2.Influencing factors of life quality in lung cancer patients
Journal of International Oncology 2013;(6):447-449
Clinical studies show that the factors that impact the quality of life (QOL) in patients with lung cancer are comprehensive.Physiological factors include breathing difficulties,cancer-related fatigue.Depression, anxiety and other psychological factors also play a major role.Social and family support is also crucial to improve the QOL in patients with lung cancer.
3.THE ANALYSIS OF MATERNAL DEATH IN THEPAST THIRTY YEARS
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(03):-
96 cases of maternal death occurred in our hospital from 1960~1989 were reported. The average maternal mortality rate was 170.7/100 000.54.2% of the total death were caused by direct obstetric events. The sequences of the main causes were: induced by pregnancy hypertention, liver disease, obstetric hemorrage, cardiac disease. The maternal care in these cases was unsatisfactory. The average number of antenatal examination was only 1.8. 40.6% died of delivering at home. Most of them were sent to our hospital in emergency. Positive suggestion were given according to the analytic result.
4.Determination of Thioctic Acid in Human Plasma by LC-MS
China Pharmacy 2007;0(35):-
OBJECTIVE:An LC-MS method was developed for the determination of thioctic acid in human plasma.MET-HODS:The chromatographic separation was carried out on Zorbax SB C18 column with the mobile phase consisting of methanol-acetonitrile-0.1% glacial acetic acid(adjusted pH to 4.0 with ammonia)(55∶10∶35) at a flow rate of 0.3mL?min-1.Naproxen was used as internal standard.Column temperature was 40℃.SIM was used for determination of thioctic acid in human plasma.Ion mass spectral(m/z) of 205.0 was selected for thioctic acid and 229.3 for naproxen.RESULTS:The linear range of thioctic acid was 0.01~10?g?mL-1(r=0.999 9).The method recovery was within 97.61%~106.31%.The intra-day and inter-day RSD of thioctic acid(high, medium and low concentrations) were all less than 4%.CONCLUSION:The method is sensitive, accurate and reproducible, and suitable for the determination of thioctic acid in human plasma and its pharmacokinetic and bioavailability study.
5.Therapeutic Observation of Acupuncture-moxibustion for Urinary Retention after Anorectal Operation
Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2017;36(3):303-307
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture-moxibustion in treating urinary retention after anorectal operation.Method Forty patients with urinary retention after anorectal operation were randomly allocated to a treatment group and a control group, 20 cases each. The treatment group was intervened by acupuncture -moxibustion, and the control group by oral administration of Pyridostigmine bromide tablets. For the two groups, 10 d treatments were taken as a course. Two treatment courses later, the residual urine volume and spontaneous micturition were measured to see the changes, and the clinical efficacies were also compared. Result The total effective rate was 90.0% in the treatment group versus 70.0% in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The residual urine volume was significantly changed after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05). After the intervention, the residual urine volume in the treatment group was significantly different from that in the control group (P<0.05). After the treatment, the mean spontaneous micturition time was (16.52±3.18)min in the treatment group, versus (41.37±5.63)min in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion is an effective approach in treating urinary retention after anorectal operation, since it can reduce the residual urine volume and shorten the spontaneous micturition duration.
6.?-Synuclein Aggregation and Parkinson's Disease: Factors Affecting The Aggregation of ?-Synuclein
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(04):-
Parkinson's disease (PD) is one of the most frequent neurodegenerative disorders. ?-Synuclein was the first"PD gene"to be discovered. The involvement of ?-synuclein in PD was first suspected after two different ?-synuclein mutations were identified in two kindreds with autosomal-dominant PD. However, the discovery that ?-synuclein is the major component of Lewy bodies-pathological hallmarks of PD, confirmed its role in PD pathogenesis. Pathological aggregation of ?-synuclein might be responsible for neurodegeneration. Multiple factors have been shown to affect ?-synuclein aggregation in vitro or in vivo. In addition, soluble oligomers of ?-synuclein might be even more toxic than the insoluble fibrils found in degenerative diseases. So it is significant to investigate factors affecting ?-synuclein aggregation, especially their accurate effects on the aggregation process.
9.A novel single-sided groove target release biodegradable stent inhibits coronary artery intimal hyperplasia
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2017;21(26):4222-4227
BACKGROUND: Theoretically, a novel single-sided groove target release biodegradable stent can avoid drug-induced inflammation of the local vessel wall, reduce drug dose, decrease the likelihood of thrombosis, and relieve stenosis.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the influence of the novel single-sided groove target release biodegradable stent on intimal hyperplasia in a healthy porcine coronary artery model.METHODS: Eighteen healthy pigs were randomly divided into three groups, bare metal stent group, Firebird metal stent group and Firehawk stent group, which were implanted with L605 cobalt chromium alloy bare metal stents and L605 cobalt chromium alloy non-biodegradable rapamycin-eluting stent and L605 cobalt chromium alloy biodegradable rapamycin-eluting stent, respectively. Two same stents were implanted into the left anterior descending artery and the right coronary artery of each pig, respectively. After 1 and 3 months of follow-up, coronary angiography was performed, and the pigs were killed to take coronary artery samples for detection of intima hyperplasia.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: At 1 and 3 months after stent implantation, no stenosis, thrombosis and aneurysm occurred in the three groups shown by the coronary angiography; the lumen loss was significantly lower in the Firebird metal stent group and Firehawk stent group than the bare metal stent group (P < 0.05), while there was no difference between the Firebird metal stent group and Firehawk stent group. Histopatologically, there was no coronary arterial tissue necrosis or luminal thrombosis in the three groups. Compared with the bare metal stent group, at 1 and 3 months after stent implantation, the neointimal area and the percentage of stenosis were significantly lower in the Firebird metal stent group and Firehawk stent group (P < 0.05), while the residual lumen area and internal elastic lamina area were significantly higher (P < 0.05). Additionally, there was no significant difference between the Firebird metal stent group and Firehawk stent group. Overall, the Firehawk stent that achieves the same clinical efficacy as the non-biodegradable rapamycin-eluting stent effectively inhibits intimal hyperplasia, and prevents stent restenosis after stent implantation. However, future investigations on the long-term effect are warranted.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(04):-
The amount of ~3H-TdR incorporation into D?A of FRTL5 cells was expressed as CPM/?gD?A. THe responsibity of FRTL5 cells to stimulators such as TSH was expressed as % against thJ control CPM/?gDNA of the experimental group divided by that of the control. The responsibilities of FRTL5 cells which were recovered after being fr-o zen under-180℃ for a long time, to TSH 200?g/ml were 2741% and 3028% respectively, and the responsibilities of cells cultured in TSH media continuously for a long time, to TSH 200?u/ml and 2000?u/ml were 736% and 719% respectively. There was statistically significant differences between the two groups of the cells mentioned above. This showed that freezing FRTL5 Cells for a long time Such as 2 months was able to recover the decreased responsibility of the Cells due to a long continuous TSH culture.
