Objectives To investigate the specific site for measuring inferior alveolar nerve canal (IANC) by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT),and to provide reference data of the course of the IANC of the crowd.Methods This study was a retrospective data analysis.One hundred and thirty CBCT cases were measured and compared after classification by gender and age (65 men and 65 women,65 middle age and 65 youth).Since the proximal center of the mental foramen area,the cross-section at which the mental hole just completely breaks the buccal cortical bone was defined as S1,and S2,S3,S4 were defined as cross-sections with 1-cm apart from each other since S1.L1,L2,L3,and L4 were measured as the distance from specific sites on the outer wall of the IANC to the alveolar crest,the outer wall of lingual lateral cortical bone,the mandibular minimum margin,and the outer wall of buccal cortical bone.The results were analyzed using independent samples t test,with P＜0.05 being considered statistically significant.Results On the right IANC S2L1,S3L1,S4L1,S2L2,S3L2,S4L2,S1L3,S3L4,the 8 groups of L values measured on these 8 sites,all showed differences between genders (P＜0.05).So did the 10 groups of L values measured on the left IANC S1L1,S2L1,S3L1,S4L1,S1L2,S3L2,S4L2,S2L3,S3L3,S4L4 (P＜0.05).The middle age group and the youth group were statistically different for the data measured on the right IANC S2L4 (P＜0.05).This was the same case for the data measured on the left IANC S1L3.When classified according to gender,L1 in the S1 to S4 sections firstly increased and then decreased,and eventually decreased.The change pattern of L3 was opposite to that of L1.L2 in the S1 to S4 sections firstly decreased and then decreased,and eventually increased.The change pattern of L4 was opposite to that of L2.When the samples were classified according to age,the change pattern L value in the S1 to S4 sections was the same as that under gender classification.Conclusions The effect of gender on the L value of individuals is relatively great,while the effect of age on the L value of individuals value is very small.Setting the corresponding long axis of mandible as a reference,the change pattern of IANC in the mandible can be deduced based on the change of L value from S 1 to S4:from S1 to S4,the course of IANC on the vertical direction is firstly downward,tben turns to upward and goes upward;from S1 to S4,the trend of IANC on the horizontal direction is firstly toward the side of tongue,and eventually turns towards the buccal side.The current study provides reference data for IANC-related anatomy from the mandibular foramen to the mandibular second molars.

Aptamers are short nucleic acids or peptides that strongly bind to a protein of interest and functionally inhibit a given target protein at the intracellular level. Besides high affinity and specificity, aptamers have several advantages over traditional antibodies. Hence, they have been broadly selected to develop antiviral agents for therapeutic applications against hepatitis B and C viruses (HBV, HCV). This review provides a summary of in vitro selection and characterization of aptamers against viral hepatitis, which is of practical significance in drug discovery.

Objective To analyze post-traumatic growth of Chinese caregivers of dementia patients and to explore the caregivers′positive and potential energy, in order to formulate more perfect nursing intervention measures. Method Useing phenomenological method of qualitative research in selecting 6 dementia caregivers in-depth interviews to understand possible posttraumatic growth. Result Five major themes were found: changes in individual cognitive, changes in relations with others, promote their children′s education, reflections and concerns on status of pension-related changes in philosophy of life. Conclusions Dementia caregivers also have the positive performance of posttraumatic growth, in addition to the negative experience. Clinical nurses should actively explore the potential and power from the growth perspective. This is conducive to the caregivers with more health caring for life, so as to improve the quality of care, and ultimately improve the quality of life.

Objective To analyze and discuss the clinical effect of montelukast in the treatment of children with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection.Methods 21 7 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection were collect-ed,98 cases of airway height response after infection were selected as the research subjects in this observation,who were randomly divided into control group and observation group,among them 49 patients in the control group received conventional treatment,while 49 cases in the observation group added montelukast treatment based on the control group.The clinical effect and the occurrence of adverse reaction after 1 week of treatment were compared,at the same time,compared and discussed irritating cough onset,continue time,decrease time of cough and treatment time in the two groups.Results There were no adverse reactions in the two groups of children after treatment,98 cases were all cured,which suggested that the test was a complete success.The clinical efficacy of the control group after 1 week was 71 .43%,which was 97.96% in the observation group;In the control group,the duration of the stimulus onset,dura-tion,duration of treatment,treatment time and time of treatment were (5.20 ±2.64)d,(1 2.50 ±3.82)d,(1 3.1 0 ± 4.1 5)d,(20.80 ±1 0.65)d,which of the observation group were (4.1 0 ±0.27)d,(7.40 ±2.43)d,(8.90 ± 0.36)d,(1 6.40 ±8.32)d,the differences were statistically significant (t =2.901 ,7.885,7.057,2.279,all P <0.05).Conclusion Montelukast can promote and consolidate the curative effect in the treatment of airway hyper responsiveness in children with mycoplasma pneumoniae infection,it is recommended to promote in clinical because it has no serious side effects.

Objective To explore the feasibility of using Zeocin resistance as a new positive selection marker for the genetic manipulation of Candida albicans (C.albicans).Methods The susceptibility of C.albicans strain CAI4 to Zeocin was determined using a broth microdilution method in pH range from 6.0 to 8.0.The ZeoR expression cassette was amplified from plasmid pGAPZ-α-A by polymerase chain reaction (PCR).An integrated vector used to knockout AAF1 gene was constructed by gene splicing.Then the C.albicans CAI4 was transformed with this integrated plasmid containing the ZeoR expression cassette using lithium chloride method and the target AAF1 gene was replaced.The recombinant C.albicans was screened and the genome was extracted and amplified by PCR with two pairs of primers,then confirmed using genetic method.Results The C.albicans CAI4 was sensitive to Zeocin in pH range from 6.0 to 8.0.And the concentration of Zeoein(100 mg/L) at pH 7.0 was used to select recombined C.albicans.The recombined integrated vector was confirmed by DNA sequencing.The ZeoR expression cassette was detected using PCR method in recombined C.albicans.The AAF1 gene was replaced by ZeoR gene.Conclusion A new vector for targeted gene disruption in C.albicans is successfully constructed.

BACKGROUND: Parameters of platelet can reflect functions of coagulation. Granule membrane protein-140 (GMP-140), which is also called P-Selectin, in α-granules of platelets can reflect activities of platelet. Dysfunction of blood sugar and blood lipid in diabetic patients can result in complications such as thrombotic diseases.OBJECTIVE: To analyze the variation regulation of the platelet parameters and GMP-140 in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.DESIGN: A case-control study.SETTING:Department of Clinical Laboratory and Department of Endocrinology, Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.PARTICIPANTS: From March to April 2005, forty-five patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, who were treated at the Department of Endocrinology,Union Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, were enrolled as diabetic group, and 45 healthy people, who were checked with health examination at the same period,were selected as control group. They all joined the experiment voluntarily. METHODS: Changes of quantity of blood platelet, mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW) and platelett-large cell ratio (PLCR) were analyzed with blood cell counter. GMP-140 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), meanwhile, compared with those of the healthy people.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Contents of the parameters of platelets and GMP-140 of subjects in the two group s.RESULTS: A total of 90 cases without drop out, 45 cases in the diabetic group and control group, respectively, were involved in the result analysis.①Comparison of the content of GMP-140 in the two groups: It was significantly higher in the diabetic group than that in the control group [(28.8±10.3) ,(9.1±5.6)μg/L(t=2.37,P ＜ 0.01 )]. ②Comparison of parameters of blood platelet of subjects of the two groups: The MPV, PDW and P-LCR in patients of the diabetic group were markedly higher than those in the control group (t=2.02, 2.02, 2.02, P ＜ 0.01 ), while the blood platelets (PLT)was dramatically lower than that in the control group (t=2.15, P ＜ 0.01 ).CONCLUSION: The MPV, PDW, P-LCR and the content of GMP-140 of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus significantly increase, while the PLT decreases, which indicate that platelet activity enhances and the consumption of platelet increases in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

To explore the time-dependent of p harmacodynamics of lidocain alkalified solution. Method: On 8:00 am and 8:00 pm, surface anaesthesia and subarachnoid anaesthesia were con ducted in rabbits and 76 cases of surgical patients receiving epidureal anaesthe sia were observed in therapy effect.Results: The results of animal experimental showed the anaesthesia potency and anaesthesia incubatory period were better on 8:00 am than 8:00 pm; the clinical observation also obtain ed asimilar result. Conclusion: These results showed that lidocain alkalified solution had time-dependent of pharmacodynamics.
