Objective To investigate the efficacy of microsurgery treatment with small craniotomy lateral fissure approach for hyperten-sive basal ganglia intracranial hemorrhage. Methods From December 2013 to February 2015, 30 patients with hypertensive basal ganglia intracranial hemorrhage ( blood loss within 30~60 mL) were analyzed respectively. Summarized the methods and techniques of this microsur-gery treatment and analyzed its advantages and disadvantages compared with the traditional operation. Results The hematomas were excluded more than 90% which were proved by reexamination after opreation. There was one case of temporal lobe infarction, but there was no re-bleed case and death case. The recovery of consciousness is good, and the limb function and language function were improved by early rehabilitation treatment. Conclusion Microsurgery treatment with small craniotomy lateral fissure approach for hypertensive basal ganglia intracerebral hemorrhage has the advantages of minimal invasion, complete hematoma removal and low complication and disability rates, which is worthy of promotion and application.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of work-amusement activities combined with daytime rehabilitation technology for schizophrenia in remission. Methods:A total of 218 patients with schizophrenia in remission who received treatment in Shaoxing 7 th People's Hospital from September 2018 to April 2020 were prospectively included in this study. They were randomly divided into an observation group ( n = 109) and a control group ( n = 109). Both groups were treated with routine drugs. Based on this, the control group was treated with daytime rehabilitation technology, and the observation group was treated with daytime rehabilitation technology combined with work-amusement activities. After 12 weeks of treatment, curative effect, Positive and Negative Symptom Scale (PANSS) and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores were compared between the two groups. Results:After 12 weeks of treatment, total response rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (91.74% vs. 77.06%, χ2 = 8.92, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the observation group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment [(33.12 ± 4.19) points vs. (40.54 ± 5.32) points, t = 11.44, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the control group was significantly decreased compared with that before treatment [(35.02 ± 4.33) points vs. (40.54 ± 5.32) points, t = 8.55, P < 0.05). After treatment, PANSS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( t = 3.29, P < 0.05). After treatment, MoCA score in the observation group was significantly increased compared with that before treatment [(27.14 ± 2.89) points vs. (23.39 ± 2.48) points, t = 10.28, P < 0.05]. After treatment, MoCA score in the control group was significantly increased compared with that before treatment [(26.02 ± 2.73) points vs. (23.41 ± 2.56) points, t = 7.28, P < 0.05]. After treatment, MoCA score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group ( t = 2.94, P < 0.05). Conclusion:The efficacy of work-amusement activities combined with daytime rehabilitation technology is marked on schizophrenia in remission, which can markedly improve mental symptoms and cognitive function.

Objective To construct a predictive model for the severity of depression based on the expression of circular RNAs(circRNAs)in peripheral blood. Methods Selecting 80 patients with depression who visited our hospital from August 2022 to August 2023,they were divided into a mild to moderate group of 49 cases and a severe group of 31 cases.Forty healthy individuals were selected as the healthy group, and after gene chip screening, five circRNAs with significant differences were selected.Further analysis was conducted on the relationship between circRNAs and the severity of depression, and independent risk factors affecting the severity of depression were analyzed, based on the analysis results, construct a depression severity prediction model using a column chart based on the expression of circRNAs in peripheral blood. Results Compared with the healthy group and mild to moderate group, the severe group had circRNA_100679,circRNA_1 03636 relative expression level decreased,circRNA_102802,circRNA_103964,The relative expression level of circRNA_002143 increased(P<0.05).CircRNA_100679,circRNA_103636 is negatively correlated with the severity of depression(r=-0.594,-0.512,P<0.05),circRNA_102802,circRNA_103964,circRNA_002143 is positively correlated with the severity of depression(r=0.603,0.425,0.412,P<0.05).CircRNA_100679,circRNA_102802,circRNA_103636,circRNA_103964,circRNA_002143,family history of mental illness, and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)are all risk factors for the severity of depression(P<0.05).The predicted area under the curve of the column chart prediction model based on risk factors such as peripheral blood circRNAs is 0.900,with a 95%CI:0.811-0.945.The model has good discrimination and high internal validation consistency. Conclusion The construction of a column chart model based on circRNAs expression for predicting the severity of depression has good predictive value and can provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of depression severity in clinical practice.

OBJECTIVETo analyze two fetuses with multiple malformations revealed by ultrasonography using single nucleotide polymorphism array (SNP array), and to explore the strategy for the prenatal diagnosis of 1p36 deletion syndrome.
METHODSAmniocentesis was performed on the two pregnant women. Amnion fluid cells were cultured, and karyotypes of the fetuses were determined through G-banding analysis. Whole genome SNP array was used to detect genomic anomalies of the two fetuses. The karyotypes of their parents were determined through G-banding analysis of peripheral venous blood samples.
RESULTSG-banding analysis showed a 46,XY,add(1p36)? and a 46,XX,add(1p36)? karyotype for fetuses 1 and 2, respectively. SNP array analysis showed that the fetus 1 had arr[19]1p36.33p36.32 (752 566 - 3 393 462)×1 and 7q35q36.3 (144 480 549 - 159 119 486)×3, and fetus 2 had arr[19]1p36.33p36.23 (752 566 - 8 362 754)×1, 6p25.3p22.3 (204 909 - 20 182 185)×3. The mother of fetus 1 had a 46,XX,t(1;7)(p36;q35) karyotype, and the mother of fetus 2 had a 46,XX,t(1;6)(p36;p22) karyotype. The karyotypes of both fathers appeared to be normal.
CONCLUSIONSNP array has the advantages such as high sensitivity and high accuracy for prenatal diagnosis, and can provide more detailed information for genetic counseling of 1p36 deletion syndrome.

Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, including lung cancer. However, the exact underlying mechanism and therapeutic potential are largely unknown. Here we report that protein arginine methyltransferase 6 (PRMT6) is highly expressed in lung cancer and is required for cell metabolism, tumorigenicity, and cisplatin response of lung cancer. PRMT6 regulated the oxidative pentose phosphate pathway (PPP) flux and glycolysis pathway in human lung cancer by increasing the activity of 6-phospho-gluconate dehydrogenase (6PGD) and α-enolase (ENO1). Furthermore, PRMT6 methylated R324 of 6PGD to enhancing its activity; while methylation at R9 and R372 of ENO1 promotes formation of active ENO1 dimers and 2-phosphoglycerate (2-PG) binding to ENO1, respectively. Lastly, targeting PRMT6 blocked the oxidative PPP flux, glycolysis pathway, and tumor growth, as well as enhanced the anti-tumor effects of cisplatin in lung cancer. Together, this study demonstrates that PRMT6 acts as a post-translational modification (PTM) regulator of glucose metabolism, which leads to the pathogenesis of lung cancer. It was proven that the PRMT6-6PGD/ENO1 regulatory axis is an important determinant of carcinogenesis and may become a promising cancer therapeutic strategy.
