1. Growth evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine listed companies-by Topsis evaluation method based on factor analysis

Using 54 traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) listed companies in China as a research sample, panel data of 54 companies from 2012 to 2016 was used, the 11 financial indicators was selected to build a Chinese medicine listed companies growth evaluation index system by the factor analysis method. On this basis, Topsis method was used to calculate the comprehensive factor of TCM listed companies and the optimal solution of the closeness degree, in order to analyze the growth of TCM listed companies. The results showed that about 79.63% of TCM listed companies’ comprehensive factor score and the optimal solution of the close degree near the distribution from 0.4 to 0.7, indicating that the growth of TCM listed companies have a greater room for improvement; Only 3.7% of TCM listed companies comprehensive factor score and the optimal solution near the distribution from 0.8 to 0.9. China's TCM listed companies did not play its leading role. Finally, this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions for promoting the healthy development of TCM companies.
2.Detection and Typing of Herpes Simplex Virus in Genital lesions of Patiens Attending STD Clinic

Objective To detect and type herpes simplex virus (HSV) in genital lesions of the patients attending STD clinic. Methods Clinical data were collected and analyzed from patients with anogenital non-herpetic lesions including induration or furuncle, fissure, folliculitis, single ulcer and so on. HSV was detected and typed by culture and PCR with specimens taken from these lesions. Results One hundred and five cases were recruited in this study. Among them, 18 cases presented induration (furuncle), 15 fissure, 16 folliculitis, 7 abrasion, 12 single ulcer, 25 nonspecific erythema and 12 balanoposthitis with edema and exudation. HSV was found in 33.3%(6/18), 20%(3/15), 37.5%(6/16), 28.6%(2/7), 33.3%(4/12), 20%(5/25) and 50%(6/12) of these lesions, repectively, by PCR, while in 22.2%(4/18), 13.3%(2/15), 25%(4/16), 14.3%(1/7), 33.3%(4/12), 8%(2/25) and 41.7%(5/12), repectively, by viral culture. The positive rates of HSV from all these non-herpetic lesions were 30.5% (32/105) and 21% (22/105), respectively (? = 0.095, P = 0.114), by PCR and viral culture. The results of HSV typing were consistent between PCR and immunofluorescence with type-specific monoclonal antibodies. Among those with HSV infections, HSV-1 infection acounted for 9.4% (3/32), and HSV-2 90.6% (29/32). Conclusions The clinical manifestations of genital HSV infections vary, and HSV could be isolated from lesions of induration (furuncle), fissure, folliculitis, abrasion, single ulcer, nonspecific erythema and balanoposthitis with edema and exudation. HSV-2 is the predominant type.
3.A Clinical Study on the Co-infection of Other Sexually Transmitted Infectionsin Patients with Genital Herpes

4. Advances in the Function of Cytochrome P450 Enzymes in Brain and Their Research Progress in Neuropsychiatric Disease

Cytochrome P450 enzymes participate in the biotransformation of various organic compounds in living organisms. Cytochrome P450 enzymes are present and active in various brain regions, which mediate the synthesis and metabolism of various endogenous substances in the brain, so the enzymes play an important role in maintaining homeostasis of the central nervous system. And cytochrome P450 enzymes in brain are widely involved in metabolism of central drugs such as tramadol, so the changes of their activities or expressions may affect the drug's efficacy in brain. In addition, in view of the important roles of cytochrome P450 enzymes in the biotransformation of endogenous and exogenous substances in brain, the importance of their genetic polymorphism or activity changes in neuropsychiatric diseases is being gradually described. Therefore, in order to provide theoretical basis for the development of related targeted therapeutic drugs and explore whether cytochrome P450 enzymes in the brain can be used as therapeutic targets for central diseases, the development in the function of cytochrome P450 enzymes in brain and their recent advances in neuropsychiatric diseases by reviewing the relevant research in recent years are summarized.
5.A Study on Infection and Colonization of Mycoplasma genitalium and Ureaplasma ureafyticum in Dif- ferent Male Populations

Objectives To investigate the infection and colonization of Mycoplasma genitalium and Ureaplasma urealyticum in different male populations, to explore the association of M. genitalium and U. urealyticum with nongonococcal urethritis (NGU) respectively. Methods A case-controlled, cross sectional study of four different male populations was performed, namely: NGU patients (G1), non-NGU subjects attending STD clinic (G2), men who had sex with men participating in a health education program (G3), and healthy volunteers (G4). Nested PCR and culture were used to detect U. urealyticum. Nested PCR and PCR product sequencing were applied to detect M. genitalium. Results The prevalence rates of M. genitalium in the four study populations were 25.0%(25/100), 6.4%(6/94), 5.5%(6/110) and 0% respectively. Significant difference was found between each two groups except G2~G3 with a p value of 0.80. By multivariate regression analysis, controlling for the age of first sex, new sexual partners, urethritis and condom use in the previous 3 months, M. genitalium was only associated with urethritis (P= 0.004, OR = 6.754, 95% CI 1.833~24.893). The direct sequencing of PCR products showed gene mutations, in comparison with the reference sequence in GenBank, in 3 samples. The prevalence rates of U. urealyticum by PCR in 4 groups were 40.0%, 44.7%, 22.7% and 46.9% respectively, and there was no significant difference between G1~G2, G1~G4 or G2~G4 with a p value of 0.419, 0.325, 0.868 respectively, but the prevalence rate of U. urealyticum in G3 was significantly lower than that in other groups. Conclusions M. genitalium is strongly associated with NGU and the prevalence rate is significantly higher in groups with high risk sexual behaviors than that in general population. There is no association between the colonization of U. urealyticum and NGU.
6. Problems and countermeasures on the management and application of antiseptic drugs in Chinese hospitals

Antiseptic drugs are the most popular anti-infectious drugs in daily use in hospitals, making significant contribution to public health. In view of the increasingly serious problems in the use and management of antiseptic drugs, the Chinese government has taken a series of measures to guide their rational use. However, due to the imperfect regulatory mechanism and weak sense of rational drug use, the problem of irrational use of antiseptic drugs is still existing. By studying the current situation and existing problems of antiseptic drugs in the country, this paper discussed the effective management means of such drugs, and provided feasible strategies and suggestions for standardizing their rational use.
7.Wilson's disease and hepatic transplantation.

To investigate the changes in neurological symptoms and signs, as well as serum copper, serum ceruloplasmin after hepatic transplantation in patients with Wilson's disease, neurological symptoms and signs, serum copper, serum ceruloplasmin before and after hepatic transplantation in 18 patients with Wilson's disease were observed, and those changes were followed up in 20 non-operative controls treated with penicillamine. Our results showed that the neurological symptoms and signs, serum copper and serum ceruloplasmin were improved in the operative group but deteriorated in the non-operative control group. Our study showed that hepatic transplantation is better than penicillamine in the treatment of Wilson's disease.

8.Induction of the expression of heme oxygenase gene in PC12 cells by hypoxia.

To investigate the expression of the HO-1 gene in PC12 cells in hypoxic environment and gain further insight to the role of HO-1 in cerebral ischemia, PC12 cells were exposed to hypoxia environment (95% N2, 5% CO2) for 0.5 h, 1 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h, 24 h respectively. The level of HO-1 mRNA was examined by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR); the volume of COHb in the media were measured spectrophotometrically and the cGMP concentration of PC12 cell extracts was determined by radioimmunoassay. We found that after exposure to hypoxia for 1 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h, 24 h, HO-1 mRNA increased by 3%, 4%, 17%, 31% 36% as compared with that in control group respectively (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05); the COHb increased by 12%, 29%, 59%, 88%, 94% as compared with that in control group respectively (P < 0.01 or P < 0.05), and the cGMP concentration were 2.2, 3.4, 5.2, 8.1, 10.9-fold as that of the control group (P < 0.01). We are led to conclude that hypoxia induced the expression of HO-1 gene, the production of endogenous CO, and the concentration of cGMP was elevated as well.

9.Basic Fibroblast Growth Factor and Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor-1in Human Meningiomas

The expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and fibroblast growth factor receptor-1 (FGFR-1) in human meningiomas and the relationships between their expression and the tumors' histological features and angiogenesis were investigated by means of immunohistochemical technique. The expression of bFGF and FGFR-1 was detected by antibody of bFGF or FGFR-1.The tumors' angiogenesis was evaluated by microvascular density (MVD) and, which was observed by use of CD34-antibody immunohistochemically. The results showed that there were varied degrees of the expression of bFGF and FGFR-1 proteins in meningiomas. The expression was correlated with the tumors' histological characters and angiogenesis. It was concluded that bFGF and FGFR-1 might play important roles in meningiomas' angiogenesis and proliferation. The expression positive rate of bFGF and FGFR-1 may provide an indication of evaluating the histological and malignant degree of the tumor.
10.Experimental Studies on PNP Suicide Gene Therapy of Hepatoma

To investigate the killing effect of PNP/MeP-dR suicide gene system on hepatoma cells,pcDNA3. 0/PNP, an eukaryotic expression vector harboring E. coli PNP gene, was transfected into human hepatoma HepG2 cells by liposome-mediated method. A HepG2 cell line with stable PNP gene expression, HepG2/PNP, was established with presence of G418 selection. The cell growth curves were determined with trypan blue staining. The sensitivity of HepG2/PNP to MePdR and bystander effects were assayed by MTT and FCM methods. The enzymatic activity of the product of PNP gene was determined by HPLC method. The cytotoxic effects of MeP-dR on HepG2/PNP cells were obvious (IC50 =4.5μmol/L) and all HepG2/PNP cells were killed 4 days after the treatment with 100μmol/L MeP~dR. In mixed cultures containing increasing percentages of HepG2/PNP cells, total population killing was demonstrated when HepG2/PNP cells accounted for as few as 5% of all HepG2 cells 8 days after the treatment with 100μmol MeP-dR. Highpressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) demonstrated that the PNP enzyme could convert MePdR into 6-MP. PNP/MeP-dR suicide gene system had an advantage over traditional suicide gene systems for hepatoma gene therapy. Our e results suggest that high-level bystander effects of this system result in significant anti-tumor responses to hepatoma gene therapy, especially in vivo.
