle for transferring glycose into cell, plays an important role in strengthening the glycometabolism process of malignant tumor.HIF-1?,a crucial transcriptional control gene in signaling cell to adapt to anaerobic microenvironment, can activate the expression of many anaerobic-responding genes which includes the expression of Glut1 gene,in order to supply energy for tumor under hypoxia. Our aim was to investigate the expression and clinical significance of Glut1 protein and HIF-1? protein as well as the correlation between them in human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Methods :Immunohistochemical staining: EnVision method was used to detect the expression of Glut1 and HIF-1? in 45 cases with human hepatocellular carcinoma, and in 11 cases with normal hepatic tissue. Results :The positive expression rate of Glut1(66.7%) and HIF-1?(73.3%) in human hepatocellular carcinoma was higher than that in normal hepatic tissue(P
3.Changes in peripheral blood CD14dimCD16+ monocyte count and serum C- reactive protein level in elderly patients with chronic heart failure
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2017;37(3):423-426
Objective · To observe the changes in peripheral blood CD14dimCD16+ monocyte count and serum C-reactive protein (CRP) level in elderly patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and analyze the relationship between these changes and the cardiac function of patients. Methods · 42 elderly patients with CHF (the CHF group, consisting of 18 cases of NYHA cardiac function grade Ⅱ , 18 cases of NYHA cardiac function grade Ⅲ , and 6 cases of NYHA cardiac function grade Ⅳ) and 25 healthy elderly people (the control group) were enrolled. Peripheral blood CD14dimCD16+ monocyte count, serum CRP level, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDD) were measured and statistical analysis was performed. Results · CD14dimCD16+ monocyte count and serum CRP level were significantly higher in the CHF group than in the control group (P<0.05). In the CHF group, the CD14dimCD16+ monocyte count, serum CRP level, and LVEDD of NYHA grade Ⅳ patients were significantly higher than those of NYHA grade Ⅱ patients, while their LVEF was remarkably lower than that of NYHA grade Ⅱ patients. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Correlation analysis results showed that peripheral blood CD14dim CD16+ monocyte count and serum CRP level were positively correlated with LVEDD (r =0.37, r =0.45, P<0.05) and negatively correlated with LVEF (r =-0.56, r =-0.33, P<0.05) in the CHF group. Conclusion · The deterioration of elderly patients with CHF is associated with inflammation and the monocyte dysfunction may exist in the heart failure process. Peripheral blood CD14dim CD16+ monocyte count and serum CRP level are expected to be novel biomarkers that can reflect the severity of heart failure.
4.Biosafety and biocompatibility of a variety of biological materials
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(38):7559-7562
OBJECTIVE: To discuss the biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials. METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI, CBM and VIP as well as manual search were performed to collect articles about random cell control experiments and animal experiments of biological material biocompatibility published between 1990 and 2008. A total of 28 Chinese literatures were collected, and 7 were included mainly involving the cytotoxicity test methods and blood compatibility of the experimental medium, experimental grouping, experimental materials, methods of observation, experimental results, and experimental conclusion. In addition, biocompatibility of the biological material was analyzed to summarize the biocompatibility of the biological safety. RESULTS: Based on experiments of biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials, the cytotoxicity test and blood compatibility of various biomaterials, such as collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, are essential for the biological safety. The experimental results have shown that the biomaterials have good biocompatibility. CONCLUSION: A variety of biological materials present good biocompatibility, including collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, based on the evaluation criteria.

7.Related factors in influencing remission of type 2 diabetes after bariatric surgery
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 2015;(7):629-633
Type 2 diabetes(T2DM) is the collective result of insulin resistance in both muscle and liver andβ cell function failure. Traditional pharmaceutical therapy fails in ceasing progressive decline in β cell function. Bariatric surgery has been widely accepted as an efficient measure to treat diabetes. However, the prevalent standards mainly based on body mass index can not meet the demand for promoting remission rate. Related factors should be included in prediction of post-operative remission, like end-point setting, T2DM status, biochemical index, and operative method etc. The combination of these factors can be used to benefit more patients with diabetes.
8.The particularity of female coronary heart disease and the thinking way of its diagnosis and treatment by integrative medicine.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(3):362-365
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a major disease greatly harmful to the health of human beings. The incidence and case fatality rate of female CHD show an increasing tendency due to lack of enough attention. Through analyzing the epidemiology, risk factors, and clinical characteristics of female CHD, we emphasized that it is necessary to pay enough attention to the particularity of female CHD, and put forward the thinking way of diagnosis and treatment of integrative medicine as "integrating Chinese medicine and Western medicine by mutual complement of advantages; combining syndrome typing and disease identification by grasping laws; treating physically and mentally by a wholism concept; spreading health education, preventing and treating comprehensively".

10.Studies on Plantlet Regeneration of Monogolian Snakegourd (Trichosanthes kirilowii)in Tissue Culture
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
When petiole segment, blade and cotyledon slice of Trichosanihes kililhai were cultured on MS medium with different growth regulators, callus and adventitious root were induced easily but with difficulty for adventitious bud. Yet adventitious bud can be induced when whole small blade, large blade segment and adventitious root tip were cultivated on MS medium with 0. 5mg/L of 6~13 A and propagated extensively whentransplanted on new media for successive transfer culture. When adventitious root bud was cultivated on MS medium wth 0. 5mg/L of NAA and 0. 5mg/L of 6~ 13A,shoot appeared, which can be grown into plantlet though the survival rate was not very satisfactory when further transplanted. Effect of blade segment size and its slicing technique,on the differentiation of adventitious bud was discussed.
