Objective To investigate the adjunctive therapeutic effect of recombination growth hormone(rhGH) on the elderly patients with pulmonary infection.Methods 53 elderly patients with pulmonary infection were randomly divided into rhGH group(n=25) and control group(n=28).The rhGH group were received hypodermic introl group were received standard therapy.Clinical efficacy were compared between two groups.The level of albumin (ALB),growth hormone (GH),insulin-llke growth factor-1 (IGF-1),leptin (LP) were measured and the body mass index(BMI) was observed in all cases before and after treatment.Results The overall efficacy of rhGH group and control group was 88.0% versus 60.7%.The results showed significant statistical difference between both groups(P＜0.05).After treating with rhGH for 10 days,the level of BMI,ALB,GH,IGF-1 and LP were increased in the rhGH group,which were(26.1±4.1)kg/m2;(38.4 ±6.6)g/L;(7.0 +0.9) μg/L;(27.3 ±6.1)μg/L;(6.9 ± 1.1)μg/Lrespectively.And the level of BMI,ALB,GH,IGF-1 and LP were (21.8 ± 3.4 ) kg/m2 ;( 29.5 ± 5.1 ) g/L;( 4.0 ±0.4) μg/L;( 22.0±3.8 )μg/L;( 3.8±0.8 )μg/L in the control group after treatment.The results showed significant statistical difference between both groups(P＜0.05).Conclusion There was obvious adjunctive therapeutic effect of rhGH to the elderly patients with pulmonary infection by improving the nutritional state of these patients.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of estrogen combined with progestogen replacement therapy on patients with secondary premature ovary failure (POF) induced by Triptergium wifordii (TW). Methods Twenty-one patients who suffered from secondary suspend menses by TW were treated by estrogen combined with progestogen replacement therapy periodically. The serum levels of E2, LH and FSH were examined and changes of menses and clinical manifestations were observed respectively before and 3 months after the ending of treatment.Results All of the patients were confirmed as POF according to the levels of blood sexual hormone and clinical manifestations. Objective To explore the correlative factors and management of secondary high intraocular pressure(IOP) after vitreoretinal surgery for proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR). Methods The data of 51 patients(54 eyes) with PDR after vitreoretinal surgery were collected.The incidence of secondary high IOP was obtained,and the correlative factors leading to high IOP were analysed.Besides,the therapeutic effects of management were observed. Results Twenty-six patients(26 eyes) experienced postoperative high IOP,with the incidence of 48.15%(26/54).It was revealed that the preoperative retinal detachment,the combined performance of crystal phacoemulsification,the practice of intraocular tamponade and the postoperative posterioruveitis were related to the occurrence of high IOP(P

The purity of 4,4′-dimethoxy-5,6,5′,6′-bis (methylenedioxy)-2′-morpholine methylenebiphenyl-2-methyl formate methanesulfonate (IMH), a new drug for fatty liver treatment, was determined through differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Analysis of two-factor non repeatability method was performed in the investigation the effects of two factors (heating rate and sample weight) on purity determination. The DSC experimental parameters were optimized as follows: heating rate was 10 ℃·min^-1, temperature range was 150-300 ℃, sample weight was 2.0-4.1 mg, and N₂ flow rate was 80 mL·min^-1. The linear correlation coefficient (r) of this DSC method was 0.999 8. The RSD value (n = 6) of precision was 0.03%. The standard value and uncertainty of the purity results of the multiple batches of IMH drugs were (99.74 ± 0.29)%, (99.91 ± 0.28)%, (99.90 ± 0.28)%, and (99.81 ± 0.28)% with inclusion factor (K) of 2 and confidence probability (P) of 0.95. The results were basically consistent with the results of the mass balance method. The DSC mehod is a simple, rapid and accurate method, and provides a new reference method for determining the purity of IMH drugs, improves the accuracy and reliability of purity determination.

Background There is multi-dimensional order of spatial stereopsis perception in human,however,current stereopsis examination is zero-order of position disparity.A multi-dimensional space perception model is very important for the detection of stereoacuity.Objective This study was to screen the deficit of zero-order,first-order,second-order multi-dimensional spatial stereopsis perception in amblyopia and strabismus children and to explore the association of zero-order,first-order,second-order spatial perception deficit.Methods Multidimensional spacial perception was examined in 79 children aged 4-14 years in Beijing Children' s Hospital.Nineteen normal children,19 children with ametropia amblyopia,12 children with anisometropic amblyopia,18 children with strabismus and 11 children with strabismus combined amblyopia were included this study.The random-dot and line spatial stereopsis perception in zero-order,first-order and second-order were examined with a new system of multidimensional space perception screening.Written informed consent was obtained from each subject or custodian before any ocular examination associated with this study.Results Absence of zero-order,first-order,second-order random-dot channel was found in 24 children (24/79,30.4％),18 children (18/79,22.8％) and 24 children (24/79,30.4％) respectively,with an average percentage of 27.9％.Absence of zero-order,first-order,second-order line channel was examined in 37 children (37/79,46.8％),37 children (37/79,46.8％),32 children (32/79,40.5％),with an average percentage of 44.7％.In the children with a deficiency of the zero-order spatial perception,the children who still remained the first-order or/and second-order spatial perception of random-dot accounted for 41.6％ and that of lines accounted for 43.2％.In children without deficiency of zero-order random-dot or lines spatial space perception,deficiency of first-order and/or second-order spatial perception was in 37.5％ children.Various order spatial perception deficiency was seen in children suffering from amblyopia or strabismus compared with normal group(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions There exists spatial perception deficiency in children with amblyopia or strabismus.The patients with zero-order spatial perception absence partially remain a first-order or/and second-order spatial perception;while the patients with normal zero-order spatial perception might have first-order or second-order spatial perception deficiency.The multi-dimensional space perception model has a directive role for the training of visual information process and the treatment of spatial perceptual learning in children with amblyopia or strabismus.
