1.Attach importance to rational application of drugs after metabolic surgery
Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery 2015;14(7):528-530
Metabolic surgery have the ideal weight loss effect, can maintain the long-term ideal weight, and its effects on blood glucose control is better than the simple medical treatment. Therefore, metabolic surgery received widespread attention in China.More and more patients undergo metabolic surgery, but the surgeons often pay attention to the operation, neglecting the use of drugs after surgery. The patients are always complicated with a lack of vitamin and metabolic syndrome, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, polycystic ovary, sleep apnea, cardiovascular disease.Patients have taken drugs before surgery can cause esophageal reflux, ulcer, anemia, loss of calcium and other complications, patients need to be supplied with vitamins and minerals after surgery. So more attention should be paid to the rational application of drugs after surgery,to prevent adverse reactions from improper use of drugs, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
2.Protective effect of leptin on injured organ
International Journal of Surgery 2008;35(7):467-470
Leptin,a peptide hormone synthesized and secreted primarily by adipose tissue, plays an important role in the regulation of body weight, metabolic and endocrine responses. It has emerged recently as a protective factor in multiple organ resistance to injury. We reviewed the protective effect of leptin and its possible mechanism.
3.Biosafety and biocompatibility of a variety of biological materials
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2009;13(38):7559-7562
OBJECTIVE: To discuss the biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials. METHODS: A computer-based online search of CNKI, CBM and VIP as well as manual search were performed to collect articles about random cell control experiments and animal experiments of biological material biocompatibility published between 1990 and 2008. A total of 28 Chinese literatures were collected, and 7 were included mainly involving the cytotoxicity test methods and blood compatibility of the experimental medium, experimental grouping, experimental materials, methods of observation, experimental results, and experimental conclusion. In addition, biocompatibility of the biological material was analyzed to summarize the biocompatibility of the biological safety. RESULTS: Based on experiments of biosafety and biocompatibility of biomaterials, the cytotoxicity test and blood compatibility of various biomaterials, such as collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, are essential for the biological safety. The experimental results have shown that the biomaterials have good biocompatibility. CONCLUSION: A variety of biological materials present good biocompatibility, including collagen, chitosan, magnetic nanoparticle, metal vascular stent, sulphurated siliastic medical grade silicon rubber, polyurethane, ceramic coatings by micro-arc oxidation, based on the evaluation criteria.
4.Application of debate in case based learning in clinical teaching of neurology
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2012;(11):1130-1132
Case based learning(CBL)is one of the teaching modes in clinic education and it is important to explore its teaching methods and qualities. This article discussed on how to use debate in CBL in neurology teaching for seven-year-program students including its organization, topic choosing, rules and specific process in order to provide references for teaching reform.
5.Studies on Plantlet Regeneration of Monogolian Snakegourd (Trichosanthes kirilowii)in Tissue Culture
Chinese Traditional and Herbal Drugs 1994;0(12):-
When petiole segment, blade and cotyledon slice of Trichosanihes kililhai were cultured on MS medium with different growth regulators, callus and adventitious root were induced easily but with difficulty for adventitious bud. Yet adventitious bud can be induced when whole small blade, large blade segment and adventitious root tip were cultivated on MS medium with 0. 5mg/L of 6~13 A and propagated extensively whentransplanted on new media for successive transfer culture. When adventitious root bud was cultivated on MS medium wth 0. 5mg/L of NAA and 0. 5mg/L of 6~ 13A,shoot appeared, which can be grown into plantlet though the survival rate was not very satisfactory when further transplanted. Effect of blade segment size and its slicing technique,on the differentiation of adventitious bud was discussed.
6.A study on the quality of the processed blood salvaged during brain surgery
Chinese Journal of Blood Transfusion 2002;0(05):-
90%, respectively. Although some shape changed red blood cells were observed in the washed blood, discocytes were the dominant form, with the percentage of discocytes being (58.0 ? 8.0)%. A greater number of shape-changed red blood cells were found in 2-week-old banked RBCs (P
7.Phase-contrast MR imaging: Basical principles, influential factors and clinical applications in the assessment of cardiovascular diseases
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2009;25(12):2309-2311
Phase-contrast magnetic resonance imaging (PC-MRI) is a valuable and noninvasive method for evaluating hemodynamics and assessing the severity of disease processes involving the cardiovascular system. The basical principles, influential factors and the applications of PC-MRI in the assessment of cardiovascular diseases were reviewed in this paper.
8.Investigation on transitional care needs of gastric carcinoma patients following gastrectomy
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2017;33(17):1303-1306
Objective To investigate transitional care needs of the patients with gastric carcinoma before discharging, and improve their quality of life. Methods Through questionnaire and convenience sampling, 78 gastric carcinoma patients were recruited from a cancer hospital in Beijing. A self-made questionnaire was used to investigate the transitional care needs of the patients before discharging. Results 94.9% (74/78) of patients needed transitional care. 92.3% (72/78) of patients were willing to receive transitional care either from hospital they were discharged from or community medical institutions nearby with the guidance of the hospital. The most prevalent demands of the gastric cancer patients included food、return visit、the follow-up treatment、wound and defecation. The rates were 100.0%(78/78), 100.0% (78/78), 100.0% (78/78), 92.3% (72/78), 85.9% (67/78). Conclusions Most of the gastric carcinoma patients highly demanded transitional care. We should strengthen the management of patients after discharge, so as to improve their quality of life.
9.The particularity of female coronary heart disease and the thinking way of its diagnosis and treatment by integrative medicine.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(3):362-365
Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a major disease greatly harmful to the health of human beings. The incidence and case fatality rate of female CHD show an increasing tendency due to lack of enough attention. Through analyzing the epidemiology, risk factors, and clinical characteristics of female CHD, we emphasized that it is necessary to pay enough attention to the particularity of female CHD, and put forward the thinking way of diagnosis and treatment of integrative medicine as "integrating Chinese medicine and Western medicine by mutual complement of advantages; combining syndrome typing and disease identification by grasping laws; treating physically and mentally by a wholism concept; spreading health education, preventing and treating comprehensively".
