Objective To establish a reverse-phase liquid chromatography method for the determination of seven alkaloids (magnoflorine,columbamine,jatrorrhizine,epiberberine,coptisine,palmatine,and berberine) in Fufang Zhenzhu Tiaozhi Capsule.Methods Chromatography was performed on a Dionex Acclaim C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm,5.0 μm) at 30 ℃.The mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile-potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution (0.015 mol/L,40:60,including 1.7 g/L sodium dodecyl sulfate and phosphoric acid used to regulate pH value to 3.0),with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min.The detection wavelength was 270 nm.Results The calibration curves of magnoflorine,columbamine,jatrorrhizine,epiberberine,coptisine,palmatine,and berberine were linear in the range of 1.07-10.65,0.78-7.55,0.75-7.50,1.60-15.95,2.69-26.85,2.31-23.10,and 6.04-60.40 mg/mL.The average recoveries of magnoflorine,columbamine,jatrorrhizine,epiberberine,coptisine,palmatine,and berberine were 101.0％,101.2％,100.1％,100.0％,100.1％,101.1％,and 99.7％,respectively.Conclusion The method could be used for the quantitative determination of the preparation.

Vascular cognitive impairment in patients with severe stroke has attracted wide attention of clinicians in recent years,and the cognitive impairments of transient ischemic attack (TIA) and minor stroke are often overlooked because of their mild symptoms and short duration.This article reviews the advances in research on cognitive impairment in patients with TIA and minor stroke in recent years in order to increase the degree of attention of clinicians and improve the overall prognosis of patients.

In this paper, the chloroplast psbK-psbI intergenic spacers of 18 species of Dendrobium and their adulterants were amplified and sequenced, and then the sequence characteristics were analyzed. The sequence lengths of chloroplast psbK-psbI regions of Dendrobium ranged from 474 to 513 bp and the GC contents were 25.4%-27.6%. The variable sites were 71 while the informative sites were 46. The inter-specific genetic distances calculated by Kimura 2-parameter (K2P) of Dendrobium were 0.006 1-0.058 1, with an average of 0.028 4. The K2P genetic distances between Dendrobium species and Bulbophyllum odoratissimum were 0.093 2-0.120 4. The NJ tree showed that the Dendrobium species can be easily differentiated from each other and 6 samples of the inspected Dendrobium species were identified successfully through sequencing the psbK-psbI intergenic spacer. Therefore, the chloroplast psbK-psbI intergenic spacer can be used as a candidate marker to identify Dendrobium species and its adulterants.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to evaluate the bond strength of a self-adhesive resin cement to dentin by ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and NaClO.

METHODSTwenty-seven freshly extracted non-carious human premolars were prepared to expose the buccal dentin and randomly divided into three groups: control group (A group), EDTA group (B group) and NaClO group (C group). All teeth were bonded to dentin using a self-adhesive resin cement after the teeth in the A group were processed with distilled water. The B and C group were processed with 3%EDTA and 1%NaClO, respectively. After 24 hours at 37 °C water, the shear bond strengths of the twenty-four specimens were measured. All statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 software package. Each fractured specimen was examined under dental microscope. Three new specimens were cut, and the morphologies of the cement-dentin interface were observed under scanning electron microscope (SEM).

RESULTSThe shear bond strength in the A group, B group and C group was (8.55±0.63), (8.47±0.56) and (12.97± 0.59) MPa, respectively. The difference between A group and B group was no statistically significant (P>0.05), whereas the difference between C group and B group (or A group) was statistically significant (P<0.05). SEM observation of the cement-dentin interface in the C group showed good adaptation, but resin tags were not observed. The other two groups showed poor bonding interface. Most of the fractured adhesive dentin surfaces exhibited cohesive failure in the A group and B group. All the fractured adhesive dentin surfaces exhibited cohesive failure in the C group.

CONCLUSION1% NaClO can increase the bond strength of self-adhesive resin cement to dentin, but 3%EDTA has no effect.

Cooperation hydrogen production was carried out using Rhodopseudomonas sp. DT and Enterobacter aerogenes. The effects of the initial ratio of Rhodopseudomonas sp. DT and E. aerogenes, culture temperature, and carbon source on the cooperation hydrogen production were investigated. The results suggested that cooperation hydrogen production rate was highly affected by the initial ratio of Rhodopseudomonas sp. DT and E. aerogenes. The mixed bacteria of Rhodopseudomonas sp. DT and E. aerogenes with 1:1 initial ratio benefited to the cooperation hydrogen production, which led the hydrogen production rate and duration of gas production to 3.1 mol H2/mol glucose and 81 h, respectively. The pH dynamics analysis of culture medium further discovered that the pH of the mixed bacteria with 1:1 initial ratio changed from 6 to 7 smaller than other conditions, which was probably fitted to produce hydrogen. Furthermore, the mixed bacteria with 1:1 initial ratio had the higher hydrogen production efficiency at temperatures of 28?C and 37?C than at 20?C, and without any hydrogen production at temperature of 50?C. The carbon sources of glucose, succinate acid, malic acid could be used to produce hydrogen by the mixed bacteria. Even the soluble starch, unused by Rhodopseudomonas sp. DT, was also decomposed by the mixed bacteria to produce hydrogen with the conversion efficiency of 8.22%. The glucose was the optimal carbon resource, and the conversion efficiency could reach to 36.11%. The results, further, implied that the cooperation hydrogen production could enlarge the use of the carbon sources.

Objective To analysis the clinical high risk factors for fetal chromosomal abnormalities.Methods Amniocentesis,chromosomal karyotype analysis and other related methods were performed on 4829 pregnant women,who presented sole indication of prenatal diagnosis such as advanced age,high risk factors and fetal ultrasound abnormalities,for analyzing the correlations of those women to the incidence of fetal chromosomal abnormalities.Results The detection rates of abnormal karyotype were 5.0％ (57/1143),1.7％ (40/2367) and 4.3％ (57/1319) in the older women group (age＞35),abnormal maternal serological screening group and abnormal fetal ultrasound finding group,respectively.The detection rats of karyotype abnormality were 6.9％ (23/333) in women with fetal congenital heart diseases,8.5％ (20/234) in those with abnormal amniotic fluid,1.1％ (1/89) in those with fetal ventriculomegaly,1.1％ (10/898) in those with fetal intracardiac hyperechogenicity,5.9％ (2/34) in those with fetal choroid cyst and 5.6％ (1/18) in those with fetal renal pelvis broadening.Conclusion The pregnant women with age＞35,fetal sonographic structural anomalies or two or more soft marker abnormalities should be prenatally diagnosed and doing the genetic counseling combined with the family history.

Objective To understand health literacy levels in elderly people aged 60 years and above in Hunan, and explore factors related to health literacy.Methods Hunan residents aged 60 years and above were randomly recruited by the multistage stratified cluster sampling method.A total of 611 elderly people from 13 counties of Hunan were included in the study, which was conducted through questionnaires.Results The median health literacy score for elderly people aged 60 years and above was 51.00 (4-90), and it was lower than that for people under 60 years old, which was 56.00.Single factor analysis found that education level, occupation, number of family members, and household income each had an influence on health literacy scores (H=59.526, 20.609, 17.214, and 50.749, respectively;P=0.000, 0.002, 0.001 and 0.000, respectively).The number of people with basic health literacy accounted for 10.6％ (65/611) of the total.Multiple logistic regression analysis found that chronic disease was a factor affecting basic health literacy.Compared with elderly people without chronic diseases, a higher percentage of people with basic health literacy was among elderly people with chronic diseases (OR =1.870, 95％ CI: 1.037-3.373).Conclusions The health literacy level is lower in elderly people aged 60 years and above than those under 60 years old in Hunan.Only 10.6％ (65/611) of them show basic health literacy.Education level, occupation, number of family members, and household income are the factors related to health literacy.Health education about healthy lifestyle and behavior as well as chronic disease prevention and control should be increased in order to improve the health literacy level in elderly people.
