Objective To investigate the effect of Danzhijiangtang capsule on serum,fat in type 2 diabetic rats.Methods The model of type 2 diabetes mellitus rats were established by injecting small does streptozotocin(STZ)into abdomen and feeding high sucrose-fat diet.All the rats were divided randomly into five groups.The level of blood glucose,serum insulin,insulin sensitivity index,blood fat(triglyceride, cholesterol,high-density lipoprotein,low-density lipoprotein),free fatty acid after treated were examined. Results Danzhijiangtang capsule could decrease the level of blood fat.Conclusion Danzhijiangtang capsule could improve the blood fat in type 2 diabetic rats.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical effect of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.Methods100 patients treated with HBO were taken as treatment group, and other 50 patients without HBO as control group. Their effectual rate were compared.ResultsThe total effectual rate of treatment group was 61%,and that of control group was 42%(χ2=4.86,P<0.05).ConclusionHBO can improve the recovery of nervous disorder after hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage.

Objective To study the role of glucocorticoid (GC) in treating patients with cyto- megalovirus (CMV) pneumonia following renal transplantation.Methods There were 75 cases CMV pneumonia following renal transplantation during one month (3 cases),2-6 months (64 cases) and more than 6 months (8 cases).All patients were subjected to the comprehensive treatments including anti-virus therapy.In 47 cases,GC was given (GC group),and in the rest 28 cases,GC was not administered (non-GC group).Results In GC group,40 cases (85.1%) were cured and there were 7 deaths (14.9%).In non-GC group,17 cases (60.7%) were cured and there were 11 deaths (39.3%).There was significant difference between two groups (P

AIM: To research the correlation factor of the anterior segment values of eyes with different axial lengths.METHODS: In this study, 697 cases 697 eyes were included.According to axial length we divided all the cases into short axial length group, normal axial length group, mild long axial length group, moderate long axial length group and severe long axial length group.The relevant indicators of the anterior segment values of patients in the five groups was comparatively analyzed.RESULTS: In the short axial length group, the anterior chamber volume (ACV) showed a significantly negative correlation with age;anterior chamber depth (ACD) showed a significantly negative correlation with age.In the normal axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with axial length(AXL);the anterior chamber angle (ACA) showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly positive correlation with corneal curvature;the ACD showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the mild long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly negative correlation with corneal curvature;the ACA showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL, and a significantly positive correlation with corneal curvature;the ACD showed a significantly negative correlation with age and a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the moderate long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age;the ACA showed a significantly positive correlation with AXL;the ACD showed a significantly positive correlation with AXL.In the severe long axial length group, the ACV showed a significantly negative correlation with age.There were no significant differences on ACV, ACA and ACD among mild long axial length group, moderate long axial length group and severe long axial length group (P>0.05), while the difference between other groups was significant (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: There has a correlation between the anterior chamber values (ACV, ACA, ACD) age and AXL for eyes which AXL were 22-27mm, while the correlation would disappear as the AXL became shorter or longer.There was a significant growth trend of anterior chamber values for eyes with AXL <27mm.

Objective To study the effect of glucocorticoid receptor(GCR) on the treatment of patients with nephrotic syndrome(NS) and to observe the accommodation effect of herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns on GCR levels.Methods The patients were divided into 3 groups: the healthy control group,treatment group Ⅰ(GC only) and treatment group Ⅱ(combination with herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns and GC),radioligand binding assay was used to measure the GCR levels of each group.At the same time,the urine protein ratio within 24 hours was observed in each group.Results Compared with healthy control group,the GCR levels of treatment group Ⅰ and Ⅱ were both reduced,but after 4 weeks of treatment in the treatment group Ⅱ,not only GCR level recovered but also the urine protein were decreased faster than treatment group Ⅰ.Conclusions Herbal gynostemmae,acanthopanax senticosus harns can accommodate the GCR levels of children with NS.They can also eliminate urine protein and cure NS ideally.

Objective:To observe the effect of calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) on the expression of osteoprotegerin (OPG) and receptor activator of nuclear factor-kappaB ligand (RANKL) in osteoblast cells through an in vitro breast cancer cell and osteoblast cell co-culture system. Methods:The metastatic breast cancer MDA-MB-231 or MDA-MB-435 cells were co-cultured with osteoblast MG63 cells to establish an in vitro microenvironment of bone metastasis of breast cancer. After treated with CGRP(1?108 mol/L),OPG and RANKL mRNA and protein expressions in osteoblast MG63 cells were examined by RT-PCR and Western blotting. Objective To observe the relationship between early lactate clearance and APACHEⅡ in critically ill patients. Methods In 121 critically ill patients,APACHE Ⅱ and lactate clearance rate were recorded. According to APACHE Ⅱ score,all patients were divided into≤10 score group, (11 ～20) score group,(21 ～30) score group and ＞ 30 score group, then compared the level of the early lactate clearance rate. The early lactate clearance rate were also compared between survival group and death group. Then the relationship between early lactate clearance and APACHE Ⅱ were analyzed. Results In( 11 ～20) score group,the early lactate clearance rate was lower than those in ≤ 10 score group, but the difference was not significant ( P ＞ 0. 05 ). The early lactate clearance rate in (21 ～ 30) score group ( 18. 35 ± 10. 01 ) % was lower than those in ( 11 ～ 20) score group (27.35 ± 10. 22) % ( t = 3.481, P ＜ 0. 01 ),in ＞ 30 score group( 11.98 ± 9. 93 )% those was lower compared with (21 ～30) score group( t = 2. 968, P ＜ 0. 01 ).
