At present,in the opinions of the domestic and foreign scholars,the only hope of long-term survival even cure of hilar cholangiocarcinoma was obtained by radical resection(ie R0 resection).The application of preoperative assessment with appropriate and comprehensive strategies can judge the respectability and Intraoperative safety accurately to the tumor,thereby it can improve the radical resection rate and safety of patients with hilar cholangiocarcinoma.In this paper,preoperative assessment strategies are reviewed.

ObjectiveTo explore the influence of gender,age and types of peer acceptance on the ability of theory of mind among rural parent-absent children.Methods 312 rural parent-absent children participated in the study (including 162 boys,150 girls; 102 members of 8 year-old,119 members of 9 year-old,and 91 members of 10 year-old).Their ability of theory of mind and types of peer acceptance were examined by the 2nd-order False-beliefs Tasks and Peer nomination.The date were analyzed by Multivariate analysis of variance (ANOVA),LSD checkout and Simple effect analysis.ResultsThere were statistically significant effects on ages in theory of mind,types of peer acceptance ( F=4.57,P=0.011 ; F =3.82,P =0.005 ) and the interaction among gender,ages and types of peer acceptance(F=3.20,P =0.042; F =2.50,P =0.043 ).The least significant different(LSD) assay of the ability of theory of mind age and types of peer acceptance shows:there were statistically significant lies in the divergence of age 8 and age 9 group,and also in age 9 and age 10 group,(I-J =-0.51,P =0.016;I-J =- 0.90,P =0.000 ).In the same way,there were also statistically significant lies in the divergence of the ability of theory of mind performance-popular and rejected ( I-J =1.05,P =0.001 ) ; popular and neglected ( I-J =0.84,P =0.003 ) ; popular and controversial( I-J =1.03,P =0.002) ; rejected and average ( I-J =- 0.66,P =0.02 ) ; controversial and average ( I-J =- 0.64,P=0.034).Results of simple effect shows:there were statistically significant lies in the gender divergence of the 9 age group (F =4.98,P =0.026),the age divergence of girls (F =7.50,P =0.001 ),the gender divergence of controversial groups (F=5.76,P =0.017 ),the peer acceptance divergence of boys(F=4.97,P =0.001),and also the peer acceptance divergence of girls(F =2.54,P =0.04).Conclusion There is substantial connection between the ability of theory of mind of rural parent-absent children and ages and types of peer acceptance.

[Objective]To investigate the relationship between inoculation dose of staphylococcus aureus versus radiological and microbiological changes of rabbit tibial infection with bone defect.[Methods]Staphylococcus aureus(ATCC 29213) with total number of colony from 6?101 to 6?106 were prepared.The bacteria were injected in the tibia after an area of bone defect was made.The inoculated lesions were assessed for changes in radiological and bacteriological parameters at 3 weeks after infection.[Results]Development of significant histological and radiological signs of infected bone defect required an inoculum of at least 6?105 CFU/5 ?l.[Conclusion]These results suggest that strain staphylococcus aureus(ATCC 29213) induces the development of chronic rabbit tibial infection with bone defect,and that this model may be applied to identification of virulence factors in studies of posttraumatic osteomyelitis.

Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of CC Chemokines, including RANTES (regulated upon activation, normal T cell expressed and secreted), monocyte chemoattracctant protein-1 (MCP-1), monocyte chemoattracctant protein-3 (MCP-3) and macrophage inhibitory protein 1? (MIP-1?), in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of patients with chronic urticaria, their mutual correlation, and the relationship between the expression level of CC chemokines and the serum level of IgE and eosinophil cationic protein (ECP) in the patients. Methods Reverse transcription-polymerase reaction (RT-PCR) was applied to semiquantitatively analyze the mRNA expression of RANTES, MCP-1, MCP-3 and MIP-1? in PBMCs from 31 patients with chronic urticaria and 22 healthy subjects. Objective To investigate the clinical and imaging features of cerebral autosomal recessive arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy(CARASIL).Methods Clinical data of a Chinese Mongolian patient with CARASIL were analyzed retrospectively and pedigree investigation was carried out in the family.Results The proband's parents were cousin and her brother was a patient with CARASIL too.The patients had onset at 25 and 23 years old,respectively.Clinical manifestations included cerebral stroke,progressive motor and mental deterioration,seizures,alopecia,and ocular fundus arteriosclerosis.No common risk factors of cerebral stroke were found in the family.Brain MRI showed bilateral diffuse cerebral white matter lesion with multiple infarcts and O'Sullivan sign.Cervical vertebral MRI showed multiple protrusion of intervertebral disc and significant retrogression.Conclusions CARASIL is clinically characterized by young-age-onset cerebral stroke,cerebral arteriosclerosis,alopecia,cervical and lumbar spondylopathy.MRI shows multiple cerebral infarcts,leukoencephalopathy and retrogression of intervertebral disc.

Objective To develop an alignment technique based on the movement of body gravity center. Methods As join forces in the system of balance is zero, the position of body gravity center can be calculated by body gravity which is taken from weight sensors, by the special software. Meanwhile, the position of body gravity will be sent to control unit, which can be transformed to driving signal of motor. The sliding table with laser, linked to motor, can make pursuit movement following with body gravity. A precise alignment can be made as the movement of body gravity. The balance function test is also used to make an assistant estimate for the alignment. Results and Conclusion An alignment technique has been developed for the fit of prosthesis and orthotics.

Research on novel pullulanase has major significance on the domestic industrialization of pullulanase and the breakdown of foreign monopoly. A thermophilic bacteria LM 18-11 producing thermostable pullulanase was isolated from Lunma hot springs of Yunnan province. It was identified as Anoxybacillus sp. by 16S rDNA phylogenetic analysis. Full-length pullulanase gene was cloned from Anoxybacillus sp. LM18-11. The optimum temperature of the pullulanase was between 55 and 60 degrees C with a half-life as long as 48 h at 60 degrees C; and its optimum pH was between 5.6 and 6.4. V(max) and K(m) of the pullulanase was measured as 750 U/mg and 1.47 mg/mL, which is the highest specific activity reported so far. The pullulanase crystals structure showed a typical alpha-amylase family structure. The N-terminal has a special substrate binding domain. Activity and substrate binding were decreased when the domain was deleted, the V(max) and K(m) were 324 U/mg and 1.95 mg/mL, respectively. The pullulanase was highly heterologous expressed in Bacillus subtilis by P43 promoter. The extracellular enzyme activity was 42 U/mL, which increased more than 40 times compared to the initial strain. This pullulanase has good application prospects.

Objective To analyze and evaluate neoadjuvant chemotherapy's value and significance in combining with surgical treatment for limited small cell lung cancer(LD-SCLC).Methods A total of 94 LD-SCLC patients underwent complete resections combined with chemotherapy between January 2000 and January 2011 in Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital.Among these cases,initial two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapies were performed for all pathologically confirmed patients (Group A),and initial operations followed by adjuvant chemotherapy were administered to patients without pathology (Group B).The survival rate was analyzed by log-rank test and Kaplan-Meier method.Multivariate analysis of the prognostic factors was performed using Cox's regression model.Results Group A included 43 cases and Group B included 51 cases.The mean age was (56.37 ± 10.18) years.According to the 6th edition of Tumor,Node,Metastasis(TNM) classification of lung cancer,54 cases were at stage Ⅰ or Ⅱ,40 cases were at stage Ⅲ.Overall 5-year survival(5-YS) was 27％.The 5-YS for patients with stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ was notably better than that of stage Ⅲ (34％ vs 20％,P =0.033).For patients with stage Ⅲ,the 5-YS of Group A was significantly better than that of Group B(34％ vs 12％,P =0.020),besides median overall survival for Group A and Group B were 46 and 15 months(P =0.009).Furthermore,the results of multivariate analysis showed that neoadjuvant chemotherapy,surgery and histopathology of SCLC were independent factors that strongly affected survival and prognosis.Conclusion In combined surgical treatment for LD-SCLC,neoadjuvant chemotherapy obviously improved the prognosis of patients with stage Ⅲ.Therefore,it was very important and necessary that pre-surgical neoadjuvant chemotherapy was administered to resectable stage Ⅲ LD-SCLC patients.
