Objective:To explore the breakthrough points of pharmaceutical care in the anti-infection treatment by clinical phar-macists. Methods:Using the pharmaceutical care carried out by clinical pharmacists in the treatment of infected patients as the exam-ple, the breakthrough points of pharmaceutical care in the anti-infection treatment by clinical pharmacists were discussed. Results:Clinical pharmacists should be in accordance with the specific clinical conditions to find out such breakthrough points of pharmaceutical care as judging the indications of antibacterial drugs use, assisting in the development of drug therapeutic regimens ( including the choice of species, dosage and solvent, the optimization of PK/PD parameters and the infusion speed) , paying close attention to bacteri-al culture, concerning on drug interactions, monitoring adverse drug reactions and efficacy, providing patient medication education and so on. Conclusion:Clinical pharmacists can participate in anti-infection treatment and carry out individual pharmaceutical care to en-sure the safety and efficacy of drugs.

Objective Investigated and analyzed the data of routine coefficient of variation (R CV ) from clinical laboratories of the second and the third grade hospital, we have drawed up Internal Quality Control(IQC) requirement of clinical chemistry in Shanghai Methods In this survey, we defined IQC requirement a quarter of CLIA’88 proficiency testing criteria as acceptable analytical performance From 147 clinical laboratories, we get 3 570 336 IQC data of 23 analytes of clinical chemistry which was analyzed and percentiles were calculated The outcome from the statistical analysis was compared with recommendation from the Ministry of Health in1985 Results 138 clinical laboratories (94 0%) CV results in Shanghai were less than R CV recommendation from the Ministry of Health About 111 clinical laboratories (75 5%) results are according with IQC requirement Conclusion IQC requirement is suitable for the clinical laboratories in Shanghai 75 5% clinical laboratories accorded with IQC requirement and 24 5% clinical laboratories should improve technique to carry out the IQC requirement

Objectives: To evaluate mice as experimental animal for Chlamydia pneumoniae, a common cause of acute respiratory infections in human. Methods: Intranasal inoculation of Icr mice with C. Pneumoniae induced a prolonged course of lung infection, as demonstrated by persistence of lung pathology(60 days). Results: Icr mice were susceptible to C. pneumoniae. Lung pathology was characterized by patchy interstitial pneumonitis with predominately neutrophil leukocyte infiltration in the early(7 days) and lymphocytes infiltration in the later stages(14 days later) of infection. Conclusions:Icr mice were susceptible to C. pneumoniae and the mouse model is useful for the investigation of the pathogenesis of C. pneumoniae infection.

Organic chemistry experiment is early and important practical course for pharmacy speciality after entering college, which is very important for training their practical abilities and spirit of innovation. The method of integrating four autonomies (self-designing,teaching,operating and summarizing) has been tried in organic chemistry experiment teaching, which completely takes the student as the center and puts emphasis on inquiry learning and ability training. The preliminary practice shows that it is of benefit to arousing students' enthusiasm for study, training their ability and developing their innovative consciousness and spirit.

Objective: To investigate the association between ABCC2 gene polymorphisms and cyclosporine-induced liver injury in re-nal transplant recipients. Methods: The renal transplant recipients were divided into the liver injury group and the control group. Five single nucleotide polymorphisms ( rs4919395, rs2804398, rs4148394, rs4148397 and rs3740065) of ABCC2 were detected by high-throughput technique. The genotypes and haplotypes were analyzed between the groups. Results: There were 35 patients and 182 patients respectively in the liver injury group and the control group. No significant differences in alleles and genotypes were found between the groups (P>0. 05), and the SNP haplotypes showed no significant difference between the groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion: There is no association of ABCC2 polymorphisms (rs4919395, rs2804398, rs4148394, rs4148397 and rs3740065) with the liver injury induced by cy-closporine.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate mice as experimental animals for Chlamydia pneumoniae (C. pneumoniae) infection and investigate the pathogenesis of C. pneumoniae derived pneumonitis.
METHODSIcr mice were inoculated with the C. pneumoniae strain, CWL-029, either intranasally or intravenously. After a single dose inoculation, mice were killed on the 1st, 3rd, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and 60th days. The pathological changes in lung tissue were analyzed.
RESULTSThe Icr mice were shown to be susceptible to C. pneumoniae. Inoculation into mice with C. pneumoniae induced a prolonged course of lung infection, as demonstrated by persistence of lung pathology (up to 60 days). Via intranasal inoculation of mice, lung pathology was characterized by patchy interstitial pneumonitis with predominantly neutrophil leukocyte infiltration early (within the first 7 days) and lymphocyte infiltration in the later stages (14 days later) of infection. After intravenous inoculation, a similarly developed interstitial pneumonitis was observed, but it was milder and patchier, especially in early stages. C. pneumoniae DNA was detected by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) intermittently in the lung tissue. Inoculated mice developed serum IgG antibody responses.
CONCLUSIONThe Icr mice were susceptible to C. pneumoniae, resulting in a pulmonary infection characterized by interstitial pneumonitis, occurring most strongly via intranasal inoculation.
