Abstract
Neonatal disease screening is a major tool for prevention of birth defects, and monitoring and evaluation of neonatal disease screening facilitates the improvements in screening quality and efficiency. A strict quality control of screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of neonatal diseases is performed in Zhejiang Provincial Center for Quality Control of Neonatal Disease Screening. In this study, the data pertaining to screening of neonatal inherited metabolic diseases, hearing loss and congenital heart diseases were collected in Zhejiang Province from 2018 to 2020, and the screening rate, recall rate of suspected screening-positive neonates, and detection rate of diseases were calculated to assess the quality of neonatal disease screening. The screening rate and recall rate of neonatal inherited metabolic diseases, hearing loss and congenital heart diseases were high in Zhejiang Province, and the detection of screened diseases was stable, indicating a high overall quality of neonatal disease screening. Increasing the impact of neonatal disease screening and consolidating the screening achievements should be given a high priority during the future quality control of neonatal disease screening in Zhejiang Province.

Objective To investigate the dynamic characteristic of molecular epidemiology of group A Rotavirus (RV) by analyzing viral genotypes, disease seasonality, and the patients' age distribution,so that to provide theoretical basis for preyention and control of RV diarrhea in children.MethodsA total of 380 RV antigen positive samples were selected from 5176 stool specimens collected from <5 year-old patients with acute diarrhea who were admitted to Children's Hospital of Fudan University during January 2006 to December 2008. Multiplex nested reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to analyze the RV genotypes.ResultsDuring 2006-2008,the incidence of RV related diarrhea peaked from October to December and about 96.8% of all RV episodes occurred in patients younger than 3 years old,The predominant genotype was G3 which accounted for 58.4% (222/380),G9 was an emerging genotype with the prevalence rate as high as 10.8% (41/380).G1 and G2 types were rarely found during the three years.Infections with both G3 and G9 were the major mixed genotype G infection. Genotype P [8] was predominant with the prevalence rates of 64.6% (53/82) and 46.8% (58/124) in 2006 and 2008,respectively,whereasgenotype P[4] was predominant in 2007 (38,5%,67/174).P[6] and P[9] were found as minor types. The major mixed genotype P infection were genotype P[4] and P[8]. The proportion of undetermined genotype G and genotype P strains tended to increasing during 2006-2008.Genotype P [8]G3 was the major RV strain (20.5%) in Shanghai during 2006-2008 and the other prevalent genotypes included P[4]G3 and P[m]G3.Conclusion The infection of group A RV in Shanghai presents some new molecular epidemiology characteristics during 2006-2008,such as switch of predominant genotypes and diversification of prevalent genotypes.

Abstract
Transport of filter paper-dried blood spot samples is a critical procedure during the screening of neonatal inherited metabolic diseases, which is of great significance for the screening accuracy. In order to ensure the timing and safety of sample transport, the cold chain positioning system was initiated by Zhejiang Provincial Center for Quality Control of Neonatal Disease Screening since March 2015. Based on the framework of neonatal disease screening information management system, the function of the logistics transport management system was included in this positioning system, with aims to achieve the monitoring and tracking of sample transport processes through real-time positioning of the sample transport box via China Unicom 4G logistics card and global positioning system/BeiDou Navigation Satellite System. The samples are maintained in a transport environment at 2 to 8 °C via the temperature-controlled box made of 5 °C phase-changed cold-stored materials and general packet radio service (GPRS) temperature recorders. The mean pretest turnover duration reduced from 8.44 days to 5.03 days following introduction of the cold chain positioning system, and the percentage of timely sample delivery increased from 31.69% to 77.90%, while the withdrawal rate of unqualified samples reduced from 0.12% to 0.08%. The cold chain positioning system meets the requirements of transport of filter paper-dried blood spot samples, which has a high potential in screening of neonatal inherited metabolic diseases.

ObjectiveTo investigate the long term effect of different antihypertensive agents on renal hemodynamics with ultrasound Doppler.Methods52 essential hypertensive patients were divided into three groups according to the antihypertensive agent they took: angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitor (ACEI), calcium channel blocker (CCB) and β-adrenoceptor blocker (βB). The blood pressures of right upper arms were measured with mercury column blood pressure gauge using Korotkoff method. Renal hemodynamics were examined with ultrasound Doppler before and after treatment with agents. ResultsSystolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) of all patients were decreased significantly. An significant correlation was found between the deceases of blood pressure and the betterment of renal homodynamic parameters in ACEI and CCB groups, but not in βB group. ConclusionTo a degree, the betterment of renal hemodynamics is correlation with the reduction of systemic blood pressure and mechanism of action of antihypertensive agents.
