Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2016;39(11):1054-1056
Cervical spinal canal tumors is not rare, accounting for about 15%of all spinal tumors. Due to the particularity of its anatomical location and the severity of operative complications, it is considered as a difficult point in spinal surgery. With the development of imaging medicine and various surgical techniques, many new theories and techniques have been developed. Its overall treatment effect is satisfactory, but the serious surgical complications not rare. This article reviews the progress in treatment of cervical spinal canal tumors, in order to provide a reference for the further improvement of cervical spinal canal tumors treatment .
5.Impact of parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility on children's health in the future
Chinese Journal of Health Management 2012;(6):367-370
Objective To assess the impact of parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility on children's mental health so as to provide evidence for improving health equity. Methods Chinese general social survey 2005 (CGSS2005) dataset was used for multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).Results The proportion of children whose father or mother was of lowerclass occupation was 59.0% and 62.9%,respectively.When grew up,this figure dropped to 49.8%.Those whose father was in the higher-class occupational group reported better mental health status (F =1.449,P=0.015).Downward occupational class mobility experience also increased the risk of mental illness (F =3.050,P =0.048).Conclusion This study suggests an independent relationship between mental health and parents' occupational class and intergenerational occupational mobility.

7.Biomarkers of deep venous thrombosis after total joint arthroplasty
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;19(17):2775-2781
BACKGROUND:Deep venous thrombosis is one of the common and fatal complications of total joint arthroplasty. For our clinical practice,we require duplex ultrasound and venography to evaluate the presence of deep venous thrombosis, but the diagnostic tools have several disadvantages.OBJECTIVE:To explore the appropriate and non-invasive biomarkers in the early diagnosis of deep venous thrombosis.METHODS:With the key words of Thrombosis,DVT,Biomarker,Total Joint Arthroplasty,D-dimer,Factor VIII,Thrombin Generation,Fibrin Monomer,P-selectin,Inflammatory Cytokines,Microparticles,Leukocyte Count,Genetic factors,MicroRNAs,a computer-based search was performed for articles published in PubMed database from January 1995 to March 2015.After the initial screening, the reserved articles were further detailed, summarized and concluded.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totaly 66 articles were colected. This brief review is used to analyze the mechanism of the biomarkers which are classified into three levels as folow: detection of blood coagulation, inflammation markers and molecular biology and genetics-based biomarkers. The review also showed a great need of economic and safer biomarkers for the clinic and provided the theoretical basis to diagnose and predict deep venous thrombosis in an early stage.
8.Clinical Application of Restoring of Short Coronal Cracked Molar with Cutting Titanium Inlay Crown
Tianjin Medical Journal 2014;(5):493-494
Objective To estimate the clinical effect of cutting titanium inlay crown in the restoration of short cracked molar. Methods Sixty-four short coronal cracked teeth were randomly divided into group A and group B. Group A were treated by crown. Group B were treated by titanium inlay crown. The curative effect was evaluated every year and lasted 2 years. Results One year after the repair, there was no significant difference in the achievement ratio between two groups (93.8%vs 100%,χ2=2.064, P>0.05). Two years after the repair, the success rate was significantly higher in group B (96.9%) than that of group A (68.8%,χ2=8.892, P<0.01). The failed cases of group A were treated by cutting titanium inlay crown, showing good retention. Conclusion The retention of a short cracked molar can be improved by means of cutting titanium inlay crowns.
9.EFFECTS OF GESTATIONAL TOBACOO AND ALCOHOL EXPOSURE ON STATURE AND NEURAL DEVELOPMENT OF OFFSPRING IN MICE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 2004;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the effect of prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposure on stature and neural development of offspring. Methods: Female mice were exposed to tobacco smoke and alcohol drink from D6 of pregnancy to parturition. The early physical development, neurobehavioral and antioxidative functions were measured in offspring mice. Results: Compared with control, offspring subjected to prenatal exposure showed significant reduced body and organ weights as well as reduced gestational body weight gain. It also resulted in remarkable prolonged neonatal reflexes and reduced motive, coordinative and locomotor activities. Step-down and Y-maze tests revealed marked destroyed memory and learning ability. Futhermore, MDA in offspring brain cytosol and mitochondria increased significantly and the activities of SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and GST were decreased. Conclusion: Prenatal tobacco and alcohol exposures interfere with the early physical and neural development in mice, probably related to decreased antioxidative functions.
