Objective To investigate the expression of NF ?B in the lungs of adjuvant arthritis (AA) rats and to explore its possible role in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) pulmonary involvement. Methods The level of active NF ?B protein was detected by Western blot and the level of NF ?BmRNA by in situ hybridization histochemistry The intensity of expression was analyzed by micro image analysis system. Results The levels of active NF ?B protein and NF ?B mRNA in the lungs of AA rats were much higher than those of the controls ( P
2.Studying homeostasis from interaction between metabolism and immune system:revelation of ying-wei theory based on complexity science
China Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Pharmacy 2005;0(10):-
The interaction between immune response and metabolic regulation can be viewed as a central homeostatic mechanism, dysfunction of which will lead to many diseases. This nonlinear interaction, which has the characteristic of super-complexity,can’t be controlled unless it is studied as a holism and the change of condition is researched. To study this homeostasis,bottom-up method used in system biology is limited.Ying-wei theory of TCM uses another method to describe di erent states of metabolic and immune systems e ectively. The unique approaches and rich experiences applied in TCM are of great value.
3.The Role of Airway Inflammation in Asthma
The Singapore Family Physician 2019;45(6):7-10
Uncontrolled airway inflammation contributes to persistent asthma symptoms and risks of exacerbations and airway remodelling. many asthma patients are non-adherent to inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) treatment and have a discordance between subjective symptom perception versus actual control of asthma, i.e. airway inflammation. Objective measurements of airway inflammation, e.g. fENO and sputum cell count quantification can aid clinical management. Nonetheless, there are many limitations in the tests’ availability and
interpretation. Hence, these tests are used mainly for difficult-to-treat or severe airway diseases. In the 2019 Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) strategy report, short-acting beta-agonist (SABA) monotherapy is no longer recommended in Step 1 and ICS is recommended across all asthma severity to emphasize the importance of controlling airway inflammation. Doctors should discuss and recommend the most appropriate ICS therapy (dosing regimen and inhaler device) that is acceptable to the patient, to promote adherence. Appropriate use of ICS is crucial in achieving the management targets of asthma: maintenance symptom control and prevention of asthma risks.

7.Study on the change of serum, aqueous humor and tear lL-2,slL-2,NO,TAC,and SOD of patients with cataract
International Eye Science 2014;(9):1635-1637
To study and observe the changes of serum, aqueous humor and tear lL - 2, slL - 2, NO, TAC, and SOD of patients with cataract.
●METHODS: Totally 60 patients with cataract in our hospital from November 2011 to September 2013 were included as the observation group, and 60 patients with eye traumas were as the control group. The serum, aqueous humor and tear lL - 2, slL - 2, NO, TAC, and SOD of two groups were detected and compared, and the detection levels of patients with different stages were compared.
●RESULTS: The serum, aqueous humor and tear lL-2, TAC, and SOD of observation group were all lower than those of control group, the slL-2 and NO were all higher than those of control group. The serum, aqueous humor and tear detection levels of patients at different stages had obvious differences, and the aqueous humor lL - 2 were lower than those of serum and tear, the slL-2 were higher than those of serum and tear, with statistically significant differences.
●CONCLUSlON: The change of serum, aqueous humor and tear lL-2, slL-2, NO, TAC, and SOD of patients are all great, and the influence of the stages for those indexes are great too, the inflammatory response state of aqueous humor are more obvious.
9. Efficacy of single pemetrexed as a second-line treatment for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer
Tumor 2013;33(10):919-921
bjective: To investigate the efficacy of pemetrexed as a second-line treatment for patients with NSCLC (advanced non-small cell lung cancer). Methods: Fifty-six patients with stages III B-IV NSCLC, who failed in the first-line cisplatin-based chemotherapy, were enrolled in this study between January 2008 and January 2012. All the patiients received pemetrexed 500 mg/m2 on day 1 and repeated every 21 days as a second-line chemotherapy. After two cycles of chemotherapy, the clinical efficacy and the adverse effects were evaluated. The median survival time and the one-year survival rate were calculated. Results: All the patients received 2-6 cycles of the chemotherapy with a total of 178 cycles. All patients were evaluable. Of the 56 patients, no one achieved complete response, 9 (16.1%) achieved partial response, 10 (33.9%) achieved stable disease, 28 (50.0%) achieved progressive disease. The objective response rate was 16.1% (9/56). The median survival time was 8.9 months, and the one-year survival rate was 30.35%. The common adverse effects were bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinal toxicities with a light severity and could be tolerable. No treatment-related deaths occurred. Conclusion: Chemotherapy with pemetrexed as a second-line treatment for advanced NSCLC has a definite efficacy, and the adverse effects can be tolerable. Copyright © 2013 by TUMOR.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
Aim To Study the inhibition mechanism of edelfosine on cytokinesis in Schizosaccharomyces pombe. Methods To observe the inhibition of cytokinesis and growth, the experiments of inhibition of cyto-kinesis and parallel growth were carried out. To explore the inhibition mechanism of edelfosine, the experiment of retransfection of yeast genes was carried out. Results Edelfosine inhibited the cytokinesis of S.pombe in low dosage and cell growth in high dosage. The mid2△、spm1△ and pmp1△ strains were resistant to edelfosine in high dosage. However, these strains retrieved the sensitive to edelfosine in high dosage by retransfected the relevant genes, respectively. A reciprocal action, which was the Mid2p induced the phosphorylated Spm1, while the Pmp1 dephosphorylated Spm1, existed among the Spm1、Mid2 and Pmp1 in S.pombe treated with edelfosine. Conclusion The inhibition of edelfosine on cytokinesis and cell growth due to the effect of Spm1、Mid2 and Pmp1.
