1.Resin-Phase Spectrophotometric Determination of Zinc in Human Hair With ?-Cyclodextrin Cross-Linked Polymer
Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To develop a method for determination of trace zinc in human hair. Methods ?-cyclodextrin polymer(?-CDP) was synthesized using epichlorohydrin as the cross-link agent and it was used as the carrier of 2-?5-bromo-(2-pyridylazo)-5-diethylaminophenol. Resin-phase spectrophotometric method with (?-CDP)and 5-Br-PADAP was used for determination of trace zinc. Results The maximum absorbance of inclusion resin was at 570 nm with apparent molar absorption of 8.63?105 L/(mol?cm). The Beer's law was obeyed in the range of 4-720 ?g/L. The regression equation of calibration was y=0.001 1+0.132 0x, with a correlation coefficient of 0.998 4 and the recovery rates were 99.5%-100.4%. Conclusion The method is simple, sensitive, accurate and can be used for the determination of trace zinc in human hair with satisfactory results.
2.A STUDY ON SUPPRESSIVE ACTIVITY OF POSTBURN SERUM ON T LYMPHOCYTE PROLIFERATION RESPONSE
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(06):-
The effect of postburn serum on T lymphocyte proliferation response was studied. The results showed that postburn serum was able to inhibit T lymphocyte transformation. The degree of serum suppression correlated with reduced T lymphocyte transformation after burn. Postburn serum also showed significant suppressive activities upon both interleukin 2 (IL-2) production and interaction betweeen IL-2 and IL-2 receptor (IL-2R), but had no significant effect on interleukin 1 (1L-1) producticn. This result indicated that postburn serum might inhibit IL-2 production and response through certain pathway other than IL-1 production, resulting in impaired T lymphocyte proliferation response.

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of thyrotropin-releasing hormone receptor (TRH-R) type-1and type-2 in ethane dimethanesulphonate (EDS)-treated rat testis, and to discuss the significance of its expression in Leydig cells. Methods To make the injured testis Leydig cells rat model with EDS treatment. Western blotting, immunohistochemical ABC and immunofluorescence double labeling methods were used to detect the expression and location of TRH-R1 and R2 in the testicular tissues of EDS-treated-day 2,day 7,day 14,day 21 and day 28 rat mode, respectively. Results Western blotting results showed that the positive immunochemical staining was not found in the testicular tissues of the EDS-treated day 2 to day 14, on the other hand, they were found in EDS-treated-21 day and EDS-treated-28 day. Immunohistochemistry demonstrated that TRH-R1 and R2 expressed in the spindle-shaped cells reappeared around seminiferous tubules of post-EDS 21 days and 28 days groups. Immunofluorescence double labeling confirmed that these TRH-R1 and R2 positively stained cells were newly regenerated progenitor Leydig cells. Conclusion TRH-R1 and R2 are involved in the regeneration of Leydig cells in EDS-treated rat testis, and they may exert functions in the proliferation and differentiation of adult type Leydig cells.

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Injection on prevention splenectomy surgery of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Methods 132 patients who would received splenectomy were selected as an object of study from June 2011 to June 2013. They were divided into the treatment group and the control group by randomizing. The two groups were surgery treated with the same methods and other postoperative. The treatment group received intravenous drip of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Injection after 6 hours once daily for 10 consecutive days. The control group received subcutaneous low molecular weight heparin like the time of the treatment group. Results There was a difference in the incidence of DVT between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion It is effective that Salvia Miltiorrhiza injection in preventing deep vein thrombosis after splenectomy.

Objective To establish the orthotopic bladder cancer model of multidrug resistance as the human' s, and detect its resistance condition. Methods Two groups of nude rats 4-6 weeks of age were inculated with 1×107 cell of T24 or T24-ADM, following with observation and putting down their meat, drink, mental condition, urine and abdominal mass growth. Animals were sacrificed after 4 weeks later, then their bladder were weighted and measured, histopathologic assessment was performed,mdr1 was detected by PCR,and cells from the bladder tumors were detected of multidrug resistence by MTT. Results Group of nude rats inculated with T24-ADM generated tumors about 80 % (8/10), the one inculated with T24 was 90 % (9/10)and about 2-3 days early. The blank group had no rats emerge tumors in bladder mucosa at all. Bladder weight and volume: (0.8±0.3) g, (1.0±0.5) g, (875±158) mm3, (903±192) mm3, difference between the two groups had no significant (t = 1.332 and t = 1.215, P>0.05). Histopathologic detection: The two groups of bladder cancer tissue biopsies can be seen more chaotic arrangement of cell structure, cell body shape is irregular, to the depth of myometrial invasion in different without breaking the film. Between the two groups there were no significantly differences. PCR detection of mdr1 expression differences between the two groups was significant (t = 3.612, P <0.01). Cytological detection of drug-resistant cell volume is slightly larger, and no significant difference in morphology. MTT detection: cells from the inculated T24-ADM mice bladder tumor were more resistance to ADM than the ones from the inculated T24 mice bladder tumor (F = 412.107, P<0.01), and for several other drugs were also resistant. Conclusion Cell transplantation was successfully used to establish bladder cancer model in situ of T24-ADM, and with multi-drug resistance characteristics. The model laid the foundation for further multi-drug resistance research of bladder cancer.

Objective:To study the CT features for solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) in the abdomen and pelvis and to improve the diagnostic accuracy. Methods:Fourteen patients with SFT were collected in our hospital from January,2011 to December,2015.Characteristic of images were analyzed and compared for 10 SFT,which located outside the abdominal organs with extragastrointestinal stromal tumors (EGIST),leiomyosarcoma, and schwannoma. Results:Necrosis and cystic formation were frequently present in SFT in the abdomen and pelvis.CE-CT showed serpentine vessels along the periphery, while pattern of enhancement was maplike inhomogeneous progressive.Comparing with the EGIST or schwannoma, the difference of CT value in non-contrast and the arterial phase were statistically significant (P<0.05).The numbers of peritumoral circuity vessel were significantly different between SFT and EGIST (~=18.27,P<0.008) or between SFT and schwannoma (x2=19.25,P<0.008).Comparing with the leiomyosarcoma or schwannoma,SFT located outside the abdominal organs. We found that tumor necrosis rate was significantly different between SFT and leiomyoscarcoma (x2=8.00,P<0.008).Conclusion:SFT in the abdomen and pelvis show certain CT characteristics. The CT value in noncontrast and at the arterial phase, tumor necrosis rate, and serpentine vessels along the periphery were pivotal in differentiating SFT from leiomyosarcoma,EGIST and schwannoma.
