1.Controversies in neck dissection of papillary thyroid carcinoma
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(7):523-526
Parpillary adenocarcinoma is the most common type of thyroid cancer with high probability of cervicel lymph node metastasis. Prophylactic neck dissection is not necessary for patients with clinical negative neck. Modified radical neck dissection is the standard for therapeutic neck dissection. The range of dissection remains controversial. Level Ⅰ is not included routinely, level Ⅱ is recommended. Dissection of level Ⅴ may cause malfunction of the neck and shoulder, clinical negative level Ⅴ for low-risk group can be avoided with close follow-up. Rountine central lymph node dissection tends to reduce the local recurrence. Selective neck dissection for thyroid parpillary adenocarcinoma needs more investigations.

5.Analysis of the Characteristics between Clinic and Laboratory Examinations in Children with Infectious Mononucleosis
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(03):-
Objective To explore the relationship between the clinical characteristics and laboratory examinations. Methods Retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical data in 172 patients diagnosed as infectious mononucleosis(IM)in our department recently. Results The onset rate was high from 3 to7 years old.The main clinical presentations included fever, neck lymphadenopathy, pharyngitis, hepatomegaly, and splenomegaly. Some patients accompanied with obvious sonorous. The occurring rate of the complications was 74.4%,especially deteriorated liver function was the most common, next came to the lung infection. The proportion of atypical lymphocytes raised in 73.3% cases. The positive rate of EBV-VCA-IGM was 65.1%.Myocardium ferment chart went up in 27.9% cases,Erythrocyte sedimentation rate increased fast in 61.6%,CRP gently got higher in 62.8%.However,the ratio of atypical lymphocyte and EBV-VCA-IGM positive or negative had little to do with the pathologic condition and complications in IM.Conclusions The clinical progress of most IM is benign and multiple organs can be involved with atypical clinical manifestations.Examination for atypical lymphocytes is an easy and effective means to screen IM.

Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2014;29(20):1528-1530
Insulin-like growth factor receptor type 1 (IGF-1 R) is the receptor cascade effect molecules of IGF signaling pathways in the hypothalamus-pituitary-growth hormone axis.In recent years,IGF-1R gene mutation of short stature case reports increased year by year, now the progress of IGF-1R gene defects in short stature for clinicians was summarized.
7.Color Doppler ultrasound in the evaluation of carotid arteriosclerosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction of anterior circulation
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2015;(3):380-382
A totel of 120 patients with CT or MRI proved as acute cerebral infarction group of anterior circulation and 90 non-infarction patients as the control group were studied. The diameter, inter median thickness( IMT) ,peak systolic velocity ( PSV ) , end diastolic velocity ( EDV ) , early shrinkage acceleration time ( AT ) , resistance index ( RI) ,and pulsatility index( PI) of carotid artery, and whether there was arteriosclerotic plaque or stenosis, and the properties of plaque were examined with color Doppler ultrasound. In acute cerebral infarction group of anterior cir-culation,the IMT was thicker that in the control group(P<0. 01). The incidence of the film thickness,moderate-se-vere stenosis and instable carotid artery plaque in infaiction group of anterior circulation were obviousely higher than those in the control group(P<0. 01). Arterial complete or incomplete occlusion was observed in severe cases. The blood flow parameters showed that the PSV and EDV of common carotid and internal carotid in acute cerebral in-farction group of anterior circulation were lowerer than those in the control group. RI and PI of internal carotid in a-cute cerebral infarction group of anterior circulation were higher than those in the control group(P<0. 05),while AT was lower than those in the control group.

9. Application and research of non-coding RNA in bone tissue engineering with cells and scaffold
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2020;24(4):596-605
BACKGROUND: Since non-coding RNAs maintain bone homeostasis through various pathways, applications of non-coding RNAs as bioactive molecules in bone tissue engineering for bone defect repair has become an increasing area of interest. OBJECTIVE: To introduce non-coding RNAs as bioactive molecules in bone tissue engineering. METHODS: A computer-based online search of Web of Science, PubMed, SpringerLink databases was performed by the first author between December 2018 and March 2019 using the search terms “bone tissue engineering, ncRNA (miRNA, siRNA or lncRNA), scaffold, drug delivery system” to retrieve papers published during 2004-2019. A total of 1754 papers were preliminarily retrieved, and 95 of them were eligible for final analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Because non-coding RNAs play a key role in osteogenic differentiation, they can be used as important bioactive factors for bone tissue engineering. At present, bone tissue engineering repair methods based on non-coding RNA bioactive factors have become a research hotspot in bone defect repair. There are two major application strategies: (1) The non-coding RNA transcription within the seed cells is purposefully altered and combines with the bone tissue-engineered scaffold to promote bone defect repair. (2) a specifically designed bone engineered scaffold can controllably and purposefully alter the expression of non-coding RNA in the seed cells, which promotes bone defect repair. In addition, the function of more and more non-coding RNAs has been identified in the process of bone regeneration. This shows good application prospects of non-coding RNAs.
10.Role and mechanism of gastric cancer stem cells in gastric cancer invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2016;20(14):2021-2026
BACKGROUND:Although tumor stem cel s and their differentiated vascular cel s, which are not sensitive to chemotherapy and molecular targeted therapy, reduce overal blood supply of the tumor, these cel s facilitate the invasion and metastasis of the tumor, eventual y resulting in treatment failure. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of gastric cancer stem cel s in stomach cancer invasion and metastasis as wel as its mechanism in angiogenesis. METHODS:A total of 20 gastric cancer stem cel s and 20 normal gastric cancer cel s SGC7901 were cultured in the medium with DMEM/F12 (1:1), 2%B27 and 20μg/L epidermal growth factors or cultured in 10%PBS, respectively. Invasion of gastric cancer stem cel s was detected by sphere formation assay, colony formation assay and Transwel invasion assay. Levels of mRNA and protein expression of CD44 and E-cadherin were measured to observe tumor metastasis. Besides, angiogenesis was observed by cel scratch test, Transwel migration assay and ring test. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Gastric cancer cel s adhered to the medium wal , and gastric cancer stem cel s suspended in the medium, which appeared to be spindle interstitial form. Number of gastric cancer tumor spheres was significantly lower than that of gastric cancer stem cel spheres in the sphere formation assay and colony formation assay (P<0.05). Number of gastric cancer stem cel s through the basement membrane was significantly higher than that of gastric cancer cel s (P<0.05). And the cel migration distance and ring number were significantly increased in the gastric cancer stem cel s as compared with the gastric cancer cel s (P<0.05). In conclusion, the invasion, migration and angiogenesis abilities of gastric cancer stem cel s are stronger than those of gastric cancer cel s, which can further promote the occurrence and progression of gastric cancer.
