Objective To research the methods of treating gynecological inflammatory diseases with TCM. Methods By analyzing gynecological etiology and pathogenesis of inflammatory diseases, we explored the functions of pathogenic dampness, heat, blood stasis, and deficiency of genuine Qi on the onset, development and changes of gynecological inflammatory diseases. Results Gynecological inflammatory diseases is mainly caused by external invasion of pathogenic dampness, heat and insect poison and internal disorder of viscera, leading to the generation of internal dampness, heat, blood stasis and turbid fluid. Besides, the deficiency of genuine Qi is also a major reason for this disease. The therapeutic methods should be eliminating dampness, clearing heat, removing blood stasis, and strengthening genuine Qi. Conclusion TCM is effective in treating gynecological inflammatory diseases.
3.Effects of electro-acupuncture combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation on protein kinase A-cyclic adenosine monophosphate response element binding protein signal transduction system after focal cerebral ischemia in adult rats
Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2010;32(6):405-408
Objective To investigate the effects of electro-acupuncture (EA) combined with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) on protein kinase A-cyclic adenosine monophosphate response element binding protein (PKA-CREB) signal transduction system after focal cerebral ischemia in adult rats and to explore the mechanism of EA combined with rTMS in treating ischemic brain injury. Methods The animal model of transient focal ischemia was made by artificial middle cerebral artery occlusion. Seventy-five Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal group, model group, EA group, rTMS group and EA+rTMS group. The expressions of PKA and pCREB in hippocampus were detected and the neurologic impairment rating was observed at the 7th, 14th and 28th days, respectively, after infarction. Results The average gray densities of PKA and pCREB expressions in hippocampus after focal cerebral ischemia in model group were higher at the 7th d, lower at the 28th d than that in normal group (P<0.05);higher in EA group, rTMS group, EA+rTMS group than that in model group at all time points (P<0.05), higher in EA+rTMS group than that in EA group and rTMS group at 7th and 14th d(P<0.05), and there was no difference between EA group and rTMS group(P>0.05).The improvement of neural motor function was obvious in EA group, rTMS group and EA+rTMS group compared with model group (P<0.01), especially in EA+rTMS group. Conclusions EA combined with rTMS can promote the functional recovery after cerebral ischemia, enhance the expression of PKA-CREB signal transduction system in hippocampus after focal cerebral ischemia, which might be one of the important mechanisms of EA combined with rTMS in treating ischemia brain injury.
4.Stimulation of TNF-β and IL-2 production by PMA/PHA requires p21ras, raf and ERK
Chinese Journal of Microbiology and Immunology 2001;21(2):134-137
Objective To investigate whether the p21ras/ERK (MAPK) cascade is involved in regulating the production of TNF-β and IL-2 in Jurkat cells. Methods Cells were transiently transfected with a dominant negation construct of p21ras (ras15A or ras17N), raf (raf 1-130) or ERK1 (erk1K71R), or transforming p21ras (H-ras61L) or constitutively active raf (raf22W) using lipofectamine. Control cells received a plasmid carrying β-galactosidease. Transfectant cells were stimulated with PMA/PHA and released TNF-β and IL-2 quantitated by ELISA. Results In control cells, the production of TNF-β and IL-2 was approx. 2 fold by PMA/PHA stimulation (P<0.001), while transfection with a dominant negative mutant construct abrogated the effects of PMA/PHA. Transfection with a constitutively active mutant had no effect on basal production of TNF-β or IL-2, but all of the constitutively active mutants significantly enhanced the response of the cells to PMA/PHA (P<0.05). MEK1 inhibitor PD98059 inhibited the effects of PMA/PHA and active construct genes on ERK activities and cytokine production. Conclusion These data demonstrate that the p21ras-ERK cascade plays an important role in regulating the production of both TNF-β and IL-2 in Jurkat cells stimulated with PMA/PHA.
5.A psychological behavior problem detection of children with permanent tooth injury
Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2015;24(11):1023-1025
Objective To explore the relationship between dental trauma for children and their psychological behavior characteristics. Methods By using the method of case-control study,7-11 years of age children accepting oral health examination in our department were asked to fill in the questionnaire. The children without dental trauma were selected as the control group and the children with permanent tooth injury were selected as the injury group. Each group has 57 cases. All children finished the Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ) and their parents finished the Achenbach child behavior capacity list (CBCL).Results (1) The average CBCL score (32.51±20.41) and scores of P and N branch capacity lists in EPQ (44.72± 11.67,48.05± 12.39) of the injury group were all higher than those of the control group (17.19± 11.67,37.64± 8.17,41.40± 8.78) (P<0.01).(2) The detecting rate of behavior problems in injury group was also higher than that of the control group (33.33%,7.02%,P<0.01),OR=6.63,95% CI =2.09-21.05.Boys of the injury group had higher scores than those in the control group in seven factors (depression, social withdrawn, restlessness, violation of discipline, attack, compel and social problems) (P<0.05),and girls of the injury group also had higher scores than those in the control group did in three factors (depression, social withdrawn and attack) (P<0.05).(3) In the injury group, boys had higher scores in the factor of schizoid anxiety than girls did (P<0.01),risk factors were depression (OR=0.529,95% CI =0.292-0.959),social withdrawn (OR=2.274,95% CI =1.311-3.944),restlessness (OR=0.426,95% CI =0.213-0.852),violation of discipline (OR=0.426,95% CI =0.213-0.852) and attack (OR=0.644,95% CI =0.459-0.903).However,girls had higher scores in the factor of depression than boys (P<0.05),their risk factor was depression (OR=0.573,95% CI =0.357-0.919).Conclusion There is a certain correlation between tooth injury and their psychological behavior characteristics of children.

China Pharmacy 2016;27(22):3165-3168
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for breaking the“dual-track”system of the pharmacist and perfecting pharmacist system in China. METHODS:By reviewing laws and regulations relating to the pharmacist in recent 21 years, the implementation and problems of pharmacist system was investigated. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:The imperfection and dissonance of pharma-cist management regulations and laws system result in long-term“dual-track”system of pharmacist authentication. There still are other problems such as low rate of pharmacist registration and unbalanced regional distribution;unbalance between national li-censed pharmacist examination and examination condition of health systems pharmacist;divergence and mismatching between phar-macy education pharmacist training;social value of pharmacists cannot be reflected adequately. It is suggested to formulate Regula-tions on the Licensed Pharmacists as soon as possible, establish uniform and standard qualification and title appraisal system for na-tional pharmaceutical professional and technical personnel, promote licensed pharmacist classification registration and examination system reform, strengthen pharmacy education and licensed pharmacist training system reform, guide licensed pharmacist allocation rationally and orderly by various measures and enhance the propaganda of licensed pharmacist and their work,so as to promote the mergence of national licensed pharmacists qualification system and health professional technical pharmacist competence system.
7.Contrast enhanced ultrasound diagnosis of poor differentiated cholangiocarcinoma
Chinese Journal of Medical Imaging Technology 2010;26(1):93-95
Objective To investigate the value of contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in diagnosing poor differentiated cholangiocarcinoma. Methods Sonograms of 11 patients with pathologically confirmed poor differentiated cholangiocarcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. The size, boundary, shape, echo, blood distribution and characteristics of the enhancement duration were observed. Results All lesions presented irregular shape (100%), most (9/11, 81.82%) with indefinite boundary, some (6/11, 54.55%) with low echo. No blood flow signal was found in the interior of masses, while grade 1 blood flow signal was detected in periphery of the lesions. Resistance index (RI) was ≥0.6 in spectral Doppler in 7 (63.64%) lesions. Marginal rim-like hyperechoic enhancement in the arterial phase was found without centripetal filling in all 11 patients, marginal rim-like hypoechoic enhancement was observed, but being hyperecho compared with interior part without medium in delayed phase. Conclusion The contrast-enhancement modality of poor differentiated cholangiocarcinoma is characteristic. Combined with two-dimensional ultrasonography and color Doppler ultrasound, the diagnostic rate will be improved.

Objective To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics and treatment of nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL). Methods Seven patients were confirmed as NLPHL by pathologic immunohistochemistry. Six patients received combined-modality therapy of chemotherapy and involved field, and the other one received single chemotherapy. Results The 3-year local control rate and overall survival rate were 100 % and 86 %, respectively. Only one case died of pulmonary infection following chemotherapy. Conclusion These patients with NLPHL has favorable prognosis, tolerance and less toxicity for combined-modality therapy. However the management of toxicity following treatment should be noted.
9.The Effect of Different Movements on Recovering the Function of OA Joints
Chinese Journal of Sports Medicine 2001;20(1):43-45
To appraise the preventive and improvable effects of different movements on OA joints, animal models by fixing the left posterior knee joint in extention using plaster cast for 8 weeks in Newzealand rabbits were carried out. The rabbits were randomly divided into different groups, and the X-RAY、range of motion and ligament biomechanical features of the joint were observed. The results showed that proper movement improved the range of motion, restored tensile strength of the ligament around the OA joint. It is evident that movement improves the function of the OA joint and delays the OA exacerbation. The combination of active and passive movement is the best way to achieve good result.
