1.Standardized treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2011;10(6):405-408
Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) is a subset of mesenchymal tumors and represents the most common mesenchymal neoplasm of gastrointestinal tract. In the last decade,GISTs has become well known because of the effectiveness of imatinib mesylate. The molecular targets for tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitor are not only of importance for the treatment of patients but also useful for the development of a novel drug modalities and new strategies in basic cancer therapy. The improved understanding of the molecular mechanism of GISTs has made its diagnosis standardized. Many multicenter phase Ⅱor phase Ⅲ clinical trials have been completed to establish the role of adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapy. It is important to select the correct management strategy, which is multidisciplinary, integrated, and individualized. This paper provides an overview of the rational treatment of GISTs at present.
2.A case of rhabdomyolysis with compartment syndrome in the right upper extremity
World Journal of Emergency Medicine 2020;11(3):185-187
Acute compartment syndrome refers to a series of
symptoms of muscles and nerves in the compartment
of the fascia due to acute ischaemia and hypoxia. It is
more common in the volar and calf of the forearm.[1]
Due to long-term ischaemia of muscles and nerves in
the fascia, muscle necrosis and neurological dysfunction
can occur, causing serious irreversible damage to
the limbs. However, rhabdomyolysis is one of the
major complications in the absence of fractures or
other trauma. Rhabdomyolysis syndrome refers to the
destruction and disintegration of striated muscle caused
by various causes, by which intracellular components
such as creatine kinase and myoglobin enter the blood
circulation, causing systemic disorders in the body and
even acute renal failure and other clinical syndromes.[2]
This case introduces rhabdomyolysis induced by skeletal
muscle ischaemia and hypoxia caused by upper limb
compression after drinking, accompanied by upper limb
compartment syndrome.
3.Endoscopy-assisted laparoscopic wedge resection for the treatment of gastric stromal tumor
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2013;(4):265-268
In recent years, minimally invasive surgery has become the mainstream trend of modern surgery with the rapid development of endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques. However, there are limitations when either technique is used alone. The laparoscopic and endoscopic cooperative surgery (LECS),which combines the advantages and makes up the deficiencies of these two techniques, has expanded the application field of minimally invasive surgery.Laparoscopic wedge resections are increasingly applied for gastric stromal tumor.Base on clinical experience of 43 patients who underwent laparoscopic wedge resections for surgical treatment of gastric stromal tumor,we conclude that this procedure is feasible and safe.
4.Relationship between coronary slow flow and vascular inflammatory factors
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2014;23(5):494-497
Objective:To explore the relationship between coronary slow flow (CSF) and vascular inflammatory fac-tors .Methods :A total of 229 inpatients with normal coronary angiography (CAG) results were selected as research object .According to CAG TIMI flow and corrected TIMI frame count ,patients were divided into CSF group (n=102 ,no obvious lesion in epicardial coronary artery but coronary flow was slow ) and normal coronary group (n=127 ,completely normal epicardial coronary artery and blood flow ) .General clinical data were collected ,vascular inflammatory factors were measured and their relationship with CSF was analyzed .Results:Compared with normal coronary group ,there were significant rise in levels of high sensitive C reactive protein [ (1.41+0.72 ) mg/L vs . (2.82+0.58) mg/L] ,interleukin 1 [ (0.18 ± 0.05)μg/L vs .(0.26 ± 0.06)μg/L] and interleukin 6 [ (0.363 ± 0.016) ng/L vs .(0.465 ± 0.015) ng/L] in CSF group , P<0.05 all .Logistic regression analysis indicated that vas-cular inflammatory factors were risk factor for CSF occurrence (OR= 1.008 , P= 0.015 ) .Conclusion:Coronary flow velocity is closely related to vascular inflammatory factors .
5.Relation of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura with Helicobacter pylori
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2006;0(20):-
Objective Clinical research was made to observe the relationship between idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura(ITP)and Helicobacter pylori(Hp)and to evaluate the effect of Hp eradication in the treatment of refractory ITP.Methods 13C urea breath test and Hp antibody of serum were made in 48 previously untreated patients with ITP from Department of Hematology of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University during November 2004 to May 2005 years and normal controls consisted of 52 heathy peoples whose gastroscopy was normal.Omeprazole, clarithromycin and amoxicillin were used for Hp eradication to refractory ITP with Hp infection.13C urea breath test,Hp antibody of serum and the level platelet and PAIgG was detected after therapy 4~8 weeks. Results Of 48 cases with ITP,33(68.18%)had Hp infection and 24 of 52(46.12%)normal population had Hp infection, the infection rate of Hp in ITP patients being statistically higher than the control group(P
