Objective:To probe into the expression and the clinic significance of LEA on colorectal carcinoma. Methods:The expression of LEA and CEA in 140 colorectal cancer specimens and 100 colorectal non-cancerous specimens had been detectd by immunohistcchemistry S-P method.Results:The expression of LEA was relative to tumor differentiation degree and exhibits higher selectivity in high differentiation ade-nocarcinoma ( P 0.05) . AIM: To assess the effect of two different suture methods on the degree of pain and corneal epithelium healing condition after pterygium excision combined with autologous conjunctival flap graft transplantation. ·METHODS: Retrospective case-series study. According to the suture method, a total of 92 patients (92 eyes) with pterygium who received treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Huzhou University from June 2015 to June 2016 were divided into two group. There were 48 patients ( 48 eyes) in Group A were received intermittent suture, and 44 patients ( 44 eyes ) in Group B were received continuous interlocking suture. The degree of pain after surgery were evaluated between the two groups at 2h, 1d and 1wk after surgery by visual analogue score ( VAS). The healing status of corneal epithelium were observed between the two groups at 1d and 1wk after surgery by fluorescent staining. ·RESULTS: There was no significant difference in the average pain value 2h after surgery between Group A and Group B (P>0. 05). The average pain values 1d and 1wk after surgery in Group B was lower than that in Group A respectively (P<0. 01). Mean scores of corneal epithelium healing condition at 1wk were significantly better in Group B than in Group A (0. 54 ± 0. 32 vs 0. 86 ± 0. 34, P<0. 05), while not significantly different at 1d after the surgery (4. 04±1. 46 vs 4. 30±1. 42, P>0. 05). · CONCLUSION: Compared to intermittent suture, continuous interlocking suture can release pain response after pterygium excision combined with autologous conjunctival flap graft transplantation and promote the healing status of corneal epithelium.

Purpose:To evaluate the different dose distribution created by three different plans on a nasopharyngeal carcinoma case with simultaneous integrated boost intensity modulated radiation therapy (SIB-IMRT). Methods:we designed three different SIB-IMRT plans on a nasopharyngeal carcinoma case, one was from anterior direction of the head, 5 non-equally spaced fields, another was from posterior direction of the head, 5 non-equally spaced fields also, third was 5 equally spaced fields around the head. Each plan had its dose distribution to the target and main critical structures.Results:No significant difference of dose distribution to the target when comparing the previous three different IMRT plans. However, dose to the parotids delivered from 5-equally spacd was obviously lower than the other plans, dose to the optic chiasm was much lower created by the plan designed from the posterior direction of the head with 5 non-equally spacea field.Conclusions:For a nasopharyngeal carcinoma case, there is no significant difference of dose distribution to the target compared with three different 5-beam orientation SIB-IMRT plans. To protect parotids, we recommend designing a plan with equal beam direction around the head. When the target is very close to the optic chiasm, plauning from posterior direction of the head should be better.

Objective To compare the clinical outcomes of patients who underwent remnant-preserved anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction with those who underwent conventional ACL reconstruction (ACLR).Methods From January 2010 to October 2012,93 eligible patients suffered from ACL injuries were randomly allocated into remnant-preserved group (ACLR with remnant preservation;n=48;Male/Female=34/14;Left/Right=25/23) and conventional group (ACLR without remnant preservation;n=45;Male/Female=33/12;Left/Right=22/23).The mean age of patients,time from injury to surgery,rates of combined meniscal injuries,and medial collateral ligament injury all showed no significant difference between the two groups preoperatively.All the patients underwent ACL reconstruction using 4-strand hamstring autografts.The postoperative assessments included knee functional scales (IKDC grade classification and Lysholm score),stability examinations (Lachman,pivot-shift,and KT-1000 arthometer),proprioceptive evaluations,and second-look arthroscopy.Results The average follow-up time was 25.4 months for the remnant-preserved group and 25.2 months for the conventional group.For IKDC grade classification,there were 32 patients with grade A,9 with grade B,1 with grade C in remnant-preserved group,whereas 30 with grade A,8 with grade B,2 with grade C in conventional group,which showed no significant difference between the two groups.Moreover,the Lysholm score (95.9±5.2 vs.95.4±1.7),Lachman test,pivot-shift test,KT-1000 arthometer (1.1±1.2 mm vs.1.2±0.9 mm),proprioceptive evaluations (joint position sense:3.6°± 1.8° vs.3.9°±2.2°) all showed no significant differences between the two groups.Additionally,the synovial coverage of grafted tendon under second-look arthroscopy was categorized as grade A in 11,grade B in 6,grade C in 2,grade D in 2 in remnant-preserved group,whereas grade A in 10,grade B in 5,grade C in 2,and grade D in 2 in conventional group,which still showed no significant difference.Conclusion In terms of the knee functional scales,stability examinations,joint position sense and graft synovial coverage,remnant-preserved ACLR group showed no superiority to the conventional ACLR group.

Objective To analyze the CT signs and the clinical relevant factors of degenerative osteoarthritis of athnto-odontoid joint.Methods The CT signs and the clinical information of 214 patients received CT scans of skull from June 2011 to April 2012 were analyzed retrospectively.Results One hundred and twenty patients were diagnosed with degenerative osteoarthritis of atlanto-odontoid joint,while 67 of them having subaxial degenerative osteoarthritis at the same time.Forty-three patients had a history of chronic cervical and occipital pain.95.83％ (115/120) patients showed osteophytes in CT scans,while 44.17％ (53/1 20) showed calcification around dens and 24.17％ (29/120) showed joint space obliteration.The incidence rate increased with age.Seventy-seven patients [64.17％(77/120)] appeared cervical and occipital pain.Conclusions Degenerative osteoarthritis of atlanto-odontoid joint shows hyperostosis,osteophytes at the edge of joint,joint space obliteration and calcification around dens in the CT scans.The incidence rate is increased with age and correlated with cervical and occipital pain.

Objective To explore distally-based the interal ankle perforator saphenou neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap has been universally adopted for the repairment of the foot and the ankle soft-tissue defects.Methods Lay a foundation of anatomic studying,using the interal ankle perforator saphenous neuro-venofasciocutaneous flap 10 cases, the flap axis point was 1-3 cm above the pink of the interal ankle, average 2 cm. The scope of the flap were 4.0 cm× 3.0 cm-8.0 cm× 6.0 cm. Results All the perforator saphenous neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap were lively. About all, 2 cases had the small distant part necrosis, 1 case accompanying with subcutaneous tissue heels after change dressings, another heels after skin grating. All case can walk as usual, the flap had wear-resisting and keenly feel. Conclusion Distally-based the interal ankle perforator saphenous neuro-veno-fasciocutaneous flap, near ankle, donner area exiting fine, utlizing scope large, skin nice, grating easy, no hurting important blood vessle, alive rate high, it is an good donner area in repairing the foot and the ankle soft-tissue defects.

Objective To study the detection rate of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) with different perfusion methods on rabbit VX2 small hepatocellular carcinoma less than 10.0 mm. Methods VX2 tumor cells were inoculated into the subcutaneous tissue of New Zealand rabbit′s thigh. Then the plant tumor were cut into small blocks under sterile conditions and transplanted into hepatic parenchyma in 30 New Zealand rabbits. The contrast media was injected through peripheral vein by single and double perfusion methods. The detection rate of two methods were compared. Results There were 41 hepatocellular carcinoma lesions in the 30 rabbits. There were 15 lesions with size between 3.0 mm and 5.0 mm, and 26 lesions between 5.0 mm and 10.0 mm in diameter. On CEUS, the VX2 tumor presented fast-in and fast-out pattern. In arterial phase, the lesion was enhanced rapidly. In portal venous phase, contrast began to wash out from the carcinoma. In delay phase, the enhancement of lesion was signiifcantly lower than the surrounding normal liver parenchyma. A total of 32 lesions were detected by single perfusion method, including 7 lesions ranging 3.0-5.0 mm and 25 lesions ranging 5.0-10.0 mm. A total of 39 lesions were detected by double perfusion method, including 13 lesions ranging 3.0-5.0 mm and 26 lesions ranging 5.0-10.0 mm. The detection rate of micro-hepatocellular carcinoma by single and double perfusion method was 78% and 95% respectively. The difference was statistically signiifcant (χ2=5.150, P=0.023). The detection rate of 3.0-5.0 mm lesions by single and double perfusion method was 47%and 87%, respectively. The difference was statistically signiifcant ( χ2=5.400, P=0.025). The detection rate of 5.0-10.0 mm lesions by single and double perfusion method was 96% and 100%, respectively. There was no statistically signiifcant difference (χ2=1.020, P=0.500). Conclusion The double perfusion method greatly promotes the detection of micro hepatocellular carcinoma, especially for the lesions less than 5.0 mm in diameter.
