China Pharmacy 2015;(21):2925-2926,2927
OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of fluvastatin on plasma von willebrand factor (vWF),D-dimer(D-D)level and heart function in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF). METHODS: 78 patients with CHF were randomly divided into control group and test group. Control group was given conventional treatment, including cardiac glycoside drugs, diuretics, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin receptor blockers andβ-receptor blockers, etc. On this basis, test group was given Fluv-astatin capsules 40 mg,administrated at draught after dinner. The course for both was 28 d. The clinic data was observed,includ-ing left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),vWF,D-D levels before and after treatment and incidence of adverse reactions. RESULTS:After treatment, the LVEF level in 2 groups was significantly higher than before, and test group was higher than control group;LVEDD,vWF and D-D level were significantly lower than before, and test group was lower than control group, with significant differences(P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions during treat-ment. CONCLUSIONS: Based on the conventional treatment, fluvastatin can significantly improve the coagulation function in pa-tients with CHF,with good safety.

Objective To explore the effect of sodium ferulate injection on myocardial function in rat model with myocardial ischemia and reperfusion. Methods Selected 60 rats aged 7 ~8 weeks (7. 26 ± 0. 36 weeks averagely) and randomly divided them into the sham group, myocardial reperfusion group, and the sodium ferulate group, with 20 rats in each group. Observed the changes of the cardiac func-tion indexes of the two groups after perfusion. Results Compared with the sham group, the degree of LVESP and ± dp/dmax decreased sig-nificantly (P<0. 05) in the myocardial reperfusion group and the sodium ferulate group. The descending degree of LVESP and ± dp/dmax 2 hours after reperfusion in the reperfusion group was significantly higher than that in the sodium ferulate group (P<0. 05). Compared with the sham group, the LVEDP of the other two groups showed a rising trend, and it was significantly lower 2 hours after reperfusion in the sodium ferulate group compared to the reperfusion group (P<0. 05). Proportion of apoptosis cells increased in the reperfusion group and the sodium ferulate group, and positive expression rate of Fas in the sodium ferulate group was significantly lower than the reperfusion group (P<0. 05). LDH and CK-MB of content in the blood of rats were significant increased, and it was higer in the reperfusion group compared with the sodium ferulate group (P<0. 05). Compared with the sham group,SOD content in the reperfusion group and the sodium ferulate group decreased obviously (P<0. 05). The MDA content increased, but the degree of increase was lower in the sodium ferulate group (P<0. 05). Conclu-sion Sodium ferulate could protect the myocardial function in rat model with myocardial ischemia and reperfusion to a certain degree.

Background phacoemulsification combined with limbal relaxing incision (LRI) is reported to be effective for the management of coexisting cataract astigmatism, but the influence of after phacoemulsification with LRI on corneal high-order aberration is still rarely reported. Objective This study was to evaluate the effect of cataract surgery with LRI for preoperative astigmatism or on corneal high-order aberration. Methods A selfcontrolled serial cases observational study was designed.A total of 35 cataractous eyes of 35 patients with astigmatism ≥ 1.0 D before cataract surgery were enrolled in Tianjin Medical University Eye Hospital from August 2014 to April 2015 under the informed consent of patients.LRIs were performed on the eyes during the phacoemulsification and IOL implantation. The uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA),BCVA and optometry were recorded before operation and 1 day,1 week,1 month,3 months after operation.Pentacam was employed to measure the maximal and minimal diopters, astigmatism and high-order aberrations within 3 mm of the anterior corneal surface at above-mentioned time points. All the results were compared among different time points. The optometry outcomes and the anterior corneal surface astigmatism change were analyzed using vector analysis method. Results The UCVA was 0.34 ±0.22,0.38 ± 0.25,0.43±0.27,0.42±0.28 in 1 day,1 week,1 month and 3 months after operation, which was significantly higher than 0.08 ±0.09 before operation;and the BCVA was 0.54 ± 0.27,0.64 ± 0.29,0.67 ± 0.29,0.71 ± 0.32 in 1 day,1 week,1 month and 3 months after operation, showing a significant increase in comparison with 0.22±0.51 before operation(F=54.457,P=0.000;F =62.653,P =0.000).The refractive cylindrical error and corneal astigmatism were significantly decreased after operation in comparison with before operation (F =31.061,P =0.000;F =113.043,P=0.000).High order aberrations (HOA) at postoperative 1 day,1 week,1 month,3 months were all higher than those in preoperation (F =11.189,P =0.000) under the 4 mm pupil diameter.Compared with preoperation, the vertical coma, secondary vertical coma and three leaf clover were significantly increased(all at P<0.05),but the horizontal coma and primary spherical aberration were not significantly changed (all at P>0.05) under the 6 mm pupil diameter. Conclusions Phacoemulsification combined with LRI can reduce the corneal astigmatism effectively and steadily, and the increase of corneal aberrations does not affect visual acuity.

Objective To investigate and analyze the state of injury and treatment for the patients with maxillofacial injuries in Wenchuan earthquake, and search for more effective methods for treating maxillofacial injury. Methods One hundred and sixty-five patients wounded in Wenchuan earthquake were admitted to authors' hospital, and they received specialized diagnosis and treatment. In this paper, the emphasis was put on those patients with severe ear-nose-throat and maxillofacial injuries. Based on the analysis of the state of injuries, the patients were treated with debridement and suture, reshaping and suture, reduction and fixation of fracture, or local or systematic anti-infection therapy. All the treated patients were followed up 2 weeks after treatment. Results Thirty-three of the 165 admitted patients suffered from various degrees of maxillofacial injury (20.0%), including 10 cases of ear injuries (6.1%), 8 cases of nasal trauma (4.8%) and 2 cases of lip laceration (1.2%). All the wounds healed by primary intention after the treatment with no disfiguration. 8 cases of nasal sinus and zygomatic fractures (4.8%) and 5 cases of mandibular fracture (3.0%) recovered nicely after the treatment. No trauma was found in throat, neck, trachea and esophagus. 6 patients (3.6%) were complicated with infection after injury (onset of infection outside of hospital). There was no death. Conclusion Patients with maxillofacial injury should receive early and appropriate treatment. Besides restoration of function, it is also important to restore the physiognomy
