Objective To explore the cognitive function of the theory of mind(TOM) in early-onset schizophrenia from faux pas recognition and belief understanding dimensions. Methods 41 early-onset schizophrenias (EOS) and 40 normal adolescents were interviewed by the Chinese version of faux pas recognition task and theory of mind picture-sequencing task(ToM-PST),then early-onset schizophrenias cognitive features were analyzed. Results ①In faux pas recognition task, compared with healthy subjects,EOS showed significantly less total scores (16.11±6.34 vs 20.86±7.79,P<0.05)and subscores of understanding faux pas questions (9.88±4.11 vs 13.27± 6.07,P<0.05).In faux pas recognition scores(6.72±2.60vs 7.58±2.20) and control questions(9.83±0.44vs 9.97± 0.16) had no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).②In ToM-PST task,early-onset schizophrenic patients also had significantly less total score(17.29±3.38 vs 21.48± 1.73,P<0.01),subscores of understanding first order belief, first order error belief, second order belief, second order error belief, third order error belief, sense of reality, reciprocity, fraud, detecting fraud compared to normal controls had significant difference (all P< 0.05 or 0.01).③ The correlation between clinical course time and PANSS score and its subscores of the theory of mind picture-sequencing and faux pas task was non-significant(P>0.05)except the subscores of understanding the first order belief (P<0.01).Conclusion The theory of mind is apparent damage in early onset schizophrenia and non-significant correlation is found with psychiatric symptoms.

AIM and METHODS: Rat myocardial mRNA was extracted and mitochondrial sarcomeric creatine kinase (sMiMi-CK) was used as labled probed in vitro myocardial ischemia/reperfusion rats. Northern blot was performed to determine the changes of sMiMi-CK mRNA in different periods of ischemia/reperfusion and the protective effect of phosphocreatine (PCr).RESULTS:During early ischemial (10 min) mRNA was decreased about 18 24%. After reperfusion mRNA decreased again. PCr effectively prevented the decrease of mRNA expression of sMiMi-CK. CONCLUSION:The results indicated that PCr may possess protective effect on anoxic and reoxygenated myocardium.

Objective To explore the effect of hepatitis B virus(HBV) on the expression of complement 3 (C3) and complement 4 (C4) and its regulatory mechanism. Methods Differentially expressed genes between HepG2 and HepG2.2.15 cells was screened by gene chip, serum complement component 3 (C3) and 4 (C4) levels in patients with HBV infection and in healthy individuals were measured by Immunoturbidimetry,HBV infectious clone pHBV1.3 was transfected into HepG2 cells, and expression of C3 and C4 was measured by RT-PCR and Western blot. Results Expression of C3 and C4 mRNA was lower in HepG2.2.15 cells than in HepG2 cells, serum C3 and C4 levels was much lower in patients with chronic hepatitis B and hepatic carcinoma as compared to healthy individuals (P<0.05 ).HBV could downregulate the expression of C3 and C4 at mRNA and protein levels. Conclusion HBV may inhibit the expression both in vivo and in vitro.

Objective: To compare the contents of saikosaponin a, d and total flavonoids in different parts of Hollow bupleurum to provide reference for the clinical use of medicinal parts. Methods: The determination was performed on a SHIMADZU Inertsil C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)column. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile and water with the ratio of 40∶60, and the flow rate was 1.0 ml·min-1.The detection wavelength was 210nm, the column temperature was 40℃, and the injection volume was 10 μl.A colorimetric method was used to detect total flavonoids with the detection wavelength of 500 nm.Results: The calibration curve of Saikosaponin a, d and total flavonoids showed a good linear relationship respectively over the range of 0.21-1.26 mg·ml-1(r=0.999 6),0.25-1.51 mg·ml-1(r=0.9997) and 4.00-25.00 μg·ml-1(r=0.999 6).The average recovery was 99.27%(RSD=2.15%, n=6),99.4%(RSD=2.14%,n=6)and 99.03%(RSD=1.34%,n=6), respectively. The content of saikosaponin a and d respectively was 0.31% and 0.50% in the root, while that in the other parts was low.The content of total flavonoids was as high as 8.48% in flowers, and that in leaves, stem and root reduced in turn. Conclusion: The aerial parts of Hollow bupleurum are rich in flavonoids, and the content of saikosaponin in root is higher, therefore, the whole plant with root is more reasonable in the clinical use.

OBJECTIVE To study the preventing methods through analyzing risk factors of nosocomial infection about intubating central vein after liver transplantation.METHODS From Oct 1995 to Oct 2003,1093 patients intubated central vein were retrospectively analyzed through routine germs and fungi culture in our department. From them 59 cases underwent liver transplantation,1034 cases underwent other operations.RESULTS Twenty nine cases with other operations were found nosocomial infection, the positive rate was 2.8%.Four cases with liver transplantation were found nosocomial infection, the positive rate was 6.8%.CONCLUSIONS Nosocomial infection rate in patients underwent intubating central vein after liver transplantation is evidently higher than others.

In order to discover some sensitive parameters of eight diastolic function indexes and establish the discriminant equation, twenty-three patients with coronary heart disease (CAD) and eighteen normal adults were studied by radionuclide, Doppler and apexcardiography. The results showed that eight indexes were signicantly different between CAD and normal groups. The discriminant equation was: Z=0.21X1+23.86X2-22.88X3-0.18X4+2.83X5+ 2.06X6+66.86X7+1.66X8. The discriminant score was 42.99. The discriminant function was 100%. The contributive rates of eight indexes were Ev/Av, 1/3FF, A/E-O, PFR, DATI, EDC, IRT ;and l/3FFd from large to small value, respectively. It is concluded that Doppler Ev/Av is the most sensitive diastolic function index of CAD.

Objective To find out the associated effect of intrauterine infection and interuterine asphyxia to fetal rat′s brain damage, cell apoptosis, and expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP).Methods Pregnant rats of gestation 18 days were randomly divided into four groups:1.NS plus sham operation,2.intrauterine infection,3.intrauterine asphyxia,4.intrauterine infection plus intrauterine asphyxia. The fetal rats′ brains were taken out 72 h after different disposal and given HE coloration, immunohistochemistry of TUNEL and GFAP,respectively. Results The level of brain cell edema and tissue disorganization of group intrauterine infection plus intrauterine asphyxia were more serious than those of group intrauterine infection or group intrauterine asphyxia.TUNEL and GFAP had the same results:The number of positive cells in group intrauterine infection plus intrauterine asphyxia more than that in group intrauterine infection, and which in group intrauterine asphyxia more than that in group NS plus sham operation. There was significant difference between the first three groups and the group NS plus sham operation(P=0).There was also significant difference between group intrauterine infection plus intrauterine asphyxia and group intrauterine infection or group intrauterine asphyxia(P=0).Conclusions Both intrauterine infection and intrauterine asphyxia may induce premature rat brain damage, the association of intrauterine infection and intrauterine asphyxia may aggravate the degree of fetal rat brain damage, also increase the number of apoptosis cell and the expression of GFAP.
