ObjectiveIn order to understand changes of immunological response under different psychic state. MethodsMice were divided into two groups, male and female group, 1: 2, were feeded together for together group, anther was that mice, male, were feeded solely for thesolely group. Male mice in two groups were immunized with sheep red blood cell(SRBC). Titer of antiboty against SRBC and IL -2 in serum wasdetected. Results The titer of antibody against SRBC in together group was higher than that in solely group. The concentration of IL - 2 was lowerin the solely group comparing with the together group. ConclusionIt was suggested that psyxhological status had impact on immune system.
2.The analysis of prognosis using the criterion of model for end-stage liver disease and Child-Pugh grading in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2000;0(12):-
Objective To investigate MELD and Child-Pugh in the patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis. Methods 41 cases of death and 71 survivors were graded with MELD and Child-Pugh and compared. Results The deaths' MELD and Child-Pugh score was (17.93?8.22 )and (10.07?1.84),the survivors' was (11.18?6.54 ) and (8.04?2.09)(P=0.000).Among the deaths and survivors,MELD≤9 was 14.63% and 42.25%(P =0.003),MELD 20-29 was 26.83% and 8.45%(P=0.009),Child A was 21.95% and 56.34%(P=0.000),Child C was 29.27% and 5.63%(P=0.001).Conclusion The deaths' MELD and Child-Pugh score is higher than the survivors'.The MELD score can act as a disease severity and prognosis index for patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis.

Objective To study the clinical features and therapeutic method of severe cerebral injured patients with hyponatremia. Methods The electrolyte and central venous pressure were examined on 45 cases of severe cerebral injured patients with hyponatremia every day.According to plasma sodium value and central venous pressure,we regulated treatment perscription daily. Results 45 patients occured hyponatremia in total 288 of severe cerebral injured patients.Hyponatremia was detected 5~13 days after operation or after injure. The morbility is usually the highest in the seventh day.Plasma sodium recovered to normal value in 14 days after operation. Conclusion Severe cerebral injured patients with hyponatremia should be diagnosed and treated as early as possible, then it will receive better prognosis.

With the arrival of SoloMo era and the change of users need, the passive service has changed to active service in libraries in order to increase the use of their resources. After the SoloMo concept was described, the bar-riers in users of medical libraries were investigated with questionnaires, the strategies for SoloMo innovative service and change of traditional service patterns in medical libraries were elaborated in order to provide personal service for the users at anytime and anywhere.

BACKGROUND: Apoptosis secondary to ischemia and hypoxia is the main cause of spinal cord dysfunction. Because of the decrease in atmospheric pressure, patients living on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau are in a hypoxic environment, which is very unfavorable for the recovery of spinal cord injury. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can improve the postoperative function of patients with incomplete spinal cord injury, and its effect is better on the plateau than at normal altitudes.OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on traumatic spinal cord injury in patients living on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau.METHODS: This prospective, open-label, randomized controlled clinical trial was performed at the Department of Spine Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, China. In total, 164 patients with incomplete traumatic spinal cord injury were equally and randomly assigned to a control group and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy group. Patients in the control group were treated with pedicle screw fixation and decompressive laminectomy. In addition to the surgical treatment performed in the control group, patients in the hyperbaric oxygen group underwent hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 0.2 MPa once a day for four treatment courses. Ten treatment sessions constituted one course, and each course was separated by a 5- to 7-day rest interval. The primary outcome was the modified Barthel index to assess activities of daily living. The secondary outcomes were the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA) impairment scale grade, sensory score, and motor score. The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University, China (Approval number: QHC011K). Written informed consent was provided by a relative or legal representative of each patient after they had indicated that they fully understood the treatment plan. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: The partial results demonstrated that after four treatment courses (55-61 days), the modified Barthel index and ASIA tactile, pain, and motor scores were higher in the hyperbaric oxygen group than in the control group. The ASIA grades were significantly different between the hyperbaric oxygen group and control group. The proportion of patients with ASIA grades D and E was higher in the hyperbaric oxygen group than in the control group. In this trial, we aim to determine the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on the treatment of incomplete traumatic spinal cord injury in patients living on the plateau and to provide clinical evidence for treating incomplete traumatic spinal cord injury in these patients.

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate therapeutic efficacy and safety of ubenimex combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of malignant tumor, and to provide evidence-based reference in clinic.METHODS:Retrieved from Central,PubMed,CJFD,VIP and Wanfang database, randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about ubenimex combined with chemotherapy (trial group) vs.single chemotherapy (control group) in the treatment of malignant tumor were collected. The quality of studies were evaluated by bias risk evaluation criteria of Cochrane system evaluator manual 5.1.0 after screening literatures and extracting data.Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.3 statistical software.RESULTS:A total of 12 RCTs were included, involving 762 patients. The resuits of Meta-analysis showed that:shorter-term response rate [RR=1.24,95 % CI (1.08,1.43),P=0.002] and the improvement rate of life quality Karnofsky score [RR=1.69,95% CI(1.46,1.95),P<0.001] in trial group were significantly higher than control group;the incidence of gastrointestinal toxicity [RR=0.74,95%CI(0.57,0.94),P=0.02] and leucocyte suppression rate[Ⅰ °-Ⅳ°(<3 months):RR=0.54,95%CI(0.37,0.79),P=0.002;Ⅲ°-Ⅳ°:RR=0.44,95%CI(0.29,0.68),P<0.001] were significantly lower than control group, with statistical significance.CONCLUSIONS:Ubenimex combined with chemotherapy can improve malignant tumor,shorter-term efficacy and life quality, and reduce gastrointestinal and marrow toxicity.

Objective To observe the effects of treating acute ischemic stroke in rats with interventional administration of nitric oxide precurcer L-Arginine or nitric oxide donor nitroglycerin. Methods The right middle cerebral arteries of rats were occluded by insertion of a suture to duplicate ischemia-reperfusion models.Forty-two male SD rats were randomly divided into four groups: MCAO group(n=12);sham operation group(n=6);NG group(n=12) and L-ARG group(n=12),intracarotid arteries administrated respectively by NS、NS、NG and ARG.Each of the four groups were subdivided into 2 groups according to the reperfusion time(3 h and 24 h),measurement of Longa scores,NO2-/NO3-in serum,HE staining and immunohistochemical(SABC)method were utilized to assess the changes of ischemic brain tissues in different groups. Results OX-42 positive cells of cortex and CA3 area of hippocampal: OX-42 positive cells were found, their features identified at 3 h after reperfusion.24 h the response of microglias was obvious, the number of the cells increased(P
